Each of us has our own mental health journey. On that journey we meet exceptional, skilled, kind and highly professional people that help us. Paul is a life changing beacon on my journey. His skilled use of ACT and EMDR is life changing. He has the perfect approach to every session - not always comfortable but necessary in order to help you to help yourself. I will always be grateful to the support and ability for me to make the most of my life from now on. I cannot recommend him highly enough. For anyone that doubts whether "therapy" is for them or doesn't work - then meet Dr Paul. Ian S

I would absolutely recommend Dr Paul from my own experience. He has helped me a huge amount with PTSD & trauma from my past as well as other things. We've worked through the issues I was having together (with EMDR therapy) and he has helped in my recovery immensely!
I have always felt really comfortable in his sessions and he always puts me at ease. He has a wide range of knowledge on a variety of subjects and I am confident in his abilities as a therapist. He is also just a really likable person!
I am really glad I found Dr Paul - thank you so much.

I cannot recommend Paul enough! I've suffered with chronic OCD for 19 years and last year it became increasingly more debilitating. My family decided private therapy would be a good option and we found Paul online and I'm so so glad we did! Paul has helped me immensely. Over the years I've had numerous other therapists and treatments but none have had such a big impact and results as Paul has.
Since starting a mixture of ERP and ACT with Paul I've had many breakthroughs and have been able to breakaway from OCDs grasp. From the first session Paul made me feel comfortable and has never once made me feel judged about the terrible intrusive thoughts I have. He's made therapy a pleasant experience and I actually look forward to my weekly sessions. If your thinking about therapy but are nervous about the idea, I highly recommend giving it a go! Paul has had such a big impact on my life and I will always be grateful to him for all his help. Thank you Paul for your continued help and support. Xx

Paul has been a fantastic support for me over the past 12 months. A brilliant professional who is always available, supportive and caring. He helped me through a moment in my life that in itself became life changing to the point where my life is now better for it.

I had the pleasure of doing CBT, EMDR, and ACT with Paul for several months. I came to Paul in an emotional state, with a complex background of dysfunctional family, relationship difficulties, trauma and addiction. We worked together to improve the quality of my life, and teach me how I could approach life differently. Paul helped me to come to terms with being an Addict and was with me for my early days of recovery in 12 step fellowship, while we focused on targeting specific trauma. In the several months I went from avoiding my feelings, to accepting and being willing to feel my feelings. We got to the root of my issues and what was really going on and how my past linked together to build this net of survival tools. I would recommend Paul to anyone, his approach was factual, educational, personal, but not opinionated or demanding, or biased. He let me come to terms with things myself, and helped me to learn, and gave me exercises to help me look into things. Paul understood that changes comes from within, and understand that my emotions are what i experience, they do not have to become them. That it's acceptable, and healthy to feel my feelings. Thanks to Pauls help, I have been freed to live life, and function, I can take care of day to day things, and am excelling in my professional work life, and personal life. Very grateful for everything Pual has done for me.

The help received from Paul has been positively lifechanging for my wife and my eldest granddaughter. After several failed attempts for help with anxiety and anorexia respectively, we were so lucky to find Paul who has helped both conditions and allowed our family to move upwards and onwards. Paul’s experience, and ability to effectively engage, has underpinned a lifechanging experience for which we are truly grateful.

High recommended! I have tried differentapproaches and techniques before, but the ACT work with Paul was a real gamechanger for me. Practical, useful, simple skills to help identify triggers and appropriate solutions. Also ways to structure thoughts to focus on what is important. Paul cuts through the jargon and helps the individual. Thanks!

I cannot recommend Dr Paul Rogers enough and I am so glad I managed to find his services. Paul was so professional and understanding throughout my treatment, and I never felt invalidated or unable to share what I was experiencing. I really felt as thought Paul cared about my recovery and wanted me to get better just as much as I did. Through having EMDR therapy with him I am now back at university completing my degree and I am recovered from mental illness. Paul is a credit to the profession and I take no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who is suffering from mental health problems.

I can recommend fully Dr Paul Roger's EMDR therapy. I had a crisis in later life due to childhood events that manifested as PTSD in my 50s . The treatment has helped me deal with a toxic impact of experienced at my school that proved difficult to deal with which were compounded by my High Functioning Autism . Paul is entirely straightforward to deal with as a client. Gets straight to the issues. Is refreshingly direct and honest I am very grateful to him for his expertise and experience. I would be more than happy to share my positive experience if it helps someone suffering PTSD.

When a close friend became ill last year with mental health issues, I persuaded them to give CBT a try as I had heard positive things about it. When researching therapists, we came across Paul’s website and were immediately impressed by his breadth of experience and qualifications so decided to get in contact. My friend is now in the middle of treatment and I can definitely say we made the right decision. Paul is very approachable and easy to work with, he is extremely knowledgeable in his field and is clearly passionate about what he does, going above and beyond what is expected. The CBT resources and advice he has provided have been excellent. Most importantly, my friend has felt able to open up to him completely without fear of judgement. I would have no hesitation in recommending Paul to others who are looking for help with mental health issues.

Paul has been working with a friend who can't review him publicly for confidentiality reasons but has asked me to say on his behalf that Paul has been a huge help. Paul says it as it is but importantly he can relate through his own work experiences with what a person is going through, real empathy. No issue in recommending.

My name is Clifford Butler. I have experienced a series of complex traumatic events during my life. I have been diagnosed with PTSD, Extreme panic and anxiety disorder... Amongst a Variety of other significant mental health problems. All of these impact extremely on my day-to-day lifestyle.
I was referred to Dr Paul Rogers with a very closed mind and was unsure about CBT and EMDR therapies. Having had therapies before with no results.
I must say Dr Paul Rogers immediately made me feel comfortable and after working with him in my opinion, he is absolutely at the top of his game. Nothing short of a genius.
He has helped me understand and take control of certain aspects of my life, giving me a better quality of life for myself, this also reflects my relationship with my family.
I highly recommend Dr Paul Rogers and the therapies he is offering with Outstanding results.

I started visiting Dr Rogers after my mental health took a toll on my work at university. EMDR was a service that I'd never heard of, but I feel that working with Dr Rogers through an EMDR regimen in conjunction with CBT had a huge effect in improving my attitude to life and work by abrogating the effects that PTSD and anxiety have had on my life. Thank you, Paul 😊

I found sessions with Paul very helpful and most productive. He was clear and didn't lead me in any way. He helped me achieve my end goal. I still use what I learnt through our sessions. 👍

As a personal injury solicitor of 30 years' experience, I have rarely come across such a skilled and professional practitioner. The results he achieves on what I would regard as the most difficult cases of post traumatic stress disorder is nothing short of remarkable.

Paul allowed me to confront my fears with knowledgable and practical advice. A very kind man who really knows what he's on about after many years of experience. 100% recommened.

After many years of personal struggle and crisis regardless of my own efforts, I sought the help of Dr Paul Rogers. This action in itself was a huge relief and Paul's years of experience, skills and expertise guided me to a place of insight and resolution previously unavailable to me in my life. His relaxed manner and unique style coupled with his deep understanding of the therapeutic applications of his techniques was reassuring and professional and his recommendations are always easy to understand and put into practice. His help has been profound, like headlights in the dark and I will always remain grateful .

I would recommend Paul without hesitation.
Its a big shock when you come to realise at a point in your life that the way you have always seen the world may not be the same as people around you.
To try and understand why you feel and respond differently to others and more importantly why is a difficult place to find yourself.
Paul explained clearly and with the right amount of humour why i felt how i did, why my mechanisms for managing difficult thoughts was not wrong but by not recognising them the opportunity to manage them was being missed.
Paul was brilliant in enabling me to recognise these thoughts and by doing so opened up the ability to decide how to respond to them or if more appropriate choose not to act.
Paul explained the whats, whys and hows in a clear and simple way which made it easy for me to understand.
I would recommend Paul without hesitation for his mix of undoubted professional ability and importantly his clear and when appropriate witty manner which i found just right for me.
