Some years ago I was in here . I can't really remember much.. I lost the plot... big time Life was very difficult back then bad times in my life i was in for quite a long time 6 months or more.. times was really bad 👎 with depression and psychotic thoughts... I know humberside police thuck me in on a court order for the public protection and my own protection ? Really what was Grimsby police saying about me. It was the late 80s early 90s. Or some where about that time !! I can't remember leaving there...? 😕 I remember having E.C.T Treatment... I am a lot quieter now.. but I feel like I am going to explode at any time again .. I lost 8 years of my life back then.. I still don't know 😕 from this day.... I do remember one chap he thought he was Allen wicker .. that is about all I remember 🤒

Recently went there for treatment had couple of appointments I feel better now staffs are friendly and very supportive, calm environment. I would recommend this place for treatment.

Was sectioned onto Connolly Ward last year. Excellent caring and professional Staff, both Clinical and Housekeeping. Mid day meals were lovely, tasty and filling. Activities were regular and varied. I was always included in care decisions. My visitors were always made welcome. Only criticism was the amount of noise during the day, admittedly there were works going on downstairs, and it doesn't have to be like a Library, but if people could just keep their voices down a bit? Anyway, overall 5 stars was thoroughly deserved due to my experience.

Ignore the poor reviews! If your unfortunate enough to have need of this place, rest assured, it's staffed by the most empathetic and compassionate people you could wish to meet. Your stay will be brief, but speaking from personal experience, at a time of need....Your in safe hands.

Very good when I was admitted there some years ago saved my life turned up with nothing but a tablet pc some clothes and a modem got right within 6 months and kept all my belongings thankyou to the staff that treated me and got me of drugs have done them scince manager Steve put in hard work at the time respect to the man proved me inocent of some crimes

PHC it's ok not much more I can really say didn't really feel particularly safe they're bit scruffy and dirty but some of the staff are fairly nice enough

Been twice both times staff where great went to gym got fit went bowling once a week great food got healthy and better
