Reviews of The London Centre For Eating Disorders

The team at The London Centre for Eating Disorders and Body Image have been exceptional in the help they provided to me. Their vast experience and high calibre was apparent every step of the way. They looked at things from all angles, trying to understand what I was going through. The therapy I received and the techniques they taught me have helped me maintain a healthy lifestyle, and a healthy and good looking body, in the long run and truly helped me go back to my real me. I would strongly recommend The London Centre for Eating Disorders and Body Image to anyone experiencing eating disorder or body image issues. This might change your life.

I actually can't rate this therapy service and its team highly enough.
I first approached The London Centre in order to see a Psychologist that I had previously seen, and was keen to work with again. Right from the initial contact with the team administrator, I felt that the service was very accessible, and didn't feel 'scary' to contact. I was able to see the Psychologist that I wanted to, and appointments were easy to arrange, via email, which I found helpful, being quite anxious about making telephone calls.
Some complicated external circumstances resulted in me becoming quite unwell. The Team at the London Centre continued to work with me through this, and helped to liaise with NHS ED services, and my GP to ensure that I got the help that I needed. I was treated compassionately and with understanding throughout, despite some tricky circumstances. My Psychologist and the Service manager worked to secure me an inpatient placement, and continued to advocate for my need for input within the NHS. Throughout my treatment with The London Centre, there was thought and regard for the financial implications of undertaking this treatment, and planning for longer term treatment - I felt that they really cared about the ethics and implications of private treatment, and I genuinely don't know what I would have done without their help and support - this even went as far as an email on the day I travelled to an Inpatient unit to check that all had gone to plan.
This service did its upmost to help me in a really difficult time, and went far above and beyond what they need have.
Thank you to everyone at the London Centre - I can honestly say I don't think I would be alive without you.
