Reviews of Atherleigh Park
The Nursing staff are caring and the rooms are spotless. The doctors, occupational therapists, physios and psychologists work a a team to build you up for discharge.
I was at this place yesterday I feel so sorry for people like myself with mental unstable problems spoke to people like myself yesterday to be honest I felt alone in this w3 till I found other people like myself in there who need full time support and care when you experience lows in life you know that others do it helps you get through day knowing others are like you
Wonderful place, can't fault it. Staff were attentive, caring and experienced. There were activities for the patients that were stimulating. The food was plentiful and varied. Mum's medication was sorted and she's much better now. The individual rooms were clean and fresh with an en-suite and TV. We couldn't have asked for better care for Mum.
Staff are very attentive despite having a large number of patients much better staff than any other hospital in my experience
I was currently under the home treatment team and all I can is they are absolutely amazing who actually care about you, through them I feel amazing I’m come so far from 3 months ago all I’m saying is don’t be afraid to speak out give them a shot they have helped me and they give 100%
My mum was in here to 4 weeks, she went in after being transferred from Whiston hospital. She was treated with such care and thoughtfulness. Totally professional. When we asked any questions they were very helpful. Without the staff and psychiatrist on Parsonage ward she would still be poorly
5 stars yea really i wouldnt give it 1 ohhh yes really i wouldnt give it 1 star wants the point off this hospital most the staff where ignorant arrogant and so rude yes alot to deal with but if they cant handle it there in the wrong job my first time on a mental health unit and i couldnt get my head round it i never got the help i craved just a waste off timr
5 stars for this place to be shut down. The staff are rude the place ran by a bunch of kids who have no care for the people in their care ! They would sooner be singing on the karaoke machine than seeing to the patients! My daughter was discharged after taking an overdose! They said they couldn’t help her there what a laugh ! All this in the news about mental health this place is a joke !!! If anything happens to my daughter they will be responsible! They wanted her to sign saying she had discharged herself against medical advice ! My daughter begged them to help her ! What a loads of rubbish !!!
Treated with care, respect, kindness & dignity, the staff were very kind, helpful & attentive. They were always willing to help me especially in times of distress - the relaxation room was fully equipped with weighted blankets, bean bags, aromatherapy scents & special mood changing lights. The staff were always on hand to help!
The care, staff, n facilities are excellent.
