I highly recommend working with Thekla; if you have been considering therapy, go for it, you will not regret it! I worked with Thekla on a variety of challenges and techniques and am happier and more in tune with myself as a result. We started with CBT, and then moved onto EDMR and parts work, which were game changers for me. Thekla was patient, attentive, and instinctively knew what I needed and how best to approach me to make the most of our sessions. Thank you!

Thekla is a fantastic therapist. I would highly recommend her as she is extremely kind, patient and understanding. I started with CBT, moved to EMDR and finished my sessions with parts work. Thekla has been fantastically knowledgeable on all these forms of therapy. Knowing what form of therapy to try and when massively helped. Therapy has proved difficult for me at times and Thekla was always understanding often suggesting a five minute break to help ease my discomfort. She has made my anxiety manageable with an introduction to grounding techniques, whilst helping me form my own self-soothing practices. I have worked with Thekla for around two years and I would not be where I am today without her. I honestly cannot recommend working with her enough. Thank you for all your help!

Thekla is a amazing therapist, the best one I’ve had and I am definitely on the right path to recovery. Thekla is a wonder of PTSD, Trauma and CBT therapy. Right from the start Thekla explained everything to me on how your brain reacts and the processes involved to help reduce the flashback.throughout the sessions she constantly checked on my discomfort level if it was high we would take a 5min break. At the end of every session she told me what I was going the following week so I knew what to expect and prepare myself.
She taught me new grounding techniques and how and when to use them, and also very good at helping to explain anxiety and ways to manage it in my day to day life.
Thekla is very professional, she really is very knowledgeable. Thekla is understanding, non judgemental and caring and best of has a sense of humour to lighten up the end of each session so it’s left on a high. Perfect for me. I’m am quite sad that I won’t see her every week but I am coming through a black hole that I have been in for nearly two years, and that’s with the help of Thekla. Thank you so much, I can start living my life now! Definitely recommend!
