I was initially concerned about sending a large framed painting to the USA, but needn't have worried. Pack and Send provided an excellent service all round and I was delighted to hear the picture arrived the day it was due, with no customs issues and that it had been very well packaged. I'd give 5 stars but do think the price a bit excessive and I would have liked a more detailed 'receipt of goods' for peace my own peace of mind after dropping it off. But otherwise I was happy with the communications and would use them again.

Excellent communications. Solid packing. Timely delivery. We were very pleased with the service provided by Pack & Send. They picked up an antique tall case clock in Cupar that was in multiple pieces and in need of extensive repair. They then packed the clock carefully for international shipment and coordinated all of the customs matters and the clock arrived in a timely fashion. Generally, it was very well packed. There was just one thing that could have been done to improve the outcome: pack the inside of the clock case with bubble wrap to avoid the door and clock mechanism from dropping into the case during transit. So, as I said, excellent communications. Solid packing. Timely delivery.

I was recently on a 3 week trip in Ireland and Scotland, carrying a suitcase that held only one weeks worth of clothes. I had accumulated so much paper and books from my genealogy research that I needed to either buy another suitcase and pay the airline fee or ship it all to the US. Pack & Send to the rescue! I had scheduled a moving out of Edinburgh to Switzerland with another company, with whom I had exchanged emails and calls for over a month, and the day I stayed at home for them to come pick up my things, they just never showed up. It was a Friday and I had to move out of the country that weekend! I called Pack & Send, which is just around the corner from where I lived in Edinburgh, literally 5 minutes before they closed for the week. They sent me the quote on email and we closed the deal very fast, and 15 minutes later I had my stuff picked up at my place. The full transaction was smooth, everyone was super helpful, always answering my emails fast, and they charged me significantly cheaper than the first company I had agreed with. My things arrived in Switzerland safely and in a timely fashion. I extremely recommend this company.

The architectural salvage company we’d purchased them from (Holyrood Architectural Salvage), recommended Pack & Send.
