A. R.Efficient and patient staff. Be prepared as there will be queues, especially following Covid. However things constantly move and in my experience it’s actually quicker to board the boat than pre-covid.
From sailing twice post covid my advice is to print off your Boarding Pass, Test AND NHS Covid pass as this aids the staff and speeds the process. Yes these can be shown on a phone but you will have to switch between them on your device. Having the paper copy, you simply present them when asked.
S. P.Slowly getting better, but still rather dull and basic for such a busy cruise terminal. Long term parking not cheap, very few facilities other than toilets, lifts, escalators and seating area, snack and drinks trailer outside on way in.

A.This is the port I caught my cruise ship from the MSc Magnifica recently the port itself is a little tired and it's but to be honest it's not really a problem because you're only using it to go on holiday and the excitement of going on a cruise boat far outweighs the condition of the poor it was perfect the staff were friendly the bags were collected efficiently and got straight through onto the ship what more can I say would recommend this poor or though I'm sure that there's not really much choice if you catching a cruise boat you go to the port terminal that you have been allocated because the boats not going to move for you would recommend also worth noting easy to get to and lots of parking nearby so lots of options not just expensive on site Port parking but there's other parking nearby that offer free shuttles
M. F.Boarded here for a cruise. Good and easy facility. The terminal is ok, standard stuff. Parking around the terminal is good, used a private company. The drop off and pick up is excellent and made departing a lot easier.

J. B.What a way to travel and what a lovely port too. The Terminal was well laid out, easy to navigate and surprisingly quick to proceed. I was very impressed by the staff, facilities, everything really. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this as a port to travel from.

P. K.Very good place to start a cruise. Plenty of good amenities, loos etc. Well organised embarkation, disembarkation & check in. Enough seating. Plenty of dropping off places, with helpfull porters. Could do with better catering facilities.
P. P.Great terminal with an easy check in and friendly staff. Just a point that there is a big shopping centre and the football stadium close by so it took us an hour to cover the last 2 miles. Check the Southampton football fixtures before leaving and allow extra journey time if they are playing at home.
F. C.Disembarked from our ship As a wheelchair user this was a very complicated procedure The staff in the terminal were totally disorganised and in the main really unhelpful. Reclaiming our baggage was a nightmare and getting ground transportation taxis what neither enjoyable or easy.
M. D.Dropped by coach at terminal building, straight into booking hall fast service luggage was taken from coach to cabin by porters free of charge or tip ( wanted to give tip but left luggage at cabin prior to our arrival at cabin) very busy in booking hall but plenty of staff for quick service!!

Everthing went smoothly right from the beginning.
We dropped off the luggage at the entrance and went imto the terminal building.
We registered and got a boarding call number. After a short wait we boarded and had our lunch.
The room was ready shortly afterwards.
Most workers in the terminal were senior Citizens. They did well.

We loved this stop. It is very well located, you can walk to the city and the train station. Everything less than 15min on foot.
We went by train to Salisbury, £ 11.80 one way. The frequency on the date was one train every 20/30 minutes approx. There at the station exit you can take a tourist bus (the only way we can find to get to Stonehenge) has several stops, including Salisbury Cathedral. And in the ticket you can include the entrance to stonehenge and cathedral for a better price than buying it separately. In our case 32 pounds including it. It has an audio guide in about 10 languages. With the ticket you can also get on the normal city buses. Since the frequency of the tourist bus is 1 hour.
Highly recommended to do this tour on your own.

Nos encantó esta parada. Esta muy bien situada, se puede ir andando a la ciudad y a la estación de tren. Todo a menos de 15min a pie.
Nosotros fuimos en tren a salisbury, 11.80 libras ida I vuelta. La frecuencia en la fecha era de un tren cada 20/30 minutos aprox. Allí en la salida de la estación se puede coger un bus turístico (única forma que encontramos para llegar a Stonehenge ) tiene varias paradas, incluida catedral de salisbury. Y en el billete puedes incluir la entrada a stonehenge y catedral por mejor precio que comprarlo separado. En nuestro caso 32 libras incluyendolo. Tiene audioguia en unos 10 idiomas. Con el billete puedes también subir a los buses normales de la ciudad. Ya que la frecuencia del bus turisco es de 1 hora.
Muy recomendable hacer este tour por libre.
