The studios are really easy to get to from the underground. I’ve only used the smaller studios as I tend to go with less than 3 people and the space is really lovely. The sound system is great so you can ignore outside noise and really focus. The staff are friendly and helpful. One of the nicest affordable studio hires in London.

The young man who was on the front desk was very helpful at every turn. good space too. However when a booking starts at ten, it is too late for staff to arrive at 10.00 to open up the premises, I think; though it was described that that was the policy. Not the best I feel. Otherwise very happy.

Nice place, different studios where you can rehearsal. Since I found them I always use it for my dance routine. Kind people working in, always clean and they could give you everything that you need.

Great selection of clean and spacious dance studio spaces in a very convenient location in London. The 15 min buffer time between bookings ensures you can always start your studio session on time and the staff at the front desk are always very helpful!

Great studios for Dance classes, rehearsals etc. Friendly professional staff. Centrally located in Camden. They offer peak and off-peak rates. The teachers are exceptional and they offer a whole variety of dance classes from Ballet to Burlesque. I feel very at home teaching there.

I've had a lot of fun in these studios! Its easy to book and the staff are really helpful if you have any issues, and they've clearly put in a lot of work to make it as safe as possible to use the space within COVID-19 restrictions. The top studio (Balcony?) is particularly gorgeous as a space if you have a bigger group.

They are clever and kind about their rules and the environment they have created for other artists is safe and positive. They really understand their clients’ needs because they share them too. Fantastic studios, there's a space to fit every group size and budget, booking process is extremely easy and the staff are always welcoming and helpful. They've had covid-secure hygiene protocols in place since lockdown was eased which really helps you feel at ease when using the space.

The studio was lovely, I would say the Lounge Studio is a good size for 3 people to dance in. It would be nice if the floor was cleaned between each user as it was a little dirty.

I am really satisfied by the services offered: the energy brought into staying open, the studio are always clean and ready, the team efficient, available and friendly... ! The only little minus I could mention is the "caution" tape present on most dance studio floor due to the Covid measures.

Clean studio space with easy to book online platform - great for small group to large groups to rehearse. Ground floor studio might not be ideal for dance rehearsals as lack of ventilation makes the room fog up easily.

The communal area is quite shabby but the studio itself was quite nice. The lounge studio felt quite small but actually for this specific project was ok. I would definitely use it again for a small project but probably wouldn’t book it if bringing more than 7 dancers. It would have been nice to see a point of contact on arrival at the studio as didn’t see anyone from beginning to end - all done online.

Friendly enough place. I did have an issue here though as they have placed the speakers for the sound system in the studio next to their office in a bad place, at chest level, on a little shelf on the wall that adjoins their office. We were then asked us to turn down the sound system leaving me unable to properly hear the music I was trying to sing to whilst standing on the other side of the room in a studio full of about six people. If the system had been properly installed with the speakers high up and angled down on the walls in each corner either side of the mirror, this wouldn't be an issue and they would have much better coverage at less volume plus look more professional. As it is the bass is just flying out the back of the speakers into their office and you only have to have one person standing in front of the speakers and it's game over.

Very nice and overall clean studios and super friendly staff. Used different studios of the Academy Mews Dance Studios already. Unfortunately there was a bit of damp on the wall of one of the studios and hence a bit of damp smell and had to leave the windows open but I’m sure this can be fixed. Apart from that very happy with the studios and staff and already recommended it to some dance friends of mine.

I booked the The Lounge Studio for myself, to practice alone and it's the perfect size. The online booking system is clean and easy and the staff is very friendly too! The off-peak rates are a bonus. Definitely booking more sessions.

This could be such a great space with some love and attention and some renovation. It’s in a brilliant location , really close to Camden tube station and such a needed space. It is also only one of a few that allows you to instantly book online - such a great and efficient facility. Rates are reasonable but I would be willing to pay more if it could be improved. I would love to see: 1. Air conditioned studios (some of the studios are just too hot even with fans - not great for dance) 2. A shower room/ more adequate changing facilities 3. More helpful staff - staff attitudes are hit and miss, some are lovely, others act as if you shouldn’t ask them anything and are quite rude 4. Not essential but it would be great if (some) rooms had lighting facilities and audiovisual equipment/screens available 5. Ability to book in 15 min slots eg 1hr and 15 mins 6. Overall improvement of decor and facilities - is a bit rundown and uncared for With just some essential improvements I would definitely rebook as the location and online booking facility are fantastic, but unfortunately have to look for a new space which is such a shame as this could be really great space.

A bit hard to find but google maps should lead u right to it. Its a little side street an the building has a small sign saying mews studios. U might have to ring the bell if the door is closed Reception is up the 1st flight of stairs I use the solo room since its the cheapest. It has a stereo, windows and a fan (if it doesnt you can ask the staff for it- theyre very friendly) Big mirrors with decent lighting. Theres also a piano in the room 😂 Staff knocks politely when your time is up Bathroom is at the top floor

So glad to have this space, the studios are affordable and well managed. The staff care about small business and helping dance teachers and schools to grow and be successful. We run classes every week and most weekends here and always have a great time.

A friendly and lively beginners course in singing. The actual school is quite busy in the evenings so you do get a bit of noise from rooms next door but it's great to work at some famous songs in a group.

Studio looked exactly how it does in the pictures provided. It is clean, spacious and perfect for yoga, rehearsals, a fitness class or even a casting call. I booked the Balcony Studio for my first HIIT fitness class. The owner was so kind and friendly and was willing to cater to what ever I needed. We were able to use the mats that were available which was so helpful as it’d be so expensive to buy and bring your own for a full class. Would really recommend Academy Mews and certainly will be coming back. Just to add it is located in the heart of Camden which is a great location. It’s also really easy to find, thank you so much! Been to a few sessions here with some friends, rented out studios to practice choreography. The studio condition could be better, there was a lot of dust balls all over the floor so I don't think they vacuum the rooms... a note to visitors...Please kindly open the windows to air out the rooms as one time the group before us had the windows shut the entire duration of their session and the room smelt really really bad ! We had to open the windows ourselves, turn the fan on to blow out the air to the window and spray body spray to drown out the odours to make the room bearable to be in. Please take consideration for others as this is a public studio where many people go.
