Such a great place for therapy and meeting like minded people. Highly recommended and needs supporting.

Great place to learn pottery in a beautiful old church.

I go here as we use the ballet studio on a weekly basis. It's a good studio. Facilities are dated but that ok as it's an old building and it clean and very reasonably priced.

An excellent range of courses and events in a slightly strange old building that was once owned by the Swedenborg Society! Swedenborg was a scientist and mystic who greatly influenced William Blake. Both believed every human had imagination and creativity as their birthright, and that is exactly what the Arts Factory is all about. I have known of its activities for some years and have watched it grow from strength to strength, despite often surviving on a shoestring. I once hired one of the studios to work on a painting and found the atmosphere excellent - a delightful buzz of creative excitement but no raucous intrusions. Whenever I have curated or helped to hang exhibitions in their characterful gallery-space I have found all the staff both amenable and appreciative. The gallery is available for hire. The resident art director also curates an annual cycle of exhibitions for post-graduates and students. The Summer Salon is an increasingly popular and prestigious event. The courses for young artists frequently achieve stunning results. An excellent feature over the years has been collaborative work between different disciplines, in particular dance and visual art. There are a long established pottery studio and program of yoga courses and events.

I've started going to Zumba here and it's great! They have all sorts of dance lessons going on here for everyone and pretty reasonably priced, I believe they also have other activities too - its also a great place to pick up some leaflets on all sort of 'arts' things going on in the area.

One of these barely surviving community centres that could really do with more support from Islington Council. Has put on fantastic activities / courses / classes for many years, with wonderfully dedicated staff. I hope it will survive, and strive!

I love the Islington Arts Factory. Even when I have yearly breaks from the factory, I always seem to go back. I started when I was 5, now in my thirties ~ I still love going.
Teachers are great and very passionate about dance, and its great that at the end of the year you can show your friend and family member what you have learnt throughout the year!
It really does bring out your confidence and keep you fit.

Had a 1:1 ceramics throwing class with Kayley who is an excellent teacher, very attentive, knowledgable, patient and friendly. 100% recommend.
