First online class with Michael today and I loved it. Michael closely monitored our progress and gave individual teaching points to class members. The class was accessible, easy to follow but with great attention to detail. We spent time getting the basics right, really understanding rhythms, hip action and the transfer of weight through our feet. I left feeling I had a better understanding of the principles of Rumba and will work on my ‘hip-action, figure-of-8 homework. The class was fun and purposeful. It’s such a privilege to have access to high-quality dance instruction online, as I live in a rural village. Great start to my Saturday. Thank you so much. 🙏

Since the beginning of lockdown 1 or 2 I've danced with Michael & Jowita, and I've loved every minute. Have done group classes on Saturday's and some weeks having private lessons, also joined the stretch and relax class on a Sunday morning. If I lived closer I would attend live classes for sure.

Don’t worry if you think you have two left feet - no experience is necessary! Michael and Jowita will immediately make you feel at ease and are always on hand with helpful tips and loads of encouragement. I’ve been taking the online Zoom classes and have loved every minute. I have found the Zoom classes to be the perfect alternative to a face to face class. It is a great option if, like me, you are a little bit nervous of dancing in front of other people. It’s also a great way to learn to dance from two amazing and experienced teachers (plus Rodger the Cat!) and absolute beginners are more than welcome – all you need is access to Zoom, a little bit of space and a willingness to have a go.

Love this studio . The coaches are kind and engage my daughters to push their limits and dance to their best ability. They love to dance here. I love these two beautiful people. Michael and Jowita are brilliant teachers. They have been my teachers for nearly one year now. I do the zoom classes with them. In class they pay attention to all the students, they are encouraging to each and everyone of us. The routines are simple but fun and with great detail to technique for every individual student. Beginner or more advanced latin ballroom dancers you will definitely improve under the guidance of Michael and Jowita. Very important, they are strict but will make you laugh so hard. Never a dull moment in class when their cat Roger get’s involved. All in all if you want to learn how to dance, you are in great hands. i am looking forward to meeting them in person in the dance studio. I am very grateful they kept these zoom classes going. Did I say I love my teachers, yeah I really do.

I've danced with Michael & Jowita for over a year now, all through lockdown on zoom and I've loved every minute. Their classes are fun lively and they cater for everyone's needs from a beginner to more advanced. They break the steps down and by the end of the class we know a small routine. They are such lovely people and very down to earth and would highly recommend being taught by the best. If I lived closer I would attend live classes without about a doubt Feb 2022 - online classes are still continuing and still so much fun every week. You think signing up to a dance class that is what you will get with Michael & Jowita , well you couldn't be so far from the truth!!! We have guest appearances from Rodger The Cat who is cheeky and loves to join in, The Robot Hoover who likes to go for a spin around the dance floor too, whilst creating magical choreography to a fabulous tune and nothing gets Past Michael and Jowita with their High Definition camera to give constructive feedback and just because you are on Zoom and you think he cant see you - well think again lol!!! They are an amazing couple and hope to join them one day for a face to face class

*UPDATED FEB22* I have been taking online Zoom dance classes with Michael & Jowita since last July 2020. I’ve danced pretty much all my life (tap, ballet, musical theatre) but I always wanted to learn Latin and Ballroom. Being able to dance already I thought would stand me in good stead but oh my goodness, those techniques are hard! (I shout at the Strictly judges even more now… seriously guys, these people have a WEEK to learn a new skill!). Plus I’ve learnt it is FORWARD ON THE HEEL in Ballroom 😘. I have absolutely fallen head over heels in lurve with the Latin dances though (always was a wiggler!), even the dreaded Samba (after I FINALLY got the hang of the bounce action!). Michael & Jowita always choose absolute bangers of songs to learn routines to and I like how we are pushed… both in technique (they miss NOTHING! Even lovely Roger has his eye on you! 🐈‍⬛) and with the complexity of some of the choreography as we progress in certain styles. I’ve had a few private lessons too which I would definitely recommend. I’ve got to know them, and them me, over the past year and a half and they are wonderful people and just little rays of sunshine, just oozing positivity and we are super proud of what they are both achieving too. Dancing with them still has the most wonderful effect on my mental well-being as I’m always buzzing after a class and you can forget your troubles for a while. I’ve also made some lovely friends from the Zoom group and everyone is very supportive, it’s like a little group of sparkle I’m proud to be part of. I cannot recommend them enough. Still would love to do a workshop that our lovely Saturday morning gang can all travel to one day! X
