Unique experience...how to learn your wedding dance while having FUN!! We had only 5 weeks before our wedding when we met Pablo... Boy how stressed we were in the beginning and boy how everything fell in place bit by bit with the help of both Anne and Pablo! Not only we danced the dance of our dreams but we had so much fun!! The environment created by Pablo and Anne is so warm and friendly that we felt we were part of a family!!! I am ready to share my experience with whoever chooses Tango as a wedding first dance... let the magic fill the air!! Pablo and Anne hugs and kisses from the heart!!

Tango Space really hits the right balance. Classes are fun, friendly and varied but also pack some serious tuition. I've been most impressed by the teachers' dedication and warmth - they are really committed to their students. You feel treated like an individual - even during large group classes - given personal pointers tailored to your standard and helped throughout to master these.
There is further support outside lessons with newsletters and all number of other special classes. The variety and potential to get involved and progress here is superb! What I like though, is the relaxed environment - it's alright just to turn up and enjoy. There have been times I've come to classes not really feeling up to it, but still finished on a high.
The other great point about Tango Space is their schedule. They have plenty of drop in lessons spread across the week in different London locations - a very convenient and flexible way to incorporate tango into your life, especially in busy London.
Most of all, what I didn't expect joining these classes a few months ago, was the whole Tango community into which you become absorbed. This is so enriching and such a special way to learn a dance: Pablo, Naomi and Anne really help you make the most of it. Highly highly recommend!

Naomi, Pablo and Anne are some of the friendliest tango teachers I know. Always engaging and likeable, they make sure that all their students come away loving tango even more.
Their classes are detailed and well structured. I particularly enjoy their musicality classes.
Dalston practica on Thursday is a great place to go and practice your new steps or revise old ones. Pablo plays all traditional music with a good mix for beginner or experienced dancers. Plus if you don't feel like dancing you can also chat and relax with a great group of people, with a tea, mate or glass of wine.
I wish it could be Thursday more often!

Tango Space is a great place to start your adventure with tango. even if you are not very good with dancing or choreography of any kind Pablo will teach you how to enjoy tango and dance in an amazing and graceful way. Classes are very well-structured, oriented on your individual needs. What I like most about Pablo's classes is that it's never about the steps and choreography, but about feeling the music, communicating with the partner and moving in space according to the music. And this is what I believe real Argentinian tango is about. Highly recommended!

I took my first ever class a year ago and because of university commitments I couldn't attend again. Still I left such a great impression on me that a year later I searched them again and started going, first two hours a week and now four hours a week. I am short of one month into the classes and I must say I enjoy them tremendously, I look forward to them every week.
I'm Argentinian so I wanted to find a place that would teach Argentine tango the way I've always known it to be, as an intimate yet social dance that doesn't rely on choreography but does on emotion, true to it's essence. Tango Space is brilliant for that. The teachers are extremely nice and funny, as well as talented and kind. They teach with passion and patience; regardless of the day of the week I choose to go, I'm always welcomed to a diverse group of people being taught by teachers clearly in love with tango. I don't normally leave reviews but out of appreciation to them and the dance my grandparents met with I want to recommend Tango Space to anyone regardless of age or level, you'll enjoy yourself a lot and learn a bunch to!

Pablo and Anne are amazing, skilled, patient, fun and friendly teachers. They teach so well and recognise that each person learns differently and teach us with care and understanding. They are great people and make everyone feel welcome. The classes are fun and there is noticeable improvement after each one as you learn something new or work or something you were taught previously. I love their classes! They are the highlight of my week! You will not be disappointed and will learn how to dance beautiful Tango.

Tango Space is the state-of-the-art place to learn tango since it provides the right balance of technique and entertaining. The tutors, Naomi and Pablo, are simply great, the way they communicate and instruct significantly comes ahead to other classes I have attended in London and Spain.
The classes take place at different venues in central London and at different times, which perfectly adapt to everyone’s agenda. Also, the fact you only pay for the classes that you are able to attend makes everything easier.
I am just a beginner and I attended my first class a bit skeptical, however I think it has been the best choice I have done in months!
S. F.
I have spent quite a while searching for tango lessons in London and, to be completely honest, was highly skeptical as to how effective group classes can be. However, Tango Space has proved my doubts to be erroneous and I am incredibly happy about the choice I've made. Pablo and Anne are absolutely amazing teachers - they manage to explain the steps in a very easy way, help you feel the music and adjust the movements to it, and above all this, give each of the student a sufficient amount of attention. Once joining Tango Space, you become part of a family, not just a trained group, and this is the reason why coming back is always so pleasant!
M. M.
Pablo and Naomi are amazing teachers. Unlike in many other classes where you learn a series of steps that you will soon forget, Pablo and Naomi spend a lot of time and energy making sure you get the posture right, and make you work over and over again the basic steps of Tango (and you can do so much with them!) until its gets into your body.
They really care about their students, and pay attention to their movement in order to help them improve. Naomi is particularly amazing at teaching followers, giving us tons of tips to make our dancing more elegant.
I think Tango Space is one of the best classes to start as a beginner. You will build strong foundations, and avoid accumulate flaws that will take years to get rid off.
S. R.
I have been learning Tango for a year and have really enjoyed the classes. Pablo and Naomi really care about their students, and make each class fun as well as informative. I've also enjoyed meeting, and dancing with, the other students and the atmosphere is very much one of mutual support. I can't recommend them highly enough.
J. S.
The classes are well structured and informative to build up your dancing skills whether you are a beginner or more experienced dancer. I always learn something new every time and also look forward to the next lesson! Completely recommend to anyone interested to learn tango.
Patience is a key to improvement. There is no such thing as fast track/ express way to learn tango. One must learn to walk before you run ..... Enjoy the experience!😊

I like trying out different tango places and teachers. Tango space absolutely stands out for me.
The group classes are well-balanced with a lot of attention given to posture, connection, musicality, floor-craft and the music and its context beside the steps and figures. It truly covers the whole tango-package. Pablo's understanding on all of those areas is really inspiring.
Doing some 1-1 classes with Pablo has been a total revelation. With Pablo's infinite patience, readiness, true care, passion, attention to detail and of course in-depth understanding, it has brought my understanding of tango to a whole different level. It is without doubt the best way to learn and lift your dancing to the next stage.
Highly recommended.

I took my first ever Tango lesson 2 weeks back, and fell in love with it. Thanks to Pablo and Anne. They're great teachers, lovely people and have built community of very nice people. I am fortunate to find them during my initial quest. I highly recommend Tango Space whether you're beginner or advanced. Give it a go!
T. S.
For me, the main difference between these classes, and many others I have been to is this: other classes may teach you tango moves, but Tango Space will teach you how to dance. Pablo, Naomi, Anne and Elisabeth are excellent tango teachers and their classes and milongas (social dances) are warm, friendly and a lot of fun. The different days have a slightly differing feel, for example, the Tuesday class is a little more formal (but still very friendly) and the Thursday class is quite cosy (like dancing in a rather large living room) with wine and cake. Definitely worth the visit, especially if you are beginner to intermediate level.
H. W.
I'm convinced that anyone who learns from Pablo will become a good dancer - for sure! Pablo is not only a brillant dancer himself, but also a very skillful and patient teacher who looks closely at each one of his students and attaches importance to detail. You will notice very quickly that tango is his absolute passion, if not his life! Classes are lots of fun, too, and so are the milongas he organises - nice ambiance, great music and lovely people. Check out Tango Space, I'm sure you will love it!
J. b.
I have attended two of the Tango Space classes so far, I accidentally came to the intermediate class on my first session but the teachers made me feel very comfortable and i was able to join in!
The classes are really good fun and a great place to meet people. There is often a 'Milomga' which is a sort of after party where people of all levels come to Tango, and when I went there was food and wine!
The teachers are very warm and make you feel comfortable, and at the end they perform a tango routine themselves where you can see that they are clearly masters of their craft.
I will definitely keep attending, it is like a slice of Buenos Aires in Central London and I can see a community building.
B. K.
I love those tango classes! Pablo and Anne are very skilled teachers and you can feel they love what they do. They are passionate about tango and very helpful to correct you, give good pieces of advice, etc. Atmosphere is very friendly, you will dance with many people what will only speed up your learning curve. Recomend!
T. S. C.
I have been in the Thursday class and practica for weeks. I liked the friendly atmosphere and the traditional music played there. I always liked Pablo's teaching as it was practical, structural, and attentive to details. You can dance, eat, drink or just chat with others during the practica. It was a lovely relax place to practise your Tango. I would recommend beginners to start with Pablo as they would fall in love with Tango.

Having trained in several dance genres, I wanted to try something different and challenging, so I tried Argentine Tango. From starting the taster workshop at Tango Space, I haven't looked back! The journey so far has been a delightful discovery of connectivity, musicality, codigos, history, culture and the community spirit generated at Tango Space is without doubt an extension of the warmth, passion and dedication of Anne and Pablo, and their ability to bring on-board friendly and dedicated teachers who are committed to their students. Many areas of my life have blossomed since I started Tango - I'm hooked and thank you!

There are different kinds of tango classes, and it all depends on your personal preference. The thing I can say about tango space is that they teach basics, and they have a committment -- a well-grounded one in fact -- to the teaching of basics. It's like playing basketball. What distinguishes a first-rate player and a mediocre one is always the basic skills, not the fancy slam dunks. It sounds easy -- the basics, but it is considerably more difficult when you actually do it. And this is all the more important as tango is an exceptionally difficult -- hence interesting -- and precise dance. All the fun and the challenge lie in the basics, and a solid training in the basics can carry you a long way down the road. I have met many who can do fancy moves but couldn't manage a slow and decent walk on the dance floor. Somehow you have to really relax, open up, and completely feel at home in tango in order to have a truly good walk. And that, fortunately, is what is taught at tango space. So I highly recommend.
A. P.
Pablo and Anne create a really welcoming space, and I always enjoy their classes which are well-designed and delivered, at both beginners and intermediate level. They break down what you learn into digestible chunks that the brain (even mine) can handle. Their classes are always fun and friendly, with lots of laughter. I would definitely recommend their classes, practicas and milongas to aspiring tango dancers.
M. Z.
I have been going to the Tuesday classes for about 4 months, and recently joined the Sunday class + milonga. The teaching style of Pablo and Naomi is the best I have ever experienced, they go very deep into technique work and within weeks make everybody dance better and feel more confident. The class is great fun as well as the venues. I would recommend them to anybody wanting to either start learning Tnago or improve their dancing.
M. M.
Pablo was my first Argentine Tango instructor. He was amazing! From my first lesson, he instilled his passion for the dance and I learned so much and so quickly that I was dancing at the Milonga in less than 2 weeks. He really cares about the dance and progress of all his students and learning with him is pure joy! His Practicas and Milongas are some of the best I have experienced and always warm and friendly. Highly, highly recommended!
I. R. O.
You have the flexibility to attend classes at different times and locations during the week, weekly Milongas, regular Master classes offerings (free!) and it's social dancing - so yes, you get the basis of competition/ballroom /show dancing but you actually learn to tango as they would at a regular Milonga in any given corner in Argentina.
To add to these, the teachers are not just talented and inspiring they are really good at teaching. They will break the steps out in digestive forms and before you know it you're doing a giro as naturally as you walk, you'll learn some history and get a sense of the rhythm and musicality of the dance, you will laugh and you'll also discover how much Tango and life are alike and "dance the mistakes" <3 (also, Tango is quite an intimate endeavour, and when they speak of confidence developed in the dance, it is not an exaggeration)...
In a nutshell: not enough I can tell you about this school or these lessons: try them out, dive in.. rejoice in tango!
M. N.
I like trying out different tango classes and learning from different teachers. Of course not all classes are made equal - in my opinion Tango Space comes ahead of the pack In London and it's the one class I always go back to for that warm fuzzy 'home' feeling :)
This class contains all the elements that make up a good tango learning experience: skilled teachers, friendly crowd, principles-instead-of-step-sequences approach to teaching, and charming venues in central London. Pablo, Anne and Naomi are very charismatic teachers who work with passion and desire to take every student forward at a pace suitable to each individual, giving plenty of encouragement (but also keeping a hawk's eye on your steps and making sure that you get it right by the end of the class!) Usually there is a good balance of leaders and followers in the class so you will always have a chance to get enough practice with a partner. And another great feature of Tango Space is that most classes are followed by a practica or a milonga giving students an opportunity to easily transition into dancing tango socially.
All in all I highly recommend Tango Space as a place to try out tango for the first time (It may take over your life. You've been warned! :) and to expand your understanding of the more subtle aspects of this beautiful dance that will take your tango to the next level.

I have been taking private lessons with Pablo from tango space for 1 year and I love it. He is a brilliant teacher. My level has improved since I started private lessons and I'm glad I chose him to teach me. He is considerate, patient, flexible, and a pleasure to dance with. the group classes are great too!
P. C.
I am a beginner Tango student and when I decided to start learning Tango I was quite insecure about where would be the best place to do it and a friend of mine told me about this place and its teachers and I gave a try. Since then, since the first class, the Tango bug bitted me hard.
Even if I don't have much experience yet, I think the best thing about these classes are the teachers. I think they know how to get the best from you pushing you to do it better and better and at the same time being very gentle and patient when they have to correct you. They want us to learn properly, without flaws, right from the beginning and then from there keep learning but with a good base and that’s why they make us practice and practice, making us laugh with their funny and honest feedbacks.
When I go to the classes I feel like at home, with friends, where I can have fun while I learn such a beautiful dance. The teachers, and other people helping there, are extremely friendly so as soon as I am in the venue I forget about everything else and just enjoy myself.
I think that if anybody is looking for learning real Argentinean Tango with good professionals, and at the same time enjoy them selves while doing it, this is the perfect place to do it.
N. D.
Naomi and Pablo are excellent teachers. Their passion for the dance and for transmitting by teaching it is outstanding. It is a real pleasure to learn from both of them and in most places I dance elsewhere people think I do courses since many more years then what I do :)
I felt warmly welcomed when I started going to their lessons and milongas. The space is beautiful and cosy.
It is so much worth trying it, you will for sure have an excellent evening and great embraces!
T. A. D.
I love going to Saint Barnabas’ Church Dalston for tango every Thursday night!
The teachers, Pablo and Anne, are very attentive to each student; and with all their hearts, they take it seriously to get you to walk, do the right step, the right posture, and the right Connection.
Both of them are great, experienced tango dancers who have bags of tips for you, whatever level you are at.
Even on days when you feel frustrated about learning a new step - watching Anne and Pablo dancing will remind you of why you fell in love with tango in the first place!
The Practica (student practice dance) after the class is a magical time! This is when it is all about you - dancing; being immersed in the spell-binding tango music; expressing your passion; or just practising that new steps you learned in class!
What makes the place even more special is that Anne and Pablo are two of the sweetest and most personal people I've known; and at class, after class you will always have a great social time and make good friends! (snacks and drinks available on the side).
So if you want to enjoy music, releasing the drama in you, keep fit in a graceful way, or just have some good, friendly company, this is the place for you.
I can't think of better things to do on a Thursday night!
R. G.
I have been attending group classes with Pablo and Anne for almost a year. What makes their classes so special is not only the passion that Pablo and Anne have for tango, but also their passion for teaching tango. These classes are an absolute pleasure and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
C. M.
After a few years of dancing tango and trying out different classes, I can definitely recommend Tango Space. The atmosphere is always fun.. Pablo and Naomi are clear and can teach you a lot in just a few classes, and the milongas after the classes are always nice and friendly.
G. K.
Tango Space and the Tango Light milonga have been my favourite!
Great teachers focusing on what matters most in becoming a social dancer.. connection and musicality!
Thank you for your workshops and lessons, they have been helpful and enjoyable.
M. d. C.
It would be easy for me to say that this place is amazing with great and knowledgeable teachers but that won't really help you in making a decision would it? I think it's best if you find out where I'm coming from.
I wanted to learn a new skill after my birthday last year. My grandfather was a dancer and have always wanted to learn something that would have made him proud of me. I decided that Argentine Tango would be the one. I signed up for a 13 week course with another place before I happened to chance upon Tango Space. I managed to try Tango Space before my course with the other place started.
Unfortunately for me, the other place that advertised "Argentine Tango" lessons didn't really feel like it was teaching what I read about or watched on YouTube. I had to stay for the duration of my course until I could come back to Tango Space!
So that's where I was, I read about Argentine Tango, I've seen YouTube videos and wanted to learn more about the good stuff, the proper stuff.
Knowledge of teachers: Pablo, Anne and Elizabeth are experts. They teach you about connection, embrace, musicality, embellishments, not just the steps or patterns.
Class: The classes are nicely paced, with enough attention given to all the students. You would never feel excluded especially if you are new and literally finding your feet. I've invited several friends that have all enjoyed it!
Practica: The practica is amazing, it gives you time to practise what you have learnt. The teachers would also spend 1:1 time with you which help you learn better and faster. I can't tell you enough just how patient Anne and Pablo were with me (and they still are) when I was first learning how to walk.
Teachers: They are amazing as people. They're very loving and giving to their students. In just under a year, they have become friends, better yet, they are my tango family. My grandmother passed away recently and I had to be away for a few weeks, both Anne and Pablo sent me regular messages checking on how I was doing. I'm eternally grateful for their friendship!
So if you've read about Argentine Tango and would love to try it out, give Tango Space a try and get hooked! I'll see you on the dance floor!
K.
Tango Space is a unique tango school because its teachers, Pablo and Naomi, pay a very special attention to all their students and give a lot of individual advice. A group class sometimes seems like a semi-private class and having tried a couple of other schools in London, Tango Space is the class that I always return to.
j. k.
Pablo always starts classes with the essentials, exercises to warm up with and for developing dancers balance and body awareness. Classes are always friendly and fun, with traditional tracks that make understanding the lesson easier, in this way musicality is more naturally included.
Explanations are clear with plenty of time for practice, review and questions. There is an emphasis on developing good technique from the beginnings, and building flexibility and awareness of the natural dynamic within the body for embrace, walk, axis, ocho, giro, etc. All followed by time to dance, and feel the lesson. Lovely! I'm a fan.
B. S.
Pablo and Anne are talented and patient teachers. The classes are fun and easy to follow and they are both very knowledgeable and always available to approach with any questions. My dancing has come on a huge amount in the few lessons I have attended.
A. C.
Pablo and Naomi's classes have the perfect balance between science and art of tango teaching.
Each part is accurate, clear and precise, whilst showing the flow, adding the sensitivity and application to the milonga.
As a follower, my questions on posture, movement, and reaction were encouraged and answered and although I have been dancing for a little while now, I benefited from both beginners and intermediate classes.
Their knowledge on musicality and stance on dance floor etiquette is really inspiring.
They are beautiful people and the atmosphere at the milongas shows that.
Love their online course and their videos. What an amazing supportive way to teach tango to all of I-can't-get-enough-of-this people.
Un abrazo muy lindo!

5 months ago, when I joined Tango Space for a taster class, I didn’t know I will keep going every week and I’d found a passion in tango.
Lovely teachers, friendly members, everything well organised. It is a real pleasure to attend the classes week by week.
J. U.
Pablo and Anne are wonderful teachers, attentive to detail, giving personal attention to everyone, and are very patient with us. They dance beautifully, and explain how to appreciate and dance to each style of music. They taught us the first dance for our wedding, which was lots of fun!
C. V.
Pablo & Naomi are great teachers, really friendly, approachable and fun. Their classes are well structured and give you an in depth understanding of what tango is about. I look forward to going each week. x
D. M.
A true privilege to be taught by Pablo, Anne, and Naomi. I am so fortunate to have found this wonderful school. They are very patient and attentive to each of the individual learners. Above their talents, the chemistry between them is beautiful and this reflects in their teaching. They spend time making sure that you get the techniques and posture correct, and how to connect with the music. A beautiful art taught by beautiful people, I would highly recommend.
A. N.
I attended a workshop near Barbican to assess my suitability (I am known for 2 left legs :) Amazingly, Anne and Pablo made us feel the taste of tango and start dancing in less than 2 hours. I love tango and would certainly recommend them. Many thanks, Anne and Pablo!
F. R.
Tango Space does a great job at promoting tango in the UK. They are a passionate, enthusiastic and friendly team who go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome. Their milongas have a great atmosphere and are amongst the most popular in London. Highly recommend a visit when you are in town!
E. S.
I have been in and out of tango for a few years. All teachers are passionate about tango, but not all are passionate about teaching. Pablo and Ana are incredible at teaching; their passion is infectious. I love every minute of my tango lessons!
T. W.
A recent addition to tango - Tango Space Sunday Practica. Organisers Pablo and Anne are great hosts and very good teachers. Club is in a great location easily accessible in central London (Holborn). Venue has good size floor that easily accommodates both practising couples as well as general dancers, unlike other practicas that I had been where there is not much space to explore moves as other dancers are squeezing through. Additionally, Pablo and Anne are always on hand to help. They also ensure that everyone have some dances by going to dance with them. Not many teachers do that!
E. S.
Amazing teachers in my opinion the very best in London.
They are patient and understand the right approach for each type of student.
In the classes they are always looking the posture and the basics foundation of Argentinean tango in a relax and friendly environment.
R. T.
I have completed a set of private classes with Pablo Rodriguez during the last fall. I found Pablo to be extremely professional. He is a really skilled dancer and his mix of kindness, patience and positiveness made the classes really enjoyable and effective. I would definitely recommend him! :)
T. M. C.
The classes are brilliant. The steps broken down into easily remembered chunks, lots of revision, all delivered with humor. If you want to learn to dance tango then tango-space is a great place to do it. Highly recommended to all.
S. G.
Very good tango classes. Pablo and Ana are terrific tango dancers and very good teachers. They made my private classes very funny and easy to follow. I certainly recommend them!
P. J.
Pablo is a fantastic teacher - he is knowledgeable, meticulous and patient. I highly recommend private tuition, as it allows you to progress at the pace at which your ability allows you, and tailors your learning to you. The venues used for private tuition are also very enjoyable to travel to and use. Highly recommended.
M. G.
I have been trying few schools and I found mine! Teachers are very good and very friendly and funny! Everybody in class is very nice too, and you can pick most of each days of the week to practice! Locations are very central, and after 10 classes you get 1 free. Weekend workshops are very useful. Come and Join us! Hasta Pronto!
P. M.
The teachers, Naomi and Pablo share their most inspiring lessons which you can put in place immediately just after the class in one of the best milongas in London. The new venue in Camden Town with panoramic view of Regent’s canal is amazing.
B. D.
I highly recommend the Semi-Private workshops for Improvers/Intermediate level, max 4 couples. It is money worth spent, with one to one teaching. It's held on Saturday afternoons so I felt more relaxed & can concentrate more compare to rushing for class after work or my dinner during the working week. Hall is spacious & plenty of natural sunlight, street parking is free on Saturdays.
F. M.
This Tango school is teching a very good technique. The teacher Pablo can explain very well and I have learned a lot during his classes. Also the lively athmosphere at the Milongas is always very enjoyable.
E. W.
I was on a business trip to London and am an aspiring beginner. Was very hesitant to go, and had a little bit of a hard time locating the dance... but it was well worth it. Good Music. Nice floor. Fun group. Seemed to be all level of dancers present. Hope to be back some day.
M. E. M.
They both were very welcoming from the beginning. The atmosphere created in their classes is relaxing (so perfect for learning) and very familiar! The teaching technique is great quality! 100% recommendable and highly amusing!! Great teachers!!
D. C.
For the past few weeks or months my life has turned to a bit new direction, with new feelings, rhythm and point of exploration the world around. There are people and places which help us to understand the world better and to find ourselves here. I am talking about tango, but for me now it is something more. That's really important to know that there is a place where you can forget about everything, where are you from and what are you doing, a place where somebody is waiting for you and you can just come, come back.
Thank you!
L. L.
Very good Tango school with great teachers. I`ve tried tango classes in Paris and London, so far Tango space has the best quality!
N.
The tango class was very well taught. The teacher Pablo is very talented and friendly. I am a beginner and Pablo was very helpful. I would definetely go back again!
I. V.
Pablo, Anne and all the teachers at Tango Space not only have been amazing in introducing me to and developing me in this wonderful and addictive dance but have taken such care to create a really lovely community that is always a joy to be part of.

I love Tango but what I love more is the vibe at Tango Space (Light), thumbs up for what they create so far, always the best musicalizadores, the most friendly hosting and anytime you pop in one of their milonga is easy feeling part of this big Tango Family. Mucha Gracias Chicos. :-) Pequenita

I'm not the best Tango student as I can Imagine - But Pablo and other teachers are extremely professional, kind and know very well what are they doing! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to try something new :) I'LL BE BACK SOON!
