Such an amazing dance school, what absolutely blows me away is not just the fantastic dance/performance training but that Sarah and her team invest so much in making sure all the children and young people are happy and well supported. Mental well being is a priority in this dance school (as it should be in all) and my daughter has absolutely adored and thrived being in this environment enabling her to fulfil her dream of attending musical theatre college. She is so sad to leave this year, we can't recommend highly enough

Professional, engaging and dedicated teachers delivering a wide range of classes in dance, music, drama and more... Great fun and especially important if you're considering pursuing a career in the arts industry.

Teaching for Roynon performing arts is a delight. The children are incredibly hardworking, polite and talented. They are always striving to improve, which is all you can ever ask for as a teacher. The studios are lovely to dance in too.
Roynon performing arts is a lifeline for me. It really cheers me up going in to teach the lovely dancers. I always leave inspired but how hard they all work.
The principal, Miss Sarah is always keen to offer workshops with working professionals. So not only do you get excellent technique classes you get to learn from working professionals too. You learn tips and tricks of the industry which so many of the students are keen to go into.
I urge you to take a trial class and I guarantee you’ll love it. You become part of a family and receive some of the best technique training in Southampton. There is a class for everyone and the teacher are so passionate about what they do.

We have been a part of Roynon Performing Arts for 25 years now and have loved every minute! We have witnessed the arts school go from strength to strength, taking on more genres and more styles. The service they supply to the community is second to none - without them, literally hundreds of students and families wouldn’t have such opportunities to learn skills in dancing and music. These have helped build some important life skills in our family, including perseverance... The important role Roynon Performing Arts plays has been shown in recent months and the awful pandemic, where online teaching and activities have become so important to our family and many others - thank you Roynon! They also have some amazing opportunities for students such as special guest teachers and helping senior students perform at top level shows and events. Whatever your age or ability or commitment level, we would thoroughly recommend Roynon! x

A fab, friendly dance school with hugely talented, supportive and hard working teachers. I've danced at the school for over 30 years, I now take the adult tap class with a wonderful bunch of ladies - it's very relaxed and theres always lots of laughs! My daughters take ballet, modern, tap and hip hop classes and love it - they've made great friends outside of their usual school friends and dancing has helped to develop their confidence and self esteem, with the encouragement and support of their teachers.

Roynon is fantastic. I have 2 girls who attend multiple classes across the wide range available. The teachers are all professional, passionate and determined to ensure the children have fun whilst progressing and learning. My girls have definitely gained confidence and benefitted hugely from being a part of the Roynon family. During Covid they have continued learning online which has been a lifeline. The teachers have worked really hard in difficult circumstances to ensure a safe fun environment for all. I would thoroughly recommend Roynon for anyone looking for great classes for their children.

I started dancing at Roynon when I was 3 years old and stayed there all the way up to University. Roynon is not just a performing arts school it is a family; I spent most of my childhood as a part of the Roynon family and I wouldn’t have changed anything about it. Even though I never pursued a career in the Performing Arts, Roynon made me so much more confident in myself and I would not be the person I am today without the opportunities and teachers there. I performed at dance shows, competitions, charity events, as well as high profile events, of which I am incredibly grateful and pinch myself that I got to do all of that (we even featured in Hello magazine and got to meet some very high profile celebrities). If you are interested in joining you will not regret it, the teachers are incredible and pay so much attention to each individual pupil, you never feel like you have been forgotten and they are full of so much encouragement!

With the Swan Samba Band and Roynon Performing Arts joining in our procession bringing such an upbeat vibe The Romsey Winter Carnival was such a great success.
