Reviews of tiny toes ballet - Cardiff

My daughter has absolutely loved and been going Tiny Toes Ballet since she was 2 (now4). Miss Daisy, her teacher in South Glos/Bristol has been so engaging, fun, patient and smiley through all her classes and is adored by our little girl! Our daughter has continued to grow and flourish in her love of dance and about to start Twirlers. She has gone through Twinkle and Talent Toes classes, where I had the privilege to be with her and watch her learn and grow, but now it is her time to do it alone and progress further. I have every confidence that Tiny Toes Ballet will continue the amazing work of teaching our daughter beautiful ballet and the skills she needs to take her love of dance further! Thank you for all the hard work and perseverance through covid to keep the children engaged and learning! Tiny Toes Ballet you are Awesome and I couldn’t recommend a better ballet class/company to join!

My daughter had her first ballet class at the age of 6 months last week and Miss Sonia was absolutely wonderful, my daughter loved it and had so much fun, she had a smile on her face through the whole class. Miss Rose is a lovely teacher we were made to feel so welcome and we can't wait to carry on with our Tiny Toes Journey. Would highly recommend for anyone to start Tiny Toes with their little ones.

We love Tiny Toes Ballet. We started just after our little girls first birthday and haven’t looked back. The teachers are so enthusiastic and absolutely amazing with the children. The lessons are very engaging and my little one loves going. Would highly recommend!

My two daughters have attended Tiny Toes Ballet since they were just 1&2 years old. The lessons are structured in a beautiful, magical way, themed around fairy tales, pirates and the like. With props and music, they have so much fun, they do not realise that they are learning. The teachers are highly skilled and know how to get every child engaged.
Now at age 4&6 my daughters have already performed in shows at the theatre. They have beautiful posture, confidence and a real passion for dance. Thanks to Tiny Toes Ballet I’m sure that they will dance for many years to come.

We attend Tiny Toes Staffordshire classes and have done since February, I can’t say how much my little girl has come one in confidence and being able to follow dance instructions since we first started! She loves music and to dance so this is a great way for her to express both and for her to learn ballet at the same time, she makes me prouder with each week that she attends and I can’t even say how good Miss Bianca is because she is just brilliant and we love her classes

My daughter has been going since September this year (since she was 18months old) and her confidence has improved hugely. I'm
Seeing changes in her every week and she asks to go (every day!) Miss Daisy and Miss Amy are both fantastic, their energy and enthusiasm never waivers & they are excellent at controlling a bunch of toddlers without being formal. I'd recommend tiny toes to anyone looking to introduce their children to ballet. 😊

Tiny Toes Ballet is a great way to introduce your child to ballet. The programme is playful and diverse and teaches the children all the basics of ballet through fun exercises.
Miss Daisy in Bristol is an amazing teacher. She’s dedicated, knowledgeable, super friendly and has attention for each individual child.

My daughter Ashley has been attending Tiny Toes Ballet for over 2 years, she thoroughly enjoys the the classes and there's so much more going on as well, she enjoys the show and the workshops that are also put on as well as the organised trips to watch ballet at the theatre. The teachers are extremely good at what they do and are very friendly, they make the lessons very interesting and fun, they learn a lot of ballet movements through three dance sessions, which my daughter loves. Can't fault the company, very professional.

My daughter attends the ballet and tap class in Sketty Bethel Reformed Church on a Saturday morning with Miss Emma. From the outset I have been very impressed with the format of these classes. I was dubious as to how much ballet a toddler could learn but the basic steps are taught through stories and music. I have been amazed to watch them on tip toes, doing gallops and demi-plies. The classes also provide general exercise and help improve balance. They learn about different characters, animals and countries; do role plays and there is also a section where they play musical instruments. My daughter is a little shy but she loves going to class and I think she really benefits from it. I would recommend Tiny Toes ballet to all children.

Absolutely fabulous class for tiny people. Such a creative and talented team that provide brilliant ballet classes. My son adores going to ballet because they let him be himself and encourage self expression, discipline and friendship. The classes are perfectly structured to each age group and explore dance through imagination, colour and movement. I could go on and on. It simply is the best class we've ever been to.

My daughter has been at Tiny Toes Ballet for 3 years now, moving up from Talent Toes (the mum and baby class) through Twirlers and now Spinners and she still loves to go to classes every week. I've loved watching her grow both in ability and confidence! The online booking system and e-reminders are a great advantage too.

Miss Sonja is the loveliest teacher I could ask for. She is very patient and fantastic with the children! I can only recommend Tiny Toes Ballet for everyone. Littleones love the sessions that are always good fun for both children and parents. 😀❤ …

Well what can I say - except Tiny Toes is fun fun fun! My daughter Miss Mollie Jane (age 3) absolutely loves her Ballet classes and her teacher Miss Vicky (in the Neath class). She looks forward to her classes (Talent Toes) every Saturday (term time only), she loves learning new dance moves, listening to the music and stories, playing games and making lot's of little friends! I highly recommend Tiny Toes!
Nothing compares!
S. J.
My daughter absolutely loves tiny toes ballet and the confidence she has is amazing. The teacher is so good and makes us both feel at ease. Looking forward to the next chapter, and seeing my girl exploring and dancing around

My daughter is attending tiny toes ballet already 3 month since she turned 3 years. Classes specially build for little explorers with stories, exercises, natural atmosphere, fun, using bubbles and sparkles to make classes much interesting for kids. It is not just fun but through the fun they better learn. She attends Sunday classes in Grantham and every week can not wait for next dancing class.
M. H.
My daughter loves her tiny toes ballet classes. It has really supported her to devlope her confidence and at 2.5 will now happily get involved in class with little involvement from me. The teacher is really encouraging, king and fun. My daughter loves to practice her ballet at home often teaching me a thing or two!

Tiny toes ballet is a fantastic place for my girl, she joined up and has built up so much confidence throughout. Miss Vikki has real talent and passes this on to all the children who attend. Ballet is a wonderful and would recommend to everyone. I love the fact that I can watch my child too and watch her develop each lesson. Big thumbs up 👍.

Tiny toes ballet are just utterly amazing! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has a passion for ballet. My daughter has been with them for a few years now and she absolutely loves them! Miss Lauren is fantastic! She is so good with the children and is very understanding of additional needs of children. My daughter is hearing impaired and Miss Lauren has gone out of her way to accommodate her and insure that she is included. I cannot thank tiny toes ballet enough for the passion, understanding and holistic approach they have with the children. They instill the beauty of ballet. Thanks again, Eleanor and Francesca Probert

Miss Louis and miss Georgie are wonderful with all the children. They are very kind and patient whilst encouraging the little ones to try new things. My daughter loves going to talent toes, the classes really capture her imagination and she has already told us she wants to dance on stage... at 2 years old! Thank you so much for inspiring someone so young to do something she clearly loves.

We started with Tiny toes in Cambridge when my daughter was 11 months and she has been loving the lessons. All children take time to adjust to the new environment, but that hour of socialisation and learning through music (which she loves listening and dancing to anyway) is really making a difference. We are already booked for the new term in September and cannot wait.
K. C.
Absolutely FANTASTIC!! My little girl started in Sketty when she was only 6 months old, all the teachers are kind and patient with the children and encourage them to participate (they even smile and carry on when the little ones wander off and cause mischief elsewhere, a credit to their professionalism)
The whole company are really accommodating and when we moved house and needed to change which class we went to there was no problem and they tried to fit us in as soon as possible!
Since starting Ballet my little girls confidence has grown and she cannot wait to go on a Saturday morning. She loves dancing and moving to the music and I can't believe how quickly she is developing.
In short amazing, enthusiastic teachers with a passion for dance and encouraging children, definitely time to sign up if you're thinking about it!
Thanks Tiny Toes!!!

My daughter has been attending Tiny Toes Ballet since July 2017. She is now 21 months old and she loves it. I have already signed up for next year classes and will continue to do so. The girls who run it are lovely and very patient. They make it fun for all.

My theee year old daughter absolutely loves attending her Tiny Toes ballet classes. Each term the theme is magical and captivating allowing the children to use their imaginations and be taken on a journey using dance tailored to their ages and abilities. There is absolutely no pressure and even if your child likes to ‘freestyle’ on occasions as mine certainly does they are still made to feel special and are praised for their enthusiasm. Fully recommended for both budding future ballet dancers and children who simply love to learn and socialise.
G. C.
My daughter has loved her Tiny Toes lessons. She has grown so much in confidence since starting them. It's not just the lessons, its the added experience of performing in shows which is so brilliant. Huge thank you to Miss Daisy and Miss Sarah
K. L.
Absolutely love Tiny Toes Ballet. My little girl had been a member for years now and I couldn't imagine her spending a Saturday any other way than with Miss Vikki. The shows are amazing and all the team are utterly fantastic! I only wish they did it for adults!! A***********
S. M. J.
Such a brilliant class, the teachers are fantastic at engaging the children. My little girl is often quite quiet in group settings but this class has and continues to bring out her confidence and she cannot wait to go every Saturday. The classes have always been fun, filled with themes and props and the learning is done in a fun way through song and movement and my little girl loves showing me her “good toes”. I couldn’t recommend enough.

Love going to tiny toes ballet almost as much as my daughters, both have gone since they were babies and their confidence has grown so much! There are different themes each term with different resources e.g costumes and musical instruments and it’s also very educational too and teaches children how to socialise and things like turn taking etc. As a former ballet dancer and primary teacher I can fully appreciate the effort and imagination that goes into each lesson! Pure magic!
A. L.
I could not rate Tiny toes enough they are fantastic. The teachers are skilled, friendly and so accommodating to the needs of both parent and child. My daughter has attended since one years old, I have watched her grow and learn so much in such a short space of time. She has made so many new friends and thinks the world of the teachers. They become so familiar with the children in the class and take the time to get to know them which is just lovely. My daughter is very shy and nervous and from her first session crying and upset too afraid to leave my side she is now more than happy to dance around, participate and enjoy classes this thanks to the hard work and constant positivity that is shared through the classes. It makes me emotional to see her confidence growing and to see her developing new skills and knowledge. There is lots of colour and with the use of props such as instruments, scarves, tiaras and so much more. The show is also such an uplifting emotional journey watching your baby on stage with her friends and tutors- I didn't realise how familiar and how like a second family everyone is. As a mum I sometimes feel a bit nervous walking into children's groups and new places but I instantly felt at home as the environment is so easy going and non judgemental all abilities are welcome and every child is made to feel special, valued and important. There are holiday sessions, a sparkle charity ball and summer activities so there is never a dull moment. If anyone was thinking about signing their child up I would definitely try out Tiny toes. Thank you so much Miss Vicki, Miss Daisy and Miss Amy who have been/are Harriet's role models and
super stars she adores you all 🖤🖤🖤 x
V. P.
My Granddaughter joined Tiny Toes and she absolutely loves it. She attends a Thursday and Saturday class and is taught by Miss Charlotte and Miss Rachel who are so lovely and work really well with the children, keeping them engaged. The classes are so much fun, I would recommend you try it. Thank you :)

Where to start... Grace started at around 18 months old and is now 3 and she loves it! I'm actually quite amazed how well she's picked up certain aspects and even the terminology that's used. She loves going and I love watching .... I did enjoy taking part while she was small especially as she can be a very shy child but I have watched her come into her own over the months and it makes me unbelievably proud. After 6 weeks off for the summer she couldn't wait to go back, we went to a summer holiday workshop which she thoroughly enjoyed (we both did) and every week she was asking if we were going back. Even after a lengthy break she was straight back to it Saturday afternoon and really getting involved she's always happy with how she thinks she's done..., as am I!
Miss Vicky is an absolute gem, always smiling and really connects with the children. She's so helpful and thoughtful, a truly wonderful teacher.
Highly recommend to anyone and I have had 2 friends join with their daughters on the back of my endless praise about Tiny toes ballet.
Thoroughly enjoyed the last 2 years (coming close to) and can't wait for the many years to come
L. J.
My 2 year old daughter loves Tiny Toes ballet and especially Miss Vicky. This is her second term and she has really come one, she’s learning the positions and enjoys each lesson. It’s also helping with building her confidence
D. L.
Our daughter has attended Tiny Toes classes since September and she absolutely loves them. Each morning she counts down the days until shes going to ballet again. The teachers are so brilliant and we are really happy with Tiny Toes. Thank you.
E. J.
My daughter Mabli attends the Alltwen class with Miss Danni and absolutely loves it!! I first started taking her to the lessons when she was 18months old and was dubious at first, not sure what a child of this age could learn from ballet but I was so wrong! Tiny Toes has taught her about musicality, rhythm, and to participate with a group. Now she is a little older she has now started learning some dance e.g. marching, gallops and good toes of course!
Miss Danni is brilliant with all of the children, she is very encouraging and patient whilst also ensuring she engages with each of the children. She also makes the lesson lots of fun, Mabli loves Miss Danni!

Miss Sonia's classes are such fun and so much more. My daughter has learned a lot and I've seen her confidence grow from attending this class. Miss Sonia notices every little bit of progress each child makes every week and treats them all as the marvelous little individuals they are. These classes really are something special. Lots to hold the children's attention and lots for them to learn.
L. M.
I would recommend these classes.
My daughter attends tap & ballet on a Friday with Miss Vicky (& sometimes Miss Daisy) she absolutely enjoys the classes & admires the teachers.
The classes are set at a very good standard & the teachers are welcoming, professional & friendly.

My daughter loves going to ballet, she gets very excited to go. She enjoyed the teddies bear picnic, and has made new friends as well. Ballet has helped Megan grow in confidence and is doing very well.

My little girl is very shy - I tried her with a few other ballet classes and she would not leave my side. So I couldn't believe it when she started with Tiny Toes - she went straight in as she was welcomed and made to feel secure straight away. She has been going now since the spring and she has blossomed in confidence - she adores Miss Daisy and Miss Emma and she eagerly anticipates her classes every week. Thank you xxx

Joining Tiny Toes ballet in Haverfordwest has been one of the best and most rewarding things I have done with my daughter.
She started at 2 and a half and now age 4 has developed ( at least in her own world ) into a Prima Ballerina!
Her social interaction with children outside her nursery is a joy to watch and she adores her teacher.
Miss Sonia is amazing, I truly believe that she has found her vocation in life! We as parents and grandparents are still in awe of the professional way the children performed in their Summer show of The Gruffalo- it was an incredible feat of logistics and a master class in nurturing these little people.
Miss Sonia led from the fore and we are very grateful to her for it.
Our love affair with Tiny Toes continues in leaps and bounds - or in 'step kisses' as daughter number 2 has now started attending her own class too much to the delight of her big proud sister!
Thank you to you all for your fabulous programme each term, we love it. 💕

Tiny toes ballet is absolutely fab!. I found it really difficult to find something to do with my daughter on the weekends as my son goes to football, but this was perfect!. At the age of 1.5, I did wonder if she would concentrate (which she doesn’t) but that didn’t matter in class and Miss Sonia is so supportive of this, telling me her concentration will come. I also worried that the class might be too ‘ballet focussed’. It’s not!. It also educational, getting children to count, name objects and animals etc but still practising dance moves. Really good class, and absolutely fab teacher!. Miss Sonia has the patience of a saint 😇
A. M.
My little lady is still loving these classes. She brings what she learns home and i really think its helped her coordination and focus when learning new things!
And when my little girl was nervous about something (its was a cute puppet might i add!) miss sonia was really easy to approach on the subject and ensured my little girl was comfortable.

My daughter's have attended Tiny Toes Ballet, since the doors first opened in 2011. My daughter was only 10 months old and has looked forward to every class for the past 6 years. Over the years I have observed how each lesson is tailored to suit different age groups and help develop vital social, creative, or-ordination and imaginative skills. Each term has a different theme - from Angelina Ballerina, Circus performer, exploring the deep blue sea, attending a teddy's bear picnic to an adventure to outer space and much much more! As each term is different they is no receptiveness - in which the ballerina's do not get bored. It is fascinating to see how the themes entwine into ballet elements. I have seen both girls flourish from a baby sitting on the mat shaking their maracas to 'good toes naughty toes' to plies, pirouettes and arabesques. I particularly love the end of terms shows, where family members can watch of what they have done over the term. The ballerina's also love this, as they get a chance to perform in front of loved ones.

I have been raving about Tiny Toes since my daughter Ivy started attending in 2012; she is now 5 and a half and in the 'Spinners' class and still loves coming to ballet every single week.
Ivy has had opportunities not usually available to children her age, by accessing fun and playful dance lessons which are based on foundation phase learning. Miss Emma puts together lessons which incorporate a wide variety of skills which are appropriate to each stage in your child's development - all through dance which gives Ivy a chance to express herself in one of her favourite ways. She has also taken part in two ballet shows in a real theatre which were both absolutely amazing - not many 5 year olds can say that!
We have attended classes and workshops delivered by a number of the Tiny Toes teachers, and I can honestly say that the standard is consistently high and the children are supported and enjoy themselves thoroughly every time.
I feel so lucky that we found Tiny Toes when we did. Ivy has made friends (as have I!), learned new skills and grown in confidence which have all helped her with challenges like starting school and moving house. I would highly recommend it to any parent.

My daughter has been with tint toes since she was 18 months and is now 4. She loves every moment and is always excited for her next class. i have watched her grow in confidence both as a dancer and a little girl and this is with the help of the tiny toes team. well done you're doing a fantastic job!

My daughter has been attending classes since the age of 2 (now nearly 5) and really enjoys herself. The Teacher Miss Becky is lovely and Miss Lauren is also always lovely and friendly.
K. E.
A lovely, laid back ballet course for my daughter. When she started at two, they learned basic skills like balancing and rhythm. Now that she is three in the next class up, they are still doing that but with proper ballet terms like plie and first position! She loves every second of it, and her teacher is wonderful. She loves the themes, too! Disney, weather, teddies... A bit frustrating when you pay online as there is a £1 booking fee, but I guess this is standard.
K. C.
Tiny toes ballet gave my daughter confidence, rhythm and a love for dance she will always have. The teachers are just fantastic and the lessons are so engaging.
S. G.
Daisy has gained so much confidence and poise as a result of attending Tiny Toes.
The teachers are patient and kind and always very positive with the children. Excellent and afforable way for your child to learn dancing and confidence.

This is my daughter’s favourite activity of the week. Becky gets excited every week and she loves the teachers. I’ve also made some friends through the classes as it’s a family like environment where you can get involved. The creativity and attention to detail shown from the teachers is just the sort of thing that I want Becky being involved in while she is still young. I think it’s the best baby class I have ever been too. Thanks!
G. D.
