We used Kelly's for our wedding and everything started well enough. The instructor was friendly and we signed up for a course of lessons and they got us through the first dance. However, I can't recommend Kelly's to others mainly because of the actions of the owner, we mistakenly made a £50 overpayment for our lessons, to which the owner admitted to, I was quite relaxed about this as he said we could sort it out at a later date, when our lessons concluded, I emailed him asking for our £50 back and was met with radio silence, I don't ever think we'll get our overpayment back. On top of that he also took an aggressive tone with me regarding the rescheduling of another lesson which I also found patronising (like another reviewer), it's done now and we managed to attend all of our other lessons, but my experience left a bit of a sour taste. Overall, good teachers and instructors, poor customer service, if I had to sum it up. EDIT: After raising this review the owner did get in touch with us promptly and rectified the situation with an apology and a refund of the money.

We are glad we found this place and can recommend it if you want to learn how to ballroom dance from scratch. Keith and Kornelia are friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I took a half a dozen dance lessons for our wedding dance. Not only did we learn social foxtrot we had a lot of fun along the way. Keith and Kornelia are fantastic teachers and are able to find the dancer within! Like any great teacher they know how everyone one learns differently and are able to find ways to let your body, mind and partner to work together. I would highly reccommend Kellys Dance Studio and love that it is a family business.

Danced here for 3 years, Keith the owner has great team of teachers. If you ever fancy learning ballroom I highly recommend this place. They teach kids to adults, all sorts of dance styles taught. You can even go into competitions. They regularly hold social evenings and club events through out the year too.

Outstanding! My partner Liz and I had never been anywhere near formal dancing; we “bop” and that’s it. We had to attend classes at Kelly’s Dance Studio because of a school’s annual ball; the children were being taught by Keith and Kornelia at Kelly’s but Liz was going to have to dance with her son at the ball, so I went along to Saturday sessions to be her learning partner. We thought it would be dull – waltz, foxtrot and cha-cha-cha, and I was particularly not keen. And… we loved it. Keith did most of the classes. He is a born teacher. Dancing together properly is huge fun and really loving and rewarding. He was patient, funny, nicely firm (on one day he had 21 couples to cope with!) and just excellent at helping us get it right. A thoroughly good egg. The school dance is over (and the kids were brilliant), but we are signing up for more. I cannot recommend Keith and his wife highly enough. MR KEITH is a lovely person and a great teacher , me and my group do bollywood dancing. He gave us all the support for countless weeks of hiring his wonderful studio. He went out of his way to even have a word in front of my team when they wernt doing so well near the time of competition. With his help we came third place out of 60 teams in The SSE ARENA WEMBLYand big thank you to him and his wife. Raj and noeline
