Andrew is fantastic, never felt so relaxed with a dentist ever. They go above and beyond for your care. 100% just need to add as I've not long left there and the receptionists are as good as the dentist's . Really friendly, make you feel welcome. I never ever thought I would put a positive review on a dental practice. But my fears are more or less gone. I now look forward to going. Very happy indeed. Well done to Ocean Dentalcare .

My husband and I originally registered with Christopher Manlow when we moved to Bournemouth in 2000 and he was with the Boots practice in town. We were so impressed with his work and approach to his patients, that we followed him to Ocean when he opened the practice. Christopher is the best Dentist we have ever had, not only for his professional skills, but he is always aware of your comfort during treatment. The icing on the cake is that he’s an extremely nice caring person, and these qualities are reflected in all the team at Ocean. We have no hesitation in recommending Ocean Dentalcare to anyone requiring a first class dental service.

No question is too awkward or unanswerable, procedures are carried out with care and all staff members carry a friendly demeanor. The one single detractor is that one of my teeth was loosened slightly after an extraction. Apart from that and the high price, I cannot complain. You get what you pay for.

First visit indoors since March (I rate regular dental care more important than hairdressers). All very safe and felt comfortable - wait outside with face mask until appointment, hand gel on entering, everything cleared from reception area, staff wearing head covering, masks, face shields and disposable gloves and aprons. Kelly, hygienist, explained new system. No mouth wash but nurse did an excellent job with mouth vac. She was also busy re-cleaning everything for next appointment before I had left the room.

I have been treated by Chris Manlow on many occasions and can highly recommend him as a dentist. I recently saw Chris to have a temporary filling replaced. He did an excellent job, building on an old worn tooth in order to replicate the shape of the original tooth. The colour match is perfect. An injection was required and Chris made this virtually pain-free , by slowly inserting the needle.

Andrew has always been kind and professional: a gentleman in the true sense, and has always worked assiduously towards finding the best solution for whatever given problem. I went to Ocean Dentalcare for a second opinion and as as a result saved me unnecessary dental treatment. Right... I just want to tell my story and i just want an option. I think it was April when i went for treatment at Ocean Dental . The doctor was amazing and did a great job. In the next 5 days I felt a sharp pain in the same tooth and i booked an appointment to check if everything is ok. My appointment was booked with different doctor and he explained to me that everything is fine i just need to wait a but more because just the treated area is still rough. The appointment was exactly 2 min. And he said that I don’t have to pay anything for that. He even came out to the reception with me and the lady receptionist confirmed that I don’t have to pay anything. After two months I received a call saying that I owe them 60£ for the 2 min appointment. I don’t think that’s my fault especially when the doctor and the receptionist said I don’t owe anything. And I don’t think it’s fair to chase clients two months later because the clinic changed their mind and now i owe them payment . And again I don’t mind paying them because the doctors are professionals and amazing but I’m just saying that this situation is not really good on clients. So what do i need to do next? Thank you! I had a very comprehensive first appointment checkup with xrays all around the mouth which lasted some 45 minutes. Dr Pugsley clearly explained the teeth that needed attention and the cost of putting them right. He then sent me a clear email detailing the costs with a diagram layout of the teeth. The only puzzling thing is that the diagram showed my right teeth on the left and the left teeth on the right. Maybe it is the curious way they work! Although they have not yet put drill to tooth thus far I would recommend them.

I went to see the Dentist and Hygienist on Tuesday 5th March. Saw the Dentist, had usual consultation for my dental problem. All very professional, informative and friendly. This was the first time I saw the hygienist as my usual hygienist does work on Tuesdays. The cleaning process was thorough as usual. However there are couple of procedures I felt a bit uncomfortable. Before the local anaesthetic injection, I had not been given superficial anaesthetics but was given after I asked for it. During the cleaning process, the 'wash up' water running down to my oesophagus, I had to swallow the water a few times. I then questioned the efficiency of the suction pump and she changed my head position. Less water went down but I still had to swallow. This swallow action is the first ever experience of my years dental visits. I felt somewhat uncomfortable about it.
