The team at Shelley Manor Dental were just the nicest people! They made visiting the dentist an enjoyable experience where at many other dentists it’s something you don’t look forward to. The dentist was so gentle, caring and considerate when working on my teeth. She was also really knowledgeable and helpful with any questions or concerns I had. I have no hesitation to recommend this dentist to everyone, first class service and experience from start to finish!

An excellent dental practice. I am so happy I signed on here. I have a much brighter whiter smile than I have ever had and a recent extraction of a damaged tooth was carried out completely painlessly. This was later followed by an implant to replace the missing tooth. Franco Romero was meticulous and very gentle in the fitting of the implant and Tim Doyle expertly finished fitting the crown later. The whole experience is calm, kind, gentle and friendly. The quality of the dentistry is first class.

I booked an emergency appointment this week and managed to get a cancellation 45 minutes later. Having been too scared to go to the dentist for a few years, I was really nervous. Ended up needing to have a wisdom tooth removed there and then, and was made to feel calm and reassured by the staff. Im a terribly nervous patient. I rang to book an emergency appointment (pretty much in tears) and the receptionist was absolutely lovely and put me at ease straight away. The dentist tim was very kind and helpful. He was positive about my sorry state of teeth, and very informative. I had quite a few questions and he was able to answer them all and gave me a great plan going forward. Everyone I had an encounter with at the practice made my experience much less daunting. The prices are fair, and even a little bit cheaper compared to surrounding practices. I believe there are payment plans available. The treatment you need is given to you on a plan, with a breakdown of costs which is very helpful. Thank you Shelley manor dental and I'm feeling optimistic about this new journey to better teeth.

It was easy to book an appointment with Clare, and the appointment was kept despite these troubling times. Clare was wonderful, and performed a classic scale and polish, and the results were outstanding. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be returning.

I've been with Shelley Manor Dental now for around four years since I came down from London to the Bournemouth area. I had a superb dentist and hygienist in London but I have to say that this practice tops that. The equipment Tim and the team uses is cutting edge and the skill and expertise in the team is first rate. During the consultation my concerns were addressed fully with understanding, patience and sound advice. I was advised to visit the Hygienist. Today (Wed) Hygienist was thorough and most of all gentle and understanding. I'm a coward and as a result had neglected my teeth over some years. Tim Doyle is not only first class in what he does, he is a good communicator and is especially concerned about the needs and feelings of his patients. Also the support staff are friendly and supportive, including Sharon who runs the office. I have come to Tim from an NHS dental practice, but have not found much difference in charges. His practice is modern and very well equipped. I really like being able to see any x-ray details, immediately available and while you sit in the chair. Went to make an appointment as suffering tooth pain and very scared of dentists due to past history, haven't been to one for 8 years! Had to cancel twice due to circumstances but was reassured by Nula and not pressured or made to feel awkward. Day came for a filling in my wisdom tooth and Tim found a gum infection. He took an x-ray and showed me and said that I needed the tooth out. I was petrified! His dental nurse and himself were really reassuring and I had the tooth out, without any fuss, so quick! It took a number calls before finding Shelley Manor Dental for an Emergency Dental Appointment, not easy in these COVID-19 days. They offered me a consultation within 3 hours and I must say I am very impressed with professionalism and understanding all the staff have shown me. They managed to reassure me and find out the cause of my emerency. Treatment is ongoing but the initial consultation was enough to eleviate the immediate issue I was having alowing time for a thorough resolution.

I visited Shelly Manor Dental in January for a session with the hygienist as I hadn’t been for a while. I normally go to a local NHS practice but thought I would try Shelly Manor based on the good things I had heard from a friend. Firstly their practice is very modern, professional and welcoming. Something that is important to me as I have a bit of a fear of going to the dentist! I hadn’t seen a hygienist for while so there was a lot of staining from tea and tartar to remove, Lucy the hygienist did a great job in getting rid of all of this and gave me some good advice on dental hygiene to help maintain my teeth and gums. After my first visit I can safely say it’s the best service and treatment I have received from a hygienist and will definitely be returning in the future. I have also booked in to see Tim Doyle the Dentist there for a check-up next time I come in.

My unique points about Dr Tim Doyle and his Shelley Manor Dental Practice. Never once in 7 years has he caused me pain, not even with root canal treatments. His surgery is clean always. He uses technologically advanced equipment. There is an atmosphere of professional respect and close, confident cooperation, and the ambiance is welcoming, calm and relaxed. During my recent comprehensive programme of restorative treatment over a 3 month period, I was kept informed and fully engaged as a participant where my choices or input were required. This treatment is complex and technically challenging. It required several short unscheduled adjustments, and I was often given same-day appointments at short notice, which minimised disruption to my personal schedule. After many decades, I now have a young man's mouth of good-looking and effective dentition. I consider this treatment is a complete success, which is a continuing source of satisfaction and pleasure.

After going through many other dentists in the Bournemouth and Southbourne area, I have found none that can come close to the service and quality of workmanship provided by Tim and the rest of the practice. Very impressed with Tim's workmanship on my gnashers when I was a patient where he worked at the previous practice in Ringwood some years ago when he was a mere slip of a lad. Therefore I was delighted to be probably one of his 1st victims at Shelley Manor! SCARED OF THE DENTIST? VISIT DR TIM DOYLE AT SHELLEY MANOR DENTAL As someone who had struggled with an irrational fear of the dentist since childhood, I was delighted to discover Shelley Manor Dental, a private dental practice owned and run by Dr Tim Doyle and his wife, Nuala. Based in Shelley Manor Medical Centre, with easy parking and modern consulting rooms, this practice offers a range of services including those provided by a wonderfully sensitive hygienist named Eddie. On every visit, I have been made to feel at ease. I am rarely kept waiting for more than a minute or two (important when your instinct is to run away!), and I'm always greeted with a warm welcome. Especially from Natalie, the lovely Dental Nurse. Tim's calm, open and friendly approach makes it easy to relax once 'in the chair'. He knows his stuff, explains everything clearly and his obvious enthusiasm for his subject is infectious. Who knew that photos of an upper right 7 could be so interesting? I will shortly be moving to Bath but, having found this gem of a dental surgery after ten years of searching for someone who did not make me feel foolish, I fully intend to remain a patient of Shelley Manor Dental for a long time to come. Thank you Tim, Nuala, Natalie and Eddie for a first-class service.

I travelled down from the East Midlands for an appointment at Shelley Manor which was recommended to me by my boyfriend because I couldn`t get an appointment with my local dentist, |I have been delighted and very happy with the service I have had and will willingly go back again and again, Thankyou to Dr. Tim and his team for a very comfortable and reliable visit.

It was ok. It seemed as it was thorough enough but having had airflow done before elsewhere, I expected my smile to be a lot more brighter than it was with Shelley Dental which is a shame.
