As someone who is extremely anxious and was nervous about my dental procedure, the staff were brilliant at making me feel relaxed. The environment is really calming and clean. The procedures are done efficiently but with excellent quality. I was quite nervous about sedation but I felt at ease with the staff and it was really relaxing, didn't feel a thing and sedation actually felt quite nice! Would highly recommend this place for any dental treatment, and especially the use of sedation!! They were also great at supporting me after an initial appointment, plus I found that booking an appointment was effortless!

Was so anxious to have my wisdom teeth out but right from my arrival staff were so friendly and attentive! The dentist I saw and his dental nurse were so friendly, had some good banter and even asked me what music I wanted during my extraction! Everything was explained clearly and they talked me through the procedure and what happens next! Honestly couldn’t recommend this clinic enough especially if you’ve had traumatic experiences or anxiety towards dentists before.

After a very traumatic time getting to my appointment, Bristol was in total gridlock. They were very understanding after being 30 minutes late. The reception was lovely and polite. Dr Skerratt was chatty and put me at ease, tooth extraction was very quick and painless.

I had to have a tooth extracted and because we didn't know if it was going to be straightforward or not it was suggested by my dentist that I should be sedated. My dentist wouldn't have been able to cut the gum and do stitches if it was required so sent me to the Bristol Dental Anaesthetic Clinic. They were very friendly and the dentist there explained exactly what he was going to do. Luckily it was a straight forward extraction and I left with information in case I had any problems but these weren't needed, everything has been fine.

A great place for nervous patients with a dental phobia, because unlike many other practices, sedation is provided. Sympathetic and understanding staff who spend time explaining your treatment and putting you at ease. Would definitely recommend!

Really great experience. Not a big fan of the dentist but from start to finish it was great. The reception team were friendly and welcoming and made sure I had all the information I needed. Appointments were running 5 mins late (which didn’t bother me at all and seemed normal) the manager came and apologised to me which I thought was nice. He had a little chat about my appointment which helped again at putting me at ease. The dentist explained everything to me and everything went really well. Will 100% making them my regular dentist. Great work to all the team!

Lovely dental practice, with caring staff who looked after me from the moment I set foot in the door. As a nervous patient, I was anxious about seeing the dentist. But the receptionist, the dentist, and the practice manager himself, went out of their way to reassure me and make me comfortable. I would not hesitate to return!

I took my mum to have her 2nd molar removed, she was due to be under general anaesthetic and she was incredibly nervous - even days before the appointment. From the moment we walked in, she was put at ease and looked after straight away even by the receptionist. Dr Kate Leeming and her nurse Naomi performed the procedure and we’re absolutely amazing. They calmed her down and gave her all the reassurance she needed to hear (she was probably one of the most nervous patients!). We would definitely recommend anyone coming here for the outstanding treatment they provide to patients. A massive thank you to all the staff.

I was referred by my dentist for NHS treatment to have a tooth out under local anaesthetic. That was done this morning. The service was excellent. The dentist Ian Skerratt was very friendly and completely professional, explaining beforehand what he would do and with guidance afterwards. All the staff were very helpful. As a dental phobic, I was terrified about the need for a molar extraction and filling in the tooth next to it. My local dentist referred me for sedation and 6 days later, the procedures were successfully and painlessly carried out. I heartily recommend sedation dentistry at this clinic, I knew very little about the filling, nothing at all about the extraction and felt totally cared for by the dentist Katherine Leeming and her assistant. I walked out 10 minutes after it was all completed and have no pain, swelling or bruising the day after. Thank you for the best dental experience ever.

I had a molar extracted today by doctor Helen,as a anxious person by nature I had worked myself up a lot and was really nervous about the procedure. Helen was really lovely and chatty and put me at ease instantly,I can honestly say the only discomfort I felt was a pinch when the IV was inserted into my hand. Had a wisdom tooth extraction under sedation, lady dentist very nice, very quick, no stitches needed, no problems after. Took the kids swimming the day after! Would definitely go back. Receptionist not very welcoming...but after that it was absolutely fine. Don't be nervous, they look after you well and really put me at ease.

I’ve been here a year ago. I was referred here, because of my dental phobia and my teeth were in a very bad condition. I am extremely pleased until this day. I was under sadation, and do not remember most of the things. They are extremely professional and did not rush anything, explained everything before the sedation and followed up on my recovery. I had 4 extractions and 11 fillings. If you need to remove a teeth, they are the best for sure.

Brilliant staff and very welcoming from the time you step through the door, they take great care in their customers and make you feel as comfortable as possible, went in yesterday for IV sedation and as someone who has a phobia of dentists or any dental work in general I started to have a small panic attack and the dental staff were amazing and very comforting and patient with me and after calming down, the whole time I was in there I felt safe and taken care of and the dental work was painless and couldn’t be thankful enough for making it a pleasant experience, 10/10 recommend for any dental sedation needs 😊 thank you Bristol dental anaesthetic clinic 😊

Had to be refered here after a botched extraction and was absolutly dreading it, however what one dentist made feel like the hardest thing in the world, Bristol Dental Anaesthetic made feel like a casual walk in the park. Super friendly dentists, no pain, quick and clear aftercare. Can't complain.

As an extremely nervous patient, having a tooth taken out is just about the worst thing I can imagine having done - but I needn't have worried. I had two teeth extracted under sedation and have no recollection of the the procedure whatsoever. The dentist and assistant were fantastic. I was given adequate time to rest afterwards before heading home, and this was easily the least stressful experience I've ever had at the dentist. Do I recommend having a tooth taken out? No. Do I recommend these guys to take a tooth out? Absolutely.

Had a wisdom tooth extraction with sedation and as a very anxious patient Dr Leeming put me so at ease, explained in full what was going to happen before anything started and she made me feel so comfortable in her hands and even made me laugh before the sedation took affect :) for anyone else worried about sedation it is BRILLIANT, I felt no pain at all, infact I think I was fast asleep through the first half. Had to come here for an extraction 2 days ago, staff are all excellent and make you feel at ease with the situation; I have a massive phobia of needles and in all honesty I can't even recall having an injection, was all over in 2 minutes. 😃 Would highly recommend this clinic to all people, especially if you are a bit nervous of needles etc.

Most amazing dental clinic definitely 5 star. My second visit last year to have a wisdom tooth extraction. A week ago to have an upper back molar extracted. The staff are wonderful from the receptionist to the dental surgeon totally put patients at ease nothing is too much trouble the best part of all you know nothing about it !! A few moments to register and sign the consent form A few moments in the waiting room, the anaesthetic came to fetch me into the surgery, popped in the anaesthetic I knew nothing else, 15 mins later I was with my friend in the recovery room and in no time at all checked A1 ok and was able to leave! Thank you from the bottom of my heart no need to be afraid just go for it AMAZING I promise you xxx

I was referred by my dentist to have a troublesome wisdom tooth pulled out at this clinic. I was very anxious about the whole procedure but it was a much better experience than I thought it wouldd be. the tooth was out within a couple of minutes and I didn't feel any pain whatsoever. I highly recommend this practice to phobic people.

Everyone here is so lovely and patient. I had a tooth out under sedation, I came in early to have numbing cream put on the injection site as I am nervous of needles. I cannot even remember having it out! Would recommend to anyone nervous of the dentist. Professional but friendly atmosphere

After a horrific experience a long time ago as a child I had to be sedated 20 years ago for fillings. 20 years of worrying about this day coming meant a sedation was mandatory. I freaked out and James and Hayley were fantastic. As far as I'm concerned they teleported my two fillings into my face; I have no recollection of them going near my mouth at all. I am beyond delighted because I am a 10/10 scale nervous patient and have no level of control over it. Thank you so much for looking after me!

The really cheerful professional dentist was a lovely change, who was nice inspite of me being short and one worded from nervousness. Mouth feels pretty good considering the teeth removal, so he did a good job.

I took my grandson to southmead hospital as he had very bad tooth pain swollen face ect after 3hour Waite they told him to go to the dental hospital in town .they told him that he must be there by 8 30 am at the latest as they see the first 10 people so he went by taxi only to be told that they have changed their system.and he would need an appointment.but they didn't have any for about a week .I phoned the Anaesthetic clinic they could not have been any nicer he was booked in for that day and taken care of what a fab team of professional people a very Big thank you to them all .
