I had a wonderful experience with Neil and the team at Clifton Dental Studio. I started with Invisalign to straighten my teeth and then had a direct composite veneer placed on one of my teeth due to the tooth being a different size than the one opposite. It was all pain free and I am so happy with my new smile.

Edited: Since this review I immediately received a call from Julie in reception who very quickly booked me into see the dentist Rory. My feedback concerning organising a dental visit has been dealt with promptly and the branch have taken steps to address further concerns raised with communication, especially with the out of hours service and messages translating to the main reception. I’m very happy with how quickly and professionally this has been dealt by Julie and the team. Over bite resolved, further dates to check now organised in a reasonable timeframe. Scans still at an extra cost but further explanation offered as justification. Much happier and as mentioned before, the prior service was outstanding so not to overshadow this. ………….. During the process from introduction to removing my brace was great. There were times when additional costs would creep in from that quoted initially which needed discussion but fixed fairly easily. However aftercare hasn’t been great, it’s really difficult to get in to see the dentist who is very busy and existing clients are often referred to an additional phone service where messages dont get through to the main reception (this has wasted my time twice on travel, where I’ve been outside at 10 minutes past my appointment to then be turned away or asked to wait 2hrs for the next slot - It takes me an hour to get to the dentist). The over bite is still not right and teeth sore but I’m not able to speak to the dentist. Extra costs for scans etc have been mentioned when trying to order a backup night brace. As apparently records are no longer on file - even though it was only 6 months since taking my brace out. Overall not impressed with the after care which has really let down the fantastic service I had pre my braces taken out.

My teeth were horendous and a real challenge for Neil, but his advise and guidance has paid of. Rory regulary adjusted and tweeked my brace to give me a perfect line for Neil to work his magic. . I have my temporary veneers at this stage . I am well excited to have my porceline veneers fitted soon. Completely over the moon . Lovely caring people at this practice.

WELL! I have had an amazing experience with Neil & the team at Clifton dental studio. I was born with a bone condition which made me have a lot of problems with my teeth, I have attended 5 different dentists which included 2 on Harley street but was eventually referred to Neil. I have never been with a dentist that took the time to research my medical situation and really help with what to do for the best and look at a total future plan into what my teeth needed medically an what I wanted cosmetically. They have made sure I am pain free and worked around my schedule so willingly. I never used to smile as I was conscious of my teeth being not what I wanted and I'm quite a way through my plan with Neil and currently have my temporary smile which I LOVE and can't wait for the permanent even better one! I've also opted to try a implant in a gap a the back of my mouth, again because of my bone condition Neil sourced a slight different material implant that would take to my bone better. so so happy so far.... can't wait for my final result :D

This is a very long overdue review for the treatment I received at Clifton Dental Studio. A few months ago I finished the treatment of having braces fitted to re-align my teeth . Initially I was a little unsure as to whether it was worth the money and effort as my teeth weren't that bad, but after speaking to the team and then feeling confident to go ahead with the treatment, I can easily say it was the best decision I've made for a long time! The results are amazing and I can now smile with my mouth open and actually had to re-learn how to smile! As for the service I received from the team at Clifton Dental Studio it was second to none. From the minute I walked in there, to the end of my treatment two and half years later everyone was AMAZING. The team are highly professional, very friendly and always make the experience as relaxed and comfortable as it could be at any stage of the process. I cannot recommend Clifton Dental Studio enough and my only negative is that since finishing my treatment I don't get to see the team often enough! I visited Clifton Dental Studio to enquire about having a brace to straighten my teeth which were something that I was very self conscious about. The practice was highly recommended by a few friends so I thought I would give it a try. From the moment I walked in I felt so welcome and comfortable, the reception staff are brilliant. After looking over the options that would work well for me I decided to go ahead with the treatment. This wouldn’t have been possible without using the studios finance options which the process was extremely easy and straightforward. I started my treatment with Rory who has always made me feel at ease and comfortable. The treatment has been pain free and I have been well looked after. I am due to have my brace off next week and already I am overwhelmed with the result. As I have a big event Rory and the team have gone above and beyond to try and make it possible for me to have the brace off in time, even by making room in the diary to make my whitening trays to ensure I can have a few whitening sessions also. Hello, I had a sideways bottom front tooth, so my lower teeth were very crowded. I never had braces as a youngster but decided to get something done in my late 20s. I was apprehensive about it but received an excellent service from Clifton Dental Studio and can't believe how well the treatment works. The people there are always professional and friendly. Straight teeth are so much easier to care for as you get older, and now that I'm a mum and time is ever more precious, its great that I never worry about being easily able to keep my teeth clean!

I am positively petrified of dentists and have a VERY low pain threshold! the thought of having a tooth removed filled me with fear. A couple of years ago I had a tooth removed under sedation my fear was that great! Dr Gerrard/Rory at Clifton Dental fitted my brace a few months ago and I was made aware at that stage two teeth would need to be removed in time to get the desired result. I dreaded this appointment and when the day came I nearly cancelled I was so nervous. Rory and the girls were AMAZING. They were all so kind and patient, Laura even held my hand! Rory was super gentle, didn't rush and explained everything. When Clifton Dental promise 'pain free' they really DO mean it! I didn't think it was possible but I really didn't feel a thing. I have another 19 months under the care of Rory & the Clifton Dental team, I can honestly say I look forward to my appointments. Incredibly professional, very caring and always a joy to visit.

My partner had a tooth removal , Dr. Neil Gerrard has been very professional and very patiently assisted my partner. Before the treatment he was in pain as he had an infection , after the treatment he felt no pain at all. More confident with a fresher breath and the most important pain-free after his tooth been removed. We are looking forward for our next appointment as we are really pleased with our first experience with you. I’ve been visiting Clifton Dental Studio for over 10 years now and cannot recommend their services enough. From amazing emergency care, to ongoing aftercare and check ups - all the staff are friendly faces that help make you smile that little bit more confidently! I originally went to Clifton Dental Studio in need of an implant for my front tooth - after being messed around by another dentist I had developed an infection in my jaw and ended up needing a bone graft alongside the implant. All my options were explained clearly and I felt well informed on the progress I could expect to see. I ended up opting for sedation for one of the larger operations which made the experience much smoother sailing and would recommend for anyone on the nervous side because I don’t remember a thing! The final result was a perfect match in terms of colour and size which has made such a difference to my confidence. I’ve since moved away from the area but still visit the clinic for regular hygiene appointments and check ups as I trust Neil and the team more than any other dentist. If I could give move than 5 stars I would!

Best dentist studio in Bristol! I phoned up on Monday morning because of a swollen gum and mild pain. Julie the receptionist was super helpful and I felt like she really listened to my problem and escalated it the clinician team. She phoned me back within an hour and got me booked in for an emergency appointment the following morning as from my symptoms they were worried it might have been something quite serious, which turned out to be. Rory the dentist quickly diagnosed the problem and offered me a solution on the same day! I was very scared but he made me feel at ease and answered all the questions that I had which really helped in accepting the treatment. In every step both him and nurse Jessica made me feel at ease and safe. I really felt taken care of from beginning to end. They delivered on their promise of pain free dental treatment and saved me from what could have easily evolved into a very nasty systemic infection. I felt so grateful for their help. I highly recommend this fantastic studio, they’ve got a great team who delivers great results!

I am a fairly new patient at the Clifton Dental Studio. From my first consultation I found them all very pleasant and helpful. They really looked after me and made me feel very welcome.. I had an NHS dentist prior who basically made me feel unhappy almost as if they didn't care a bit. My bottom teeth in particular had bad plaque and tartar from build up of not looking after them as well as I should have been. I have just completed today my second hygiene appointment with Heather assisted by Ashleigh and I felt very comfortable with them. I am looking forward to my next appointment in the new year. Firstly came to Clifton Dental Studio under recommendations from a friend. I was after a quick treatment process to straighten my smile. Every staff member is welcoming and polite and i was shown a number of treatments possible. Due to wanted a 'quick fix' i went for the six month smile treatment which also was very reasonable in terms of costs in comparison to my previous dentist. Every appointment was brilliant, i couldn't of asked for anything more and i certainly could not find any faults with the treatment process. I’d always hated my smile, but I hated the idea of visiting the dentist even more. A year and a half ago my teeth were incredibly overcrowded and stained from a rather addictive green tea habit. After a trip to America for a friend’s wedding and seeing how perfect everyone’s teeth were, I decided to bite the bullet and bring my teeth up to scratch. I had originally planned on getting a number of quotes as braces can be expensive but after meeting the team at Clifton Dental Studio I decided I didn’t really want to go anywhere else. My anxiety of dentist disappeared after my first treatment and although it may sound odd to say, I actually look forward to my hygiene appointments now! They’re so gentle and always end up so clean and white! The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Working in a customer service role myself, I have very high expectations and they are all just fabulous! I had the traditional train track braces but a white version and they were hardly visible, I felt a lot less self-conscious than I thought I would. After 15 months, I’m now confident with my smile, although they’re not quite perfect (everyone says they are), they’re much better than they were and an even better bonus, I didn’t have to have 4 teeth out to straighten my overcrowding – they widened my smile instead. If someone was hesitant about getting treatment, I’d tell them to just book in and meet with the team and make your decision from there! I highly recommence Clifton Dental Studio.

I have to admit there's been tears in the appointments, but only due to me being scared! Sam and the Team are very empathetic and never make me feel embarrassed or silly. Oh my God what can I say, lets start with telling you how amazing very professional they are. I was recommended by a friend to go and have a chat with them. From the minute I walked into the huge posh house in clifton I new just by the atmosphere it was the place for me. I came to this dentist so anxious at the start of 2016. Each member of the team took the time to make me feel so comfortable and relaxed on my arrrival and throughout my teeth journey. For the last few years my teeth had become darker in colour. I hadn’t been to a dentist in 10 years and probably needed a good service regardless. I’ve always said that I wanted to get teeth whitening at some point but there are so many practices that offer a glowing smile! So, it’s tough to find somewhere that piques your interest. Somewhere you can trust aren’t going to slap you with big bills and just want to be honest. After researching in both London & Bristol for the best practice I came across Clifton Dental Studio and it seemed I was onto a winner. Multiple accolades to show their experience and success. Exactly what I was looking for! It was a natural progression just to enquire initially – the first call I had was really helpful, going through all the options I had at my disposal. I booked in for a consultation and was obviously slightly nervous but the girls on the front desk calmed me down with their bubbly personalities and white smiles! The consultation itself was very simple and informative. I asked for an honest opinion and I wasn’t over sold on the top enlighten whitening they had to offer – I was actually told that the cheaper option was still just as sufficient but offering a guarantee of whiteness swayed me to go for the best they had to offer ! I saw a hygienist a week later who gave my teeth a really good clean up with loads of positive advice on maintaining healthy teeth & gums which I am doing every single day now. It’s genuinely changing my life and wish I did it a lot sooner. Don’t be afraid of it, you only get one set of nashers so don’t neglect them! Dentist chairs are the bane of most of our lives but the whole experience so far has got me excited to come back in for further appointments and to see the whole team again. Now, they will be my dentists for as long as I’m in the West Country!

After damaging my front tooth many years ago (in my early twenties) I had it crowned at an NHS dentist. This dental work lasted some time until an infection in the jaw bone required an apicoectomy. This procedure resolved the problem and saved the crown. I had this procedure done a couple of times over the years until the infection refused to clear. I was faced with yet another procedure to try and save the tooth but as the crown's quality was deteriorating and the surrounding teeth were no longer matching the original work, I decided to do some research and found Dr Gerrard at Clifton Dental Studio. Following an in-depth review and history I was advised to have the tooth removed and consider an implant, advice which I was confident with and followed. The tooth was removed and I was given a temporary denture to use while the infection was clearing and the gum was healing. I received bone graft surgery to enable an effective and secure implant site – whilst this treatment was unpleasant, I didn't suffer any pain or discomfort (apart from the expected recovery process). The procedure was explained and my questions were answered fully, instilling me with confidence at the quality of care I was receiving. From extraction to the final implant, the treatment lasted approximately 15 months. Throughout the whole time and all the various recovery stages, the quality of treatment and care I received was exemplary, I cannot fault it. I even turned up on a number of occasions, fearful during some of the recovering stages and I was instantly seen to and reassured. In my view, the results are outstanding – my confidence in my smile has been restored. I have looked back at old photos and cannot believe I didn't look to do this sooner. I have since had further treatment on other teeth - treatment which I would have left had I not found a dentist that I had such confidence with. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Gerrard and his team at Clifton Dental Studio
