Such a lovely, clean, friendly and professional dental surgery. I always feel so well looked after by Yasmin and the entire practice staff. I used to become really nervous before dental appointments, but moving to Evolve has been the best decision for me and my teeth. The staff are lovely and their attention to detail is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble to do or explain. Even the mouth rinse tastes good! I highly recommend them. Keep up the good work.

Having held a life long fear of the dentists and leaving behind the only one I'd ever felt comfortable with when i moved to Bristol, I was very nervous about my first appointment at Evolve - but, I had no need to be!! From the moment you walk through the door all of the staff you meet are incredibly welcoming. Yasmin the dentist is fabulous - warm, friendly, reassuring - needed for nervous patients like myself. She is also skilled, and I am very pleased with the work she has done :) I have no qualms or fears about going for my standard 6 monthly appointment now. Their dental plan is very good value for money too! Definitely recommend Evolve for nervous and non-nervous people alike.

I moved to Evolve dentistry when I moved into the area some years ago now, from day one the patient care has been first class from everyone. I have had the pleasure of dealing with many of the team and nothing is too much trouble and they are all extremely friendly. This dentist is absolutely incredible. Immaculate service. Pain relief was the best I’ve ever had and I spent a total of four hours in the chair across two visits. As a very nervous patient I was completely put at my ease. I can honestly say that it was the smoothest and most pain-free visit to a dentist imaginable. Carol knew exactly what she was doing and I felt totally at peace throughout my amalgam removal procedures. I could not recommend this dentist more highly. Emma lowe was recommended to me by a professional colleague when I was looking for a skilled and caring hygienist. I was delighted when I discovered I could see Emma for hygiene services at Evolve Dentistry without necessarily needing to change Dentists. I am very happy with my current dentist I see in Bristol and did not want to change. I understand seeing a hygienist in this way is called “Direct Access”. Having now visited Emma on 2 occasions I can understand why she was recommended. When considering previous experiences with some other hygienists I would say she is a skilled health care professional, understanding where some deeper cleaning is necessary but also lighter when appropriate. Not only did she utilise various devices/instrumentation to clean under the gum line but also to remove any staining from my teeth with a timely and efficient technique. Discomfort was kept to a minimum and my teeth also appear ‘whiter’ after the visit. Her communication is also excellent. She has great rapport with the dental nurse assisting her and they both work in a calm and assured manner. Thank you Evolve Dentistry.

I moved to Portishead 2 years ago and hadn’t been to the dentist for some time because of COVID. (Before the pandemic I went to an NHS dentist every 6 months. ) Needless to say, I couldn’t find an NHS dentist and was recommended Evolve. I must say I was reluctant to pay for dental treatment but it didn’t seem excessively expensive for a check up. What a brilliant check up it was! So professional so thorough. I felt after the visit that I’d never really had a proper check up before. I needed a deep filling and all the options were carefully explained to me. The filling cost £200 but the exceptional skill of the dentist probably saved me a fortune (and a lot of pain) of having to have root canal treatment in the future. I have just been for my third visit in 18 months. I pay a small amount each month for a check up and a visit to the hygienist every 6 months. I can not rate Evolve in Portishead and the team too highly. Everyone treats you as a really valued client. Given the price of many things these days I think the cost is probably one things I least begrudge paying for the confidence that that my teeth will be looked after by exceptional professionals. Evolve destistry has my wholehearted recommendation.

I had my teeth straightened in 2015 (aged 47) and had an excellent experience and a great result. Lisa was fantastic through the whole treatment using difficult techniques with the Incognito brace. I had permanent fixed retainers fitted on my upper and lower incisors and these needed fixing this year due to general wear and tear and it was like meeting old friends! Lisa and Steph were fantastic and worked so quickly and professionally and were very kind and caring in dealing with my easily triggered gag reflex! All the staff are fantastic. I searched for an holistic dentist who could remove my amalgam fillings safely as after much research, I no longer wanted mercury in my system impacting my long term health. Or to visit any dentist who continues to regularly use mercury fillings in their practice and without the essential removal safety protocol for such an easily airborne toxin. Luckily I found just what I needed. Evolve is a beautifully designed practice with an air of calm, extremely clean and with excellent and highly knowledgeable staff. I felt in safe hands through quite an involved procedure and was amazed how painless it was. A totally different experience to any previous dentistry I'd received and well worth a little extra cost. Ongoing problems with one particular tooth and an infection underneath made me keep searching for the right dentist. On my first visit after a thorough examination my options were laid out to me. I've been Carol's patient for 8 years because of the incredible TLC I receive every time I set foot through those doors at Evolve Dentistry in Portishead. The quality of care and the attention to my needs at this practice are second to none. Although I live in Bristol, I choose to travel 90 minutes by bus each way, because they are that good at what they do and are so worth the journey. I travel 110 miles per each round trip to visit Evolve Dentistry, that's how good they are! I wanted 7 amalgam fillings fully removed and replaced by white ones and it was very important for me to have this work carried out in a safe environment (for medical reasons - a discovered metal allergy) hence the initial reason for trying them, and selecting them from three such practices. I was previously a patient with a dentist surgery in Clevedon. Over recent months, I have experienced a number of problems with my teeth and gums which were dismissed by my current dentist over a number of visits. I scheduled an appointment at Evolve for a second opinion, when the discomfort became too much, where Dr Jonathan Sproson met me for a consultation, before an extremely thorough examination. He covered everything, made me feel at ease, and formed a diagnosis and a treatment plan. He took his time, took photographs, x-rays, and talked me through each. After diagnosing the gum disease, I then met with Hannah Mundy, one of their hygienists. Again, she was very thorough and already things are feeling a little better, and I certainly feel more at ease and confident that the issue will be resolved. I have another two hour-long appointments with Hannah booked over the next couple of weeks to help get things under control. It's frustrating the diagnosis wasn't made by my existing dentist as things could have been sorted before they'd gotten this bad, but I'm confident that Evolve will be able to help. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. I would highly recommend. The level of care, and the thoroughness, is way beyond what I have experienced elsewhere.

Carol has been my dentist since she opened her practice in Portished. She not only restored my faith in dentists, after dreadful past treatments, but has reduced my fear to almost zero! First and foremost she is a brilliantly knowledgable dentist, however, she is also a lovely person with a ready smile and good sense of humour who always takes time to ask about the family etc. I’m also impressed by the state-of-the-art technology; crowns etc are all done within the same appointment. Joanne is my hygienist whom I cannot speak highly enough of. Lovely lady, as are the rest of the team. Want a good dentist in Portishead? This one is The Best.
