I want to thank the dental practice and my dentist Aida for their level of care. Aida is friendly, patient and a really good dentist. She has done amazing work on my teeth and goes above and beyond for my dental health. She was incredibly reassuring and makes me feel safe and comfortable in her care. I’ve recommended this practice to my family and friends.

I've been with this practice since my university days and I'm grateful for all service provided. I should be honest however and say that at times communication with the practice is difficult, hard to get anyone on the phone and I witnessed the receptionist rolling her eyes and huffing when she had to answer a phone call. The receptionist team could be friendlier in my opinion, all I ever get from them is a 'hi' and the amount I need to pay following my treatment, after all the years I've been with them. It's also disappointing that the practice isn't overly child-friendly. No toys/colouring pens in the waiting area and I felt like having my toddler with me was an inconvenience for everyone around even though I booked the appointment for him specifically. I was recommended specialist treatment by my previous dentist at the same practice, however when this was mentioned to his successor, it took 4 years for him to eventually follow up with the referral which I'm glad I pushed for constantly. There is a lot of room for improvement but overall this is a decent place.

I have always had a good experience at Promenade clinic, but especially with my dentist Aida Abas. I had a wisdom tooth extraction last year and she was good at keeping me calm, thorough and gentle, so I had the least amount of discomfort. She always goes above and beyond and is always a friendly face.

Well this dental practice is just superb! I have always rated the service but today am especially pleased. I just had some fillings done by James Rocha today and I just cannot fault the level of care, expertise and the capacity he and his assistant(s) have to make it a surprisingly enjoyable experience! Feeling thankful. My daughter and I have been laughing at my joker face the past couple hours from the anaesthesia! Teehee! 💓

Highly recommend. Promenade has a clean and calm environment. Staff are really friendly and professional. Great at putting me and my son at ease. Aida and Hannah have done a fab job for me and rebuilt my sons broken tooth to a very high standard. We are very happy with the service we received and would recommend to anyone.

Hands down best dentist in Bristol. On two occasions they have fitted me in for emergency appointments. Both being very painful traumas. Both times they have made me comfortable and done the best dental work I’ve seen. I’ve recommended this dentist to all my friends and family. They too have been impressed and happy. Would highly recommend The Promenade especially for those worried about going to the dentist. Recently had a filling, I told my dentist Aida that I was nervous after having a bad dentist experience as a kid. She made the whole process pain and stress free and really put me at ease. Now I have a good dentist experience!

I was in a lot of pain and everyone went out of their way to ensure the problem was dealt with compassionately and quickly, I was offered 2 last minute appointments which I am so grateful for. Just wanted to say a few words and this is the first time I’ve posted anything. James Rocha is a really superb dentist, as well as being a really nice guy. I’ve recently had a root canal filling, which I was dreading and with his skill along with his nurse(sorry don’t know your name) achieved a painless and successful procedure. Great practice for all the family. We have been attending as a family for over 10 years and have found the dentists very good for all our family dental needs. Children were treated sensitively when young, and as they got older had referrals to orthodontists when needed. Following an accident my husband required extensive dental work. When he needed to have it checked for insurance purposes the specialist commented on the high quality of workmanship.

My dentist was James Rocha and he was great. I can't believe the technology they have today, it amazes me. I was quite shaky to begin with after the anesthetic but James and his assistant was great to calm me down and make me feel very relaxed. I was out in no time with a new crown and a temporary filling in a crack I had in my tooth. Staff were friendly and I would tell other friends to go to the Promenade as they dentists there are very professional.

This was the first visit to the Dentist in over 4 years, so I was nervous in the event I needed fillings, as I have a needle phobia. I ended up needing 4 fillings, but I saw Michael who was extremely friendly and professional; putting my worries to rest. I didn't feel a thing. No pain. Incredible! Michael took the time to explain every procedure needed, and was very knowledgeable about the technology used too. I great Dentist all round, and the staff were all lovely. Highly recommended.

Best dentist I’ve ever been to. For 30 years I’ve found dentists never say much beyond a few numbers that are meaningless to me as they prod my teeth. Here my appointments begin with the dentist asking if I have any questions, explaining exactly how my teeth are doing and then giving me coaching on how to brush my teeth better. Absolutely brilliant and a massive improvement on anything I’ve experienced before.

What a fantastic practice. On the day I attended there was an electrical fault with the chair and the light due to my concern with a problem in my mouth, rather than cancel my appointment they made the most of a bad situation using my mobile phone torch to inspect my mouth. I was able to be reassured and they didn't charge me for the appointment. I'm really grateful to them for making the most out of the situation and I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone.

The extraction took far longer than it should have... because I'm such a bad patient, but I wasn't once made to feel rushed or silly for being such a wimp. James was working at another dental practice, my wife and I moved to continue seeing him. Recently had to have the first lot of work done with James, it was a complex crown and James did a perfect job on it. Plus the dental practice has some fantastic technology with does away with the need for multiple visits

After retiring in 2008 I wanted an NHS dentist close to home, this practice couldn’t be more conveniently placed. I walk through the car park, with plenty of designated spaces, and get ‘buzzed’ into the Victorian splendour of the practice reception. Smiling faces, a short wait and I’m invited into a lofty airy room, with all the latest tech. I’m always made to feel part of the treatment, with options and alternatives spelt out clearly. I’m impressed by the efficiency of it all – quick nimble fingers and no pain – who could ask for more. Well done Promenade Dental.

Slightly difficult to find, however nice spacious surgeries and friendly atmosphere. Felt very comfortable with James and appreciated that he took his time to explain what he was doing. Also has a car park which is important for me.
