Had Katie to do my cheek fillers and my botox.I am blown away how amazing I look, people keep telling me how good I look but they are not sure why. Katie has made me look natural, just a better version of how I look normally. The consultation was great she took great care to make sure she new exactly what I wanted,and explained in detail what would be happening.she is meticulous in what she dose and will give you the best outcome for you.I can't stop smiling because I love how I look Thank Katie

Gotta say, vinny and Lauren ( dun know if it was them all the time as they wore masks snd could’ve kept swapping..) were BRILLIANT. My implant looks fantastic. Every step explained clearly - no pain at all. As good an experience as sitting in a dentist chair can be really ( just take some tunes or simply shut off when Vinny attempts jokes..... 😉) BRAVO TEAM- and THANK YOU. The old pearly whites are as good as new again.....

I recently completed a lengthy implant treatment plan with Vinny and Lauren. Vinny was excellent, always making sure to fully explain my options, clearly and concisely, including both the benefits and drawbacks of any approaches, all done with great enthusiasm and care. This, coupled with Lauren's excellent support and sense of humour, gave me the utmost confidence during my treatment and helped me remain at ease. I now have an amazing bridge that fits perfectly, looks great and has given me my smile back - I simply cannot thank Vinny and Lauren enough. The treatment took place during the Covid pandemic and the communication from the practice around their procedures, and their implementation of the procedures, was top notch. The reception staff were always on point, courteous and knowledgable whenever I called in with questions or to confirm appointment timings.

I can’t recommend this dental practice enough. I came in for an appointment last Saturday and again for a follow up today. My dentist was called Mays. From the moment I spoke to her on the phone I knew I was in good hands. Such a kind and caring dentist who put me at ease straight away. I received exceptional care. She explained everything to me in detail and made sure I was ok every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble. She listened to everything I said and gave fantastic advice. She has such a warm and caring personality and it is very clear she has a passion for her job. Thank you to everyone for all their hard work during a difficult time.

I have been a patient at this practice for more years than I care to remember. Thanks to the services of my fantastic dentist, Bob Hitchcock, I have never required any treatment. However recently I had to make an emergency appointment because I have been suffering from extreme pain. The dentist that I saw, Vinny, diagnosed the problem immediately and suggested that I invest in a mouthguard. Since using the guard the pain has completely disappeared. I just wanted to say a massive 'thank you' to Vinny for his excellent service. I really cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

Myself and my 8 year old daughter both get seen by the dentist (Mays) we are both nervous but she makes us feel so relaxed and reassured. After been told by the emergency dentist that I was going to lose my broken front tooth Mays disagreed and done a fantastic job of rebuilding and saving my tooth....cannot recommend Mays enough as a top dentist as both my daughter and me has had 1st class treatment.

I can fully recommend having implants done at Cox and Hitchcock. Vinnie did mine - I was so pleased with the result. I felt like I was in a safe pair of hands. Nothing was rushed - my implants were done properly and carefully and with great attention to detail. The follow up care is excellent too.

Vinny - The Greatest Dentist in the World! I visited Cox and Hitchcock as an emergency but my regular dentist was at a different practice that day and wouldn’t be available for at least another week. Thankfully, the reception offered me a slot the same day with highly regarded Vinny. Vinny welcomed me into the room and politely offered me the chair. He has a great vibe and manner and I liked him immediately. So he proceeded to have a look around and the issue in hand and offered me an immediate solution. Great! He then asked was I aware that that I grind my teeth. I said I was not and then he replied with ‘do you suffer with headaches?’. At that point I sat up in the chair to face him and said that I suffer terribly and have done since a teenager. I practically beg my GP for migraine medication (they provide me a very limited amount) and that I wake up with a crippling migraine 2-3 times per week. It has a huge impact on my day-to-day productivity, not to mention the pain. Vinny then explained that I was grinding my teeth in my sleep and I was clamping my jaw, which of course tightened my jaw muscle and tension transferred up to my temples. He then said a simple mouthpiece / gumshield type device worn at night would alleviate the pressure and should ease the frequency of the headaches. In fact, he said it should reduce them up to 90%. Of course I was sceptical and thought the issue was down to sinus problems but Vinny was convinced about his diagnosis. Of course I was keen to try so he then made a mould for the mouthpiece. I collected it days later... WOW! Problem solved! I gave it a few weeks before admitting it, but he cured me! For OVER 25 YEARS I have suffered with crippling migraines (unable to stand up / vomiting, etc). Vinny diagnosed the issue within 5 MINUTES of sitting in his chair. Incredible! Now I have my life back and can spring out of bed into my day without any issue. I just can’t believe it. Vinny is so talented. He’s also one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. He treats his patients like they are family members and is in no rush to push you out of the door. His care is first class! Needless to say, I’ve transferred to Vinny as a private patient. The man is a miracle! Thank you Vinny for saving my life! You’re the best!

I would like to share my concern about this place, the dentist who saw me today, she was amazing, she just said the right thing in the right moment. I think her name is Maud. I highly recommend her. But my concern is with one of the ladies who is in reception, she told me quite loud in front of the people that I arrived 15 minutes late, she didn't know why or try to understand that it could be for any problem so it made me very uncomfortable and when I went to pay because she didn't have enough change she was going to take 70p from me. Apart of that I don't think she is nice when she speaks to me. In the phone when I called to ask for an appointment she interrupted me, finishing my sentences. It is a pity that such an amazing place has not pleasant people on reception. Thanks for letting me express my concern and please do something about it.

Although in recent times the surgery has moved from one side of Rhyd-y-Penau Road to the other side it is evident that much has changed in technology and dentistry over this period of time. I have found the reception staff and dental nurses to be polite, courteous and welcoming. I'm fifty six years old and nearly four and a half year's ago I had to have all my teeth removed in University hospital of Wales due to no fault of my own. I found the whole experience deeply upsetting and even more so after seeing three separate dentists from two different practices and getting three set's of badly fitting dentures, which caused me a lot of pain to wear and impossible to eat with. My weight dropped dramatically and health deteriorated as did my confidence. Unable to wear dentures for long periods of time stopped me going out to socialise and family and friends stopped asking me to attend any celebration which involved eating. I had been told by all three previous dentists that the only way I would ever have dentures that I could eat with properly is if I had had two implants put into both sides of back of jaw to hook dentures onto to hold them in. The cost of which was well beyond me so I had come to terms with the fact I would never eat at a restaurant again. I was fortunate enough to be able to register as a nhs patient at Cox and Hitchcock about eight weeks ago and saw a young dentist, I told her my story and for the first time since losing my teeth I had a dentist who listened to me. Each visit to her was a pleasure and yesterday I went for the final visit to have new dentures fitted. I didn't go with any high expectations as I have always felt so letdown previously. But she's only gone and cracked it and last night for the first time in over four years I went out with my family and ate at a restaurant with my family with very minimal discomfort, which was only there due to my mouth still being a bit sore from wearing previous dentures. This little lady (Mays) has given me my life back I can't thank her enough. The practice is spotless and receptionists always polite and helpful. I highly recommend this surgery.
