Saw me very quickly for a problem my own dentist was unable to resolve. Extremely friendly & knowledgeable staff, who proposed a sensible range of treatments and were able to commence immediately with a temporary fix. I now feel my tooth is on the way to being fully mended, which wasn't the case before my visit. Would thoroughly recommend!

What makes Cavendish Dental Practice great is the staff, they are friendly, helpful and personable. Its hard to find a decent dental practice who will take the time to explain what they are doing, and can do a good job, but Cavendish Dental Practice stand-out by adding fantastic customer service on-top of their excellent dentistry. They are thoroughly nice people who know their clients well, it feels like visiting a family friend more than a dental practice, which is why my wife, kids and in-laws use them too.

I’ve been using this dentist for over 20 years for the whole family. My grandchildren have recently joined too. The service is always excellent especially recently with the Covid pandemic where distancing and protective measures are still in place. Great service from all the staff, who helped me tremendously with my teeth!! They are very polite and helpful and keep me well informed. The dentist and hygienist are absolutely brilliant with me as i suffer from dentist anxieties and because of that i stopped going to my old dentist for a long time so my teeth became bad, but with this dentist continued help and reassurance my teeth are looking and feeling great now. Throughout the Covid period, I struggled with a multitude of dental problems that left me crippling with excruciating pain and left doctors and dentists perplexed. The team at Cavendish dental practice were superb, in helping to manage my pain levels, pulling me in whenever an emergency appointment was available and going above and beyond for months. A special thanks to Dr Khanolkar for putting the work in on her days off to try understand what was causing me agony. Big thanks also to the reception staff, who again were superb, it put me and my family at ease to know that a specialist team were working Incredibly hard and putting patients well-being first. The service has been fantastic while covid has been happening. There has been no delays on my appointments in fact called me to say was ready early. You knock on the door and sometimes you have to sit in a designated area but only for a few minutes, I been seeing Benish Khawar dentist she is absolutely lovely lady and cannot thank her enough since I change to her she has been working on my teeth any problems I have she sorts them out for me. she is always very pleasant and goes above and beyond I would say, I would definitely recommend going to see her.

I have been under the care of Dr Albahti for a number of years now, she is amazing and has such a calming and caring demeanour and despite my longstanding fear and nervousness when attending, she is always brilliant and makes me feel relaxed and calm before starting treatment. It's very different times at the moment due to the pandemic but Cavendish dental practice are taking all the precautions with perspex screens between the receptionists and patients and all staff wearing face coverings. What a positive experience I've had with Cavendish Dental Practice which began from receiving a text reminder of my appointment & receiving forms to complete online in preparation for my appointment yesterday (13.04.2021). Online form filling was straightforward & easy to navigate from one page to another. I unfortunately had to cancel my appointment at the last minute due to unforseen circumstances where the receptionist was so understanding & I was offered a replacement appointment for later that same day. On arrival I was greeted at the door of the surgery by a friendly staff member who invited me in & kindly asked me to sanitise my hands before walking into the main reception area where I was shown to my seat that was positioned in line with social-distancing restrictions. While waiting to be called I witnessed the same worker going round sanitising chairs in the waiting room. I didn't have to wait long till another friendly staff member called my name & escorted me to the examination room where I was greeted by my dentist. My treatment of a filling was a really positive experience as my dentist checked how I was during her task & her assistant worked really proficiently too!! My dentist was meticulous in ensuring the finshed filling felt right for me as she kept smoothing & polishing it so I hardly felt it was there as it was positioned at the back of my front tooth where I thought my tongue would keep fiddling with this area, but it was so smooth, infact smoother than when I had the filling fitted!! I was shown to reception to pay for my treatment & again every staff member who passed me greeted me warmly & even though wearing face masks I could tell they had smiles on their faces!! I can't praise this dental practice enough and would highly recommend them!!

I never usually write reviews but despite still feeling a little unwell I had to come on here and speak about my experience. Cavendish dental practice has been my only dentist, I would always have my treatments done my Dr Malhi (BESTTT dentist by far). It had been a week I had been unwel due to a broken tooth so I made an emergency appointment and didn’t really care who was going to treat it at the time as long as it was fixed! The day before I had a telephone call from Dr Poonam Chitkara and she was so so lovely, Iv not had much good experience with NHS but she actually cared and treated me like a human being and not just a patient! When I went to my appointment I wasn’t uneasy or uncomfortable despite the current pandemic, she was absolutely amazing and so caring, she was assisted with Nurse Orletta (I hope Iv got her name right) again she was so lovely too! Absolutely fantastic experience.I have a horrible wisdom tooth pain,my sent told me she couldn't extract it and would refer me to specialist and I will have to suffer for weeks. It's not easy during lockdown restrictions & shielding but Cavendish Dental Practice Derby have been great. Giving advise over the phone, fitting me in to be seen. Completing all the necessary paperwork on line including covid 19 risk assessment. Reception staff & the dentist assistant David P, Kirsty B & Sophie H have been fantastic in their welcoming, reassurance & their care & attention. During treatment I was anxious but again was reassured. As I'm getting older & with a number of health conditions, it feels my visits & treatment needed have been more frequent. I maybe considering going private with them with Mr Trishan Malhi. I remember many many years ago, I'd feel extremely anxious & he always had an approach to reassure me & subsequently he did the same to my son from an early age. I couldn't fault his treatment. It maybe be financially beneficial if i went private. It's something I'll need to discuss further with them. In the meantime I appreciate the NHS treatment from Shweta K.

Such a lovely dentist, starting from the receptionists all so lovely & friendly. I had a couple of questions and she was really helpful (sorry i didnt get her name) my 3 boys were due check ups, she managed to get them in together and all paperwork was sent via email for me to complete. All very covid safe, we were let in, paperwork checked, sanitised etc and was shown to our seating area and called in when dentist was ready. Dr poonam was great with my boys, very welcoming and friendly, made them feel at ease and we learned a few things about space, which my boy was thrilled about. Amazing customer service and really friendly staff. Came here for a checkup and they followed government guidelines kept all patients 2 meters apart as-well as ensuring all patients wore a mask and hand sanitised. All staff members were wearing top notch PPE gear which is great to see. The dentist I was with she was amazing and really friendly and gave good advice with regards to oral hygiene. The dental nurse Rukhsar I think her name was also amazing had everything prepared before I walked into the consultation/ surgery room. She was knowledgeable and well prepared and assured the dentist really well. Better than a lot of dental surgeries around the Derby area. Keep up the amazing work!

I have not been to the dentist in about 3 years and before that 7 years! I plucked up the courage to attend as I had toothache. Turns out I needed fillings and a clean. I was terrified. However, I saw Dr Shetye & Gemma who were very calming, reassuring, Dr Shetye explained every single step of the way. She also stopped a few times with mini breaks, which helped. She was giving me techniques such as breathing through my nose etc. The injection was pretty painless, which I was shocked about. She was very calming and understanding. Whilst I still dislike the process of the dentist, I can't believe how well it went and painless it was. Dr Shetye & Gemma made my experience so much better and I am extremely thankful. Thank you.

I saw Dr Malhi and Dave regarding braces, as I was getting married in 9 months time and wanted that perfect smile for the wedding. Dr malhi and dave were exceptional in explaining the process of wearing braces and made me feel comfortable throughout my course of treatment. The cavendish team were amazing in making me feel at ease throughout my course of treatment, I was seen around my working availability and tried upmost to fit me in my lunch hours etc to ensure my treatment was completed before the wedding. I was extremely nervous but was welcomed by Andrew the dental nurse who put me at some ease. I found Mr Mauri to be by far the most patient dentist I have met. He made me feel much more at ease, explained what he was doing and all of my options with no pressure to take any particular course of action. I would certainly recommend him! Whilst I have no doubt that some of my experience was more pleasant because i was paying for private dentistry rather than NHS - I have to say I do not intend to return to NHS dentistry now - the difference is quite astonishing.
