I was an emergency with an abscess I hadn't been to the dentist in 20 yrs as been a nervous person,I was made very relaxed and reassured by the options i was given,Toby was the young Dentist and very professional all the staff were wonderful and helpful, they've certainly cured my phobia. Had an emergency tooth removal here yesterday, I'm petrified of dentists normally, and this place is without a doubt the best dentist ive ever been to! Lovely welcoming receptionist, v calming and informative dentist and dental nurses were so friendly, they all made me feel so at ease, and kept me informed throughout what happened, made sure I was completely 110% pain free throughout and can't thank them enough! Really saved me during an emergency. Will be switching to this dentist for my registered dentist soon as! Can't fault this place and 110% recommend 👌 Best ever, thank you 😊

Referral from 111 emergency dental treatment. Staff or colleagues where lovely and professional. The dentist was a lovely young gentleman. He talked me through the options. I had a tooth removed he talked me through the process and made me feel at ease all the way through. To me that is great as verry nervous around any medical settings. Would highly recommend to any one in future

Not easy to get an NHS appointment unless your willing to wait a month or so. Emergency appointments are even harder to get but with a little juggling they can usually get you in that day, but no guarantee. I had my appointment cancelled 24hrs before scheduled. This was due to the dentist having staff sickness. Obviously these situations can’t be avoided but I had to wait nearly 30 days for another appointment. This was probably because of the lockdown situation, everybody needing a dentist. Not ideal, especially when your in pain. When I finally got my appointment I was told by the dentist to leave it another month and see how I am. Following few days later, constant pain, rang up at 9am and was told no emergency appointments available. Trisha rang me back an hour later to advise they got me in, YES......... Can not fault the dentist (Helen) and her nursing staff. Calm and friendly manner. Been to her a few times now and every time she is professional and pleasant to be around. Once your in you’ll find the practice very clean with a friendly atmosphere. A big shout out to Carol, Trisha and Paula in reception. Found them to have a very warm and understand approach even if sometimes their hands were tied to what they could do for you.

I had an emergency appointment this morning to have a tooth removed. The whole team were extremely friendly and made me feel at ease. The dentist I had was Toby who explained the procedure and I cannot thank them enough. Excellent service and the reason for 5 star rating.

First time in over 60 years I have had partial dentures made that are so comfortable. Helen (the dentist) took time, listened to what I had to say and did the task in hand to perfection. I have total confidence in Helen and her dental nurse and in my opinion you will not find a better dental team. I can now eat in comfort and no more weeks of agony and hospital visits, due to badly made ill fitting dentures. Thank you Helen and your nurse.

Attended coxhoe dental practice this morning after 111 made me an appointment. I can easily say this is the best dental practice I have been in. Very safe with covid measures and a dentist who understood a condition I have.( first time I haven't had to explain it) I cant reccomend highly enough. As soon as they are accepting new patients I will be registering.

After years of remembering nothing but fear and loathing previous experiences I have high praise for this dental practice as the professionalism and courtesy and care that was shown to me has been outstanding. A warm welcome and pleasant surroundings without that typical "dentist smell" And even though I was petrified of being there, the appointment was not how I expected it to be. Constantly given reassurance and being informed of exactly what was going to happen, and I have come away with a new found trust for this practice to give me the ongoing care and attention that I know I need .
