R. M.I've had to change dental practice time and time again as I've moved around the country. I fervently hope I don't have to move away from the Duddingston area because this practice is a real find. Welcoming reception, thorough dental inspection and opportunity to meet with the practice manager afterwards. Not only did I feel that I was in competent hands, but there was no rush, plenty of time for questions. It's not often you feel relaxed in a dental surgery!
t. p.Had a great experience at Duddingston Dental Practice today. My hygienist Louisa is always so professional and a genuinely nice person. She always put me at ease, enquires about my day and makes me smile. Also in these uncertain times it’s very reassuring to see all the precautions the practice has in place to unsure public safety.
I. K.I have recently joined this practice. I was so nervous going to dentist because of bad and painful experience I have had somewhere else. But after joining this practice I met my dentist Rachel and she gave me my confidence back. She was extremely gentle and caring doing my treatment. I am very impressed and wouldn't go anywhere else. All of the staff is nice but Rachel and Clara were absolutely brilliant today.

T. G.Great staff and a calming setting. I've recently had some minor construction work done by Stuart (filling in the gap between my two front teeth) and highly recommend Duddingston Dental Practice. During my initial enquiry I had the list of options explained to me with no pressure. Stuart then did an excellent job (pain free! ) followed by excellent after-care advice. I've been a client of this practice for years and, despite now living well outside of Edinburgh, have never considered changing my dentist.

My wife's check-up was fine, but when Stuart found a problem with mine, he spent time on it and arranged a follow-up right away. I thought they all did well.

m. m.I have been an NHS client of Rachel's for two years. She is a kind, patient and professional dentist. Because the service was very busy post covid, when I had a dental issue Rachel triaged me over the phone. I was convinced I needed a filling, but Rachel made a suggestion to try some basic dental hygiene procedure. I did this and I am pleased to say it resolved the issue. Despite having many patients, she remembers little things about different clients and I think this is what makes her so personable. I also attended the dental hygenist, despite having attended a previous dentist for 15 years, and having a bad issue with plaque building on my teeth, I was never shown how to use my electric toothbrush or given advice on how to improve my teeth cleaning. I would recommend this dental practice because I believe they employ honourable, professional staff who care about their patients and not just about selling treatments.
B. M.Saw Mr Muir from when I was 18. Nearly 40yrs later I’m still a patient. Great dentists, professional, friendly and polite. There have been a few changes over the years which has seen the practice grow from strength to strength. A wonderful community asset. Well done to Mr Hendrie and his team.
