E.I visited this dental clinic for a first appointment yesterday and was very happy with everything! The place is clean and modern, all staff are lovely and friendly. My dentist Gillian is very professional, I am usually quite nervous attending dentist appointment but GIllian made me feel quite relax, very patient in answering all my questions. Highly recommend this dental care!
M.I decided to join a new dentist closer to home but was anxious due to having had cosmetic crowns abroad. I had heard a lot of dentists in UK have scolded patients for deciding to have this treatment. I was put at ease by dentist Gillian who didn’t pass judgement on me for my decision and helped me to maintain a positive outlook after some disappointing results relating to an abscess. I really appreciated her kind and warm approach. The wider surgery staff are also very friendly and approachable.

D. L.I've been to many different dentists in my life, and ive had a really good experience here. The environment is very clean and the staff are very friendly and professional.
They always go the extra mile to squeeze you in if you're in lots of pain, but otherwise the wait times aren't too bad.
Lorna is really lovely dentist who was particularly helpful after I was in an accident last year. She did some exceptional work in helping fix my front crowns which were smashed out completely.

S. A.By far the best dental surgery i have been registered with over the years. My dentist is Lorna Burns, who my children and I have been with for a number of years now. She is very friendly, professional and always does a great job of making you feel comfortable as well as gives good dental advice. Would highly recommend.
P.Like many, I too hadn't been to a dentist in an embarrassingly long time due to fear of costs and misconception that I'd been in so much pain.
When the pain in a tooth got really bad, I registered with Haymarket Dental Care and got assigned Jill as my dentist, and after getting scheduled an appointment rather soon, Jill conducted a thorough checkup and talked me through all my options, prices, and how much time I can afford to leave between appointments to make sure I could afford treatments.
I am impressed with Jill and the dental nurses who are efficient and talk me through what they are doing throughout. And at the end I am always happy with the results and with as minimal pain as possible thanks to their good work.
This dental clinic has definitely restored my faith back in dentists and I am less concerned and worries about keeping up my regular check ups from now on.

My dentist, Amy Sheldon, is so so nice and makes me feel at ease plus the work she has done so far has made me so much more confident as I was terrified of dentists for many years after suffering a serious trauma when I was a teenager,I'm now 37 so it took me 20yrs to finally register with a dentist and I'm so happy I found this one. The reception staff are also lovely and very welcoming.I would recommend this surgery to anyone and everyone because my fear of dentists is gone and once the rest of my work is done I will NEVER miss a check up ever again.I can now smile with confidence I never thought I would get back.Best dentist in Edinburgh hands down!!😁😁

They take the time to explain the procedures and make you comfortable with what needs done and the difference between NHS and private work. Couldn't recommend them more!
E. M.I hadn't been to a dentist in a shamefully long time, and after breaking a tooth, I was recommended Haymarket Dental Care. Lorna is my dentist, and she's absolutely brilliant. Excellent patient communication - she tells you what she's doing and why, and takes great care in ensuring the whole dental experience is completely pain-free and comfortable. All the staff I've met at this practice are superb - friendly and caring. And my broken horror of a tooth is now repaired and trouble-free. They are taking on new NHS patients (I'm one). Cannot recommend highly enough.
S.Here are two key services in life that once found make a huge difference; a good barber ( hairdresser) and a quality dentist. Here's the later. Haymarket Dental Care is the dentist you've been looking for. I've been seeing David for years now. The professionals working here will take good care of you, their bedside manner is fantastic, very skilled with the tools of the trade. Highly recommended!
C. Y.So I came to see dentist here because I've seen the reviews on Google. So I thought it might be a good idea to reaffirm what other people say.
I just finished my first appointment with Charlotte today. She is absolutely a great dentist. My bottom wisdom tooth got decayed quite severely, and at the scene she advised me to remove it. And yes I know my problem was too big and I decided to remove the tooth. That's for the first appointment: she did all the important work! She and her assistant worked pretty well. Charlotte's been constantly calming my nerves: "well done, well done." she said. Well, though I know she was actually the one did all the work and I was definitely not the one 'well done' lol. I didn't feel any intense pain. And it was so quick that made the horrific tooth removing experience much much easier.
I'll have my teeth re-check by this Friday. I hope my mouth wouldn't swell too much after this evening! Thanks very much for all the great work, Charlotte. Well done!
R.In my opinion this is the best dentist so far! Very friendly,clean, efficient and excellent at putting nervous patients at ease. I never used to enjoy going to the dentist but I can actually say that I do!
S. C.Sometimes I shake my head at the amount of money I was paying out on monthly private dental cover when it was impossible to get an NHS dentist. Thankfully this no longer seems to be the case and I'm only paying out around £10 every 6 months for my scale and polish following my NHS checkup. The practice feels very new and shiny with friendly staff and a pleasant big waiting area. Consultation rooms are a good size and service is great. They also very helpfully text you when your next checkup is due.
C. F.I can't say "loved it" in regards to any dentist, however this dentist surgery is of a high standard. The girls at the desk are all helpful and accommodating with appointments. Charlotte my dentist is so lovely, friendly and has an ability to distract me from the fact that I'm at the dentist!! She is understanding and shows empathy when your dental work is getting you down, for reasons such as pain/discomfort.
The place itself it very sterile and clean looking and staff smile at you when they walk past you.
If I had to say anything negative it'd have to be the fact that I have found the place to be unbearably warm. I always go in and open the windows as they're often closed, they don't open very wide at all either. The windows are great for keeping the place bright but useless as far as ventilation.
L. O.I am so pleased to have found such a great dentist. I have been coming here for about 4 years now and would recommend it to everyone. Super clean, efficient and friendly. It is an NHS dentist, but you can opt to pay to up the service. Eg, pay for a white filling instead of an amalgam.
G. o.I had some fillings done on the front of my teeth at Ocean Drive Dental - these fillings were too dark and did not match my natural teeth. I was told by Ocean Drive that in order to get the correct shade I would need to go private and pay £220. On recommendation from a work colleague I decided to get a second opinion at Haymarket Dental Care. I am delighted I did. Jill McFall had a look at my teeth and assured me that the fillings could be re-done using the correct shade. Just 2 appointments later and I couldn't be happier with the improvement.
