I had my first dental treatment today since nearly 3 years ago, from Lewis Cameron and his long time assistant ( I’m ashamed to say I don’t know her name). I can’t sing their praises enough, both highly efficient professionals and excellent communication skills from both, regarding the recent and ongoing difficulties with covid. Great to have this service, really appreciate it.

By far the best dental practice around! I never have to wait very long for an appointment and when I’m there I never have to sit around in the waiting room over my appointment time. Julie is an amazing dentist! I take my kids here too and from such a young age they have always enjoyed their visits to the dentist and listen to what their dentist tells them. The surgery is impeccably clean and the staff are very welcoming. I would highly recommend Julie and the surgery!

I joined this particular dentist a few years ago after several bad experiences with other dentists. It took me about 3 changes before I found the best dentist and in Baillieston, my dentist makes me feel relaxed and always at ease - he always speaks me through what he is doing making me feel less uptight and more relaxed. What's also nice about this particular dentist is always the warm welcome you get when you come in from reception staff, I would highly recommend this practice and feel extremely comfortable with my dentist and always at ease. 10/10 💯✔✔✔✅✅✅ xxx

I am never keen to visit my dentist ( irrational fear), however it is always better than I anticipate at the BDC Practice. The receptionists are always welcoming, friendly while ever efficient, putting you at ease straight away. All dentist I have dealt with have been excellent always explaining options and exactly what they are doing and why. A first class dental practice that I have recommended to my children and friends.

I have been going to this practice for years and been a patient of Lewis Cameron for many many years. I have to say though the staff have always been easy to contact, friendly, especially the dentists and nurses, whilst at reception they’re always very accommodating. There have been many years when my parents in particular have had to get an emergency appointments on that day which the practice has always accommodated, either with our own dentist or another in the practice. Would always say to someone to sign themselves up to the practice and hope to be coming here for many more years to come. Darren M

Great service. Reception staff couldn’t be more welcoming, friendly and approachable. Dentist very reassuring and efficient, nurses very helpful in assisting. Best dentist I have been to, very calming and wiped any negative experiences surrounding dentist appointments clear. So I have had a fear for over 12 years and for the first time 1 month ago I popped in and saw Michelle at reception that lady is a star and bent over backwards for me as I had an infection I was given a dentist David Logan to which explained to him I wanted referred if I needed work so I agreed to let him check my mouth finding out I need to have my full top teeth removed and a plate fitted I was scared and anxious but David and Fiona gave me there word they would help me and told me if I wanted them to help I was in charge and I was calling the shots to date I have had 4 appointments and had most of my top teeth out in just under 2 months to find someone who doesn’t. Just get you in and out but takes time to explain reassure you of what is going to happen. And I can safely say I have over come my fear of the dentist and this is because of the girls on reception but most of all David and Fiona at this practice keep up your amazing work and know you guys are awesome 😎

However I have to say the dentist and nurse who treated me (I was so anxious their names didn’t register) were so kind, professional and non judgemental. They managed to calm me down and talked me through every step of my treatment. I've been a patient here for years with my daughter. Gordon's memory for details at 6 monthly intervals means that each visit is like a barely interrupted conversation. I've had a few fillings from previous dentists redone and some private orthodontic work as well. Never pushy, happy to hold off on treatment if it can be avoided and take another look in a few months but really responsive when I had a bout of pericoronitis. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I can’t rate this surgery enough. I have always been terrified of the dentist but Gordon put me at ease from the minute I sat in the chair. I have always relied on sedation if needing any fillings but having Gordon as my dentist has allowed me to overcome my fears and can now comfortably have treatment just with local anaesthetic. The dentists, nurses and reception staff are fantastic and very welcoming.

I used to be so apprehensive about going to the dentist due to botched treatments and unpatient "professionals" as a child. I created such a negative view about the dentistry profession in general growing up. This followed me as an adult right up until I registered at Baillieston Dental Care. The dentists and dental nurses are amazing there and make you feel at ease from the offset, the atmosphere is so relaxed and professional. The girls behind the desk at reception are lovely too and nothings too much hassle. It's always nice to have a friendly face to welcome you. I now go to the dentist with zero anxiety. I've been visiting Gordon Mcgavin for the last 10 years, I've recently been through a personal issue which I'm sure he knows about , he's never brought it up so I'm not uncomfortable which is very professional and kind. I think he's probably too good at his job as I never seem to need anything fixed! The service is quick,efficient and I've never felt that there's been any work suggested that I haven't needed. If anything it's me asking for things to be done. All in all he's kind, honest and reliable and I don't think anyone could ask for more. All the staff are very welcoming and funny and as I work crazy shifts they always try and fit me in. .

Absolutely fantastic dentist!!!! I've been terrified of the dentist my whole life and was always back and forward at dental hospital for sedation for the smallest of treatments but since going to baillieston dental care around 3-4 years ago my fear of the dentist has gone!!! Gordon shephard is my dentist and he has literally worked wonders with my fear and I'm so happy that I no longer need to have sedation for a filling etc....I've had root treatment a few times also and before baillieston dental care id have needed totally knocked out for that procedure lol so honestly guys you are the best!!!
