Having been a patient of Broomhill Dental Practice for many years I am now a patient of Adam Watt. Once again Adam has managed to bring four teeth that I thought were beyond saving back to looking amazing due to Composite Bonding. Thank you Adam for being a dental wizard.

I have been visiting Broomhill dental for almost 10 years now and happily recommend their services to anyone I meet. I think the staff are super friendly and very professional. They always give me reminders when my appointments due which is always helpful. I have never had better treatment anywhere else and is the reason why I travel all the way across the city to see them. I have even got my mates from Edinburgh to go to them.

The quality welcome I get soon as I walk in the door from the reception team always settles me into the right frame of mind for my appointment. Next the actual dentist who in my case was Robert comes out to meet and greet me and lead me through to his surgery all the time being so friendly and chatty that I forgot this was fairly major dentistry I was getting namely bridge work done to my upper front teeth - those two teeth that make or break a smile for my next many long years. During my three appointments to get this done Robert couldn't have been nicer throughout and there was absolutely no pain or even worry of pain experienced. I knew both him and his dental nurse Lorraine were looking after me 100%. The bridge work is now complete, my two new front teeth look absolutely amazing, they fit perfectly and I honestly can't remember feeling so pleased after having dental work done and at 64 years of age there has been more than a few dental procedures. Very big thanks to Robert and his staff at Broomhill Dental and good luck with the updating and increasing of the building size work just ready to start - I am looking forward to seeing the changes at my next routine check up. You are definately a 5 star operation 💖

I needed a very complex root treatment and had been turned down by other dentists because they thought it needed a specialist. Adam had a look, immediately assessed the problem. He carried out the treatment professionally and putting me at ease. I'm terrified of dentists, and noticed that he did little things to make my stress less. Despite long appointments they kept focused and left me pain and stress free. Afterwards I experienced no discomfort despite quite extensive work being carried out. Before each appointment I was contacted to ensure the date and time was still suitable. Afterwards I was contacted to check I had been OK after the treatment. My young daughters had accompanied me to an appointment and they had been kept occupied with lego and a very lovely receptionist. If you are looking for a family friendly dentist with an exceptionally high skill set, I'd recommend this one.

After my recent visit to Broomhill Dental I am pleased to reportr that the practice has gone to a whole new level. The adjacent building has been integrated into the existing dental surgery and the result is a top class conversion. Robert the dentist was great and so was the hygienist. I am very pleased with the level of service and facilities that are on offer. I was very pleased with the service provided today. Mairi the dentist listened to my problem, an abcess in the gum, and she prescribed antibiotics and painkillers which I can collect from the local pharmacy in 30 minutes. Excellent service, thank you.

I have been going to this practice since I was a child. The new owners have really modernised and improved the place. The dentists and staff are SO friendly. I had my nuisance wisdom tooth removed last week and it was so sweet of them to call the next day to make sure everything was ok. Have been going to see Robert for about a year now and can't recommend highly enough. I'm not very comfortable at the thought of the dentists, but from the minute you walk in the door all the staff are very friendly and really put you at ease. Robert himself is easy-going and particularly communicative with regard to what he's doing. As for his work, despite the two fillings I've had being especially deep, the discomfort was minimal and the fillings have really done their job; no more pain and they look & feel natural. Great practice and great dentist!

My wife and I took our three-year-old daughter to Broomhill Dental for an appointment with Robert Mckernon. From the moment she walked in, Emily was made to feel incredibly welcome by the reception staff. Robert engaged with Emily brilliantly and clearly explained to both her and ourselves what he and his assistant were doing throughout the procedure. It's a true testament to Robert and the rest of the Broomhill Dental team that Emily has no concerns whatsoever about her next checkup and in fact, now refers to Robert as "Uncle Bob". We cannot recommend Broomhill Dental highly enough.

I have been coming to Dr Robert McKernon for many years now and have followed him from his previous practice. I have never been any less than delighted with the exacting standards and excellent quality of service that I have received. I was very unlucky to have my front tooth damaged due to impact and subsequently suffered an abcess at the root of the tooth. Not only did Dr McKernon treat my pain and inflammation quickly and effectively, he carried out a necessary root canal with great care and confidence. I was very nervous beforehand as I had never required anything more than a scale and polish in the past, however Dr McKernon was very calming and reassuring during the treatment. Furthermore, I was given a variety of options of further treatment to help with the cosmetic appearance of the tooth. I have always felt well informed and comfortable to discuss the best possible options. I can now smile with confidence thanks to the exceptional all-round treatment that I have received and I always feel happy, in the best possible hands, on any trip to the dentist. I couldn't recommend this dental practice enough. I'm a regular patient of Dr McKernon & his professionalism is the reason why I travel out of my way for this practice. He has really eased my anxiery about going to the dentist as he takes the time to explain all procedures and there is never any pressure. I would like to thank Adam and his nurse for the treatment I received today. I have always been scared about going to the dentist but no longer after today! I've had pain for a while and was told I had to get a wisdom tooth taken out along with two fillings!! I went to see Robert for a check up and decided to get my metal filling replaced with a cosmetic white one. It feels so much better on my tongue and looks just like my real tooth. Always a fantastic service, the main reason that I travel out of my way to attend this practice. Excellent Service and well worth travelling across the city from the Southside. Adam was my dentist at Parnie Street where under his care he fixed many of the failings of previous dental work and gave me a life free of dental pain for the first time in many years. When he decided to open his own Practice it was a no brainer to move with him even if it now involves a 1 hour bus trip across town. Highly recommended.
