Very happy with the service at G1 Dental. Everyone was super welcoming and helpful especially Caitlin to book an emergency appointment on the phone and in person. Also very appreciative of the dentist and the assistant as they made sure to inform me of all the steps and options available. I will definitely come back if needed as the location is also very convenient.

I’ve been going to G1 dental for my check ups and for hygiene visits. I highly recommend this practice for anything because everyone is really professional and kind. My dentist Stuart Sloan and his lovely dental nurse Raquel are really good and always happy to explain any treatment or plan. I’ve already started my treatment plan, what are you wanting for? Just give them a call and the lovely receptionist would help you allocating an appointment that suits you!

I have been attending this dentist for years, the staff are always super friendly and helpful and are able to offer a mix of NHS and private options. I get regular hygienist appointments and am able to get an appointment easily within a week or two of me requesting across the board. I also get honest advice on what is necessary treatment and what is a nice to have, so I can budget accordingly. Great service all around!

Wee bit late to the 'review party', but after my latest visit today, I realised that G1 have been my dentist for around 8 - 9 years now... And that's for good reason... Since being under their care (specifically Dr Sloan's...) they've been the model of good practice, and the exemplar of how a modern dental practice should be: very professional, compassionate, and with very effective treatments. While I'm not a 'nervous patient...' myself, I've witnessed how staff in G1 deal with those of a certain disposition, and it's always with tact and dignity. I'd never go anywhere else, and cannot recommend G1 enough....

Haven’t been to the dentist in about 6 years… didn’t realise it wa a that long… last dentist put me off. G1 on the other hand have been brilliant… easy to get an appointment so far, friendly, helpful.. best dentist I’ve been to. I’ve had a broken, dying front tooth for years that has really bothered me and broke my confidence, readjusting the way I smile and talk to hide what I seen as a hideous off putting aesthetic . After years of just accepting it I was provided with the means to get help and fix it, the treatment i was provided by G1 Dental and Atelier Dentistry was next level beyond, from an extraction, teeth whitening, composite fillings the works I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! I have been a patient of G1 Dental for quite a few years now and have found all of my experiences there extremely positive. The staff are all really lovely and attentive. I'm always able to get an appointment quickly even if it's just for a check-up. Aside from check-ups, I've had a scale and polish (NHS) about a year ago and wisdom teeth removal, all four of them (privately with G1 Dental). As I write this, I am recovering from the procedure (It was yesterday) and I am just so glad I went with G1 Dental. The Dentists of whom worked on me, Dr Sharif and Emma were so extremely professional, but also so easy to talk to and calming. Before the appointment, Dr Sharif explained to me what the plan of action was - he also asked which music I'd like to listen to during the procedure - I chose to stick to the steady, chill tropical beats they were playing already. I was a nervous patient going in since I had never had anything done to my teeth apart from a scale and polish, and was shaking at first, but they just spoke to me and really made me feel at ease. I knew I was in good hands - as soon as the chair was lowered, I was calm. Emma kept on checking on me, asking if I was okay, and before I knew it, two of my teeth were removed and not long after the next two. I was given a recovery pack with some gauze, a cold bag and a few instructions whilst Dr Sharif explained to me how to recover well. I was so happy that I went with G1 Dental. I knew I was in safe hands and I think that is really important. I really appreciate the work of Dr Sharif and Emma, the check-up call I received today from the team at reception and I'm looking forward for my appointment next week checking on my healing. I've already recommended G1 Dental to my friends and family, and I recommend them to you too! 5*

I've been seeing Dr Sloan for a few years and although there are dental surgeries closer to where I live. I wouldn't go anywhere else and have recommended g1 dental to family and friends. I trust Dr sloan and feel he is always very honest and makes me part of the appointment and doesn't recommend work unless actually required. I've had some long term acid erosion on my teeth which was bothering me aesthetically. We discussed options and made a plan of how to decide which required some work and others which were fine for now. I've just had composite bonding on 6 of my upper teeth and they look so much better!!! Dr sloan and his dental nurse were so kind and I'm really pleased with the results

However, the thorough care and kindness shown by Dr Sharif and his assistant Niamh (I’m so sorry if that name is wrong as she deserves just as much credit) was incredible. I would recommend this dental practice to anybody who is looking for real professionals to take care of their teeth. My eldest son had to get some treatment done as an emergency and G1 Dental could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They told him what was required and made the appointments to suit which during these difficult times was exceptional service. The treatment was carried out and almost a month after the treatment we had to get a detailed receipt for insurance purposes and the lady who my wife spoke to, Caitlin could not have been more helpful and this was emailed to us within 30 minutes.

I was looking for a new NHS dentist in Glasgow and G1 Dental is brilliant. It's location initially sold me, but when I attended my first appointment in January, the staff were accommodating. The dentist was running behind, so I went to do some shopping and gave my number to call when my time was ready, and they did. Can' wait for them to open back up for NHS treatment :)

I made an appointment at quite short notice (around a day). I was seen to quite promptly and the Dentist (Dr Sinclair), I found to be very friendly and professional. I had to get a filling but any discomfort was negligible through the whole procedure. I felt Dr Sinclair was very good at communication what he was doing during the procedure and I felt very safe in his hands! The staff here are great! Everyone is so friendly and always have a laugh when I'm there, which I'm not used to doing at the dentist! I don't fear going to the dentist anymore, the people are great, my dentist Sean is lovely, very friendly and funny. Of you're getting treatment you can take breaks there's no pressure to get it done in one go, which is really good when you have anxiety issues. The only negative is that you are not made aware of the costs until after everything is done, you should be made aware beforehand so you know and make sure you have the money,it's really awkward if you don't! Dr Sharif had to deal with a very complex and daunting situation in at least 5 of my teeth. Due to previous mistakes done by other dentists and me being not very careful, I ended up I could hardly chew. Amir is the most professional, caring and meticulous dentist I have ever found. He called me at Christmas because of an infection, he called me during the lockdown to reassure me, he taught me how to take care of dental hygiene and he saved my entire mouth. If he was a restaurant he would receive 5 stars Michelin!

Excellent practice the staff are very friendly and helpful and you don't have to wait forever to get an appointment, the waiting area is lovely and everyone is very good at what they do. My only disappointment with this practice is that there is a £20 cancellation or appointment change fee if they are given less than 24hr notice which is completely fair except that in my case I booked my appointment on a Thursday for the following Monday and as they are closed at the weekend I was unable to get in contact to cancel in advance so was charged for it. This would have been okay if I had have been informed that this rule was in place before having to pay it as it was a surprise to me. Other than that I would highly reccommend this place as they are not only an excellent dentists for routine checkups but are also good for any cosmetic dental work you could need.

The latest improvement for me is being able to book your next check up appointment six months ahead so you don't have to worry about remembering to telephone when you are reminded that your check up is due. Brilliant dentist. I'm a nervous patient, a lot of people say this but I really am, almost to a phobic degree! But the dentists and all the staff here make it much less of a trial for me and are very patient. They are also great value for money, they have lots of cosmetic options available but never try to push any services or hard sell even when you ask. They do both nhs and private treatment so lots of options are available. So glad I eventually found a great dentist in a great location. Genuinely recommend them, especially if you're a nervous patient like me.

Having not been to a dentist for over 11 years or so, I decided to choose G1 Dental based on a quick google search that was in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. Upon the first time of going for my appointment, I was absolutely impressed with the entire layout of the practice as it was completely modern and extremely clean. On the reception staff, they were extremely polite, courteous and very professional in the way they dealt with my appointment, etc. With my past experiences of not going for good dentist, I can't stress highly enough on how brilliant G1 dental really is as the dentist who was looking at my teeth was very informative of what treatment I required while also displaying my teeth on a large TV in front of me, which did take me by surprise. But for once in my life, I felt that the dentist knew what he was doing. In a nutshell, I highly recommend G1 dental to anyone and everyone who is wanting to go the dentist.

I have been twice for checkups and the service has been quick and efficient on both occasions. Staff are friendly and help you feel relaxed. My only criticism is staff are not ready (in my experience) for 9am appointments, so you need to wait 5/10minutes which isn't good considering it's the first appointment of the day. However this doesn't put me off, and I'm happy to recommend to others.

I had an upper molar implant fitted by Dr Colin Burns, at G1 Dental, today (23/1/18). The whole procedure was painless. I was looked after amazingly well by everyone, (special thanks to Haley) and was kept fully informed as to what was happening at all times throughout my surgery. Colin was absolutely fantastic.....a big thankyou to everyone!! I would have no hesitation whatsoever recommending G1 Dental to anyone who is interested in having dental implants.

Everyone at this practice is very friendly and helpful and the dentists explain everything in detail. The receptionist is lovely and they have Netflix in the waiting room. I really like the flexibility for appointments - they open early and stay open until 7:30pm I think, which is great if you work full-time. You can also register by email and book an appointment that way, and they call or text to remind you the day before you are due to come in. The location, just next to Queen Street Station, is also very convenient. I would highly recommend G1!

My first visit to G1 Dental and all the reviews are right! This reception area is more like a hotel lobby and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a flat screen television playing recent box office hits, comfortable couches and pleasant décor. The private and NHS rates were explained to me and I had a free check-up with Dr. Sloan. I was made to feel at ease and was pleasantly surprised by the modern facilities and technology used. I had a couple of x-rays done, a deep-clean scale and polish and provided with further information about the services provided. This has been the best dental experience I have had by far!

I hate the dentist, always have done, but I may have finally found a practice that doesn't put the fear into me when I need to get work done or even just a check up. After my initial first check up last week, I returned today for a filling and scale and polish. The filling was pain free, the scaling uncomfortable but again pain free. Dr. Sloan talks through the procedures, is reassuring and makes me feel at ease, something I guess that has been missing from past dentists my whole life. I will never enjoy going to the dentist, but g1 Dental is the place for me! Thank you.

My story began with a ritz cracker. A ritz cracker literally cracked my tooth. This was probably my own fault as I never experienced any real problems with my teeth and always make sure to brush thoroughly etc and as such hadn't been to the dentist in over 4 years and that was before I moved to the city so I figured it was time to bite the bullet (or cracker as it happens) and gave G1 Dental a call and went for an initial check up and consultation within a few days. Walking into G1 Dental, the thing that really hits you is that you feel like you've walked into the wrong building. It doesn't look or feel like a dentist at all - it looks more like the reception/waiting area of an upmarket health spa with its flat screen LED TV, magazines which are actually in date, plush seating and modern decor. The receptionists are always super friendly and make you feel at home. So, as for the actual dentistry - absolutely incredible. If you end up with Dr Skene then you will be smiling - the guy is an absolute legend and his work is impeccable. I ended up needing root treatment and some other fillings (go see your dentist every 6 months kids!) but he fully laid out a treatment plan and the cost and discussed the options before going ahead. I've just completed a whole round of treatments and...I know this a weird thing to say about going to the dentist...but it's been a pleasure. I cannot recommend G1 Dental enough. It gets all the stars from me!
