Many thanks to Micheal Kelly and all of the staff at Micheal Kelly Dentistry.. first went to see Micheal around 10 years ago where he fitted two dental implants… never had any issues with them and they look as natural now from when they were first fitted.. I’ve since been back to get a third fitted along with a crown. To anyone looking for dental work I would recommend Micheal and his team… pain free and all carried out in good time. Several friends had recommended Michael Kelly Dentistry to me over the years and when I moved into the area recently it was an obvious choice. I have just finished a course of treatment and I have not been disappointed. Highly professional, very friendly and, in this post pandemic era, very reassuring. My treatment plan was discussed in detail with me and all the options carefully explained. A visit to the dentist is generally not one that is relished, but I can honestly say that my experience at this practice has been 100% positive and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for high quality dental treatment.

As i don't have a google account, i am writing this review using my wife's account. several months ago i had an appointment with Michael to see the best way forward as i have had issues with my teeth for a number of years. after consultation it was decided that the best way forward for me was to have some implants done. from that time on until completion of my treatment the care given to me by Michael was first class, at every stage i was told exactly what was happening and what to expect. Michael, the staff and all concerned with the surgery were all helpful and nothing was a problem. Michael took great care of me and now that my treatment is finished and new teeth are all in place it has transformed my life. i am more confident, i can eat anything i want to and i have a happy smile on my face. I would recommend Michael to anyone simply because of the treatment given and the way in which it was delivered. Thanks Michael for taking care of me

I was so nervous going to MKD for treatment as I had dentures for over 40 years. Michael advised me to have both implants and crowns. I am really pleased with the end result. Time was taken over the shade and shape of my teeth. Everyone at the surgery were very professional and helpful. I am really pleased with the end result. Having relocated, and being a Denplan subscriber, due to constantly wishing to maintain my teeth, I immediately required a new dental practice. I decided upon Michael Kelly Dentistry. This has proved to be one of my very best decisions. The practice nursing staff and hygenist are all extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Michael is calming, inspires confidence and his work is outstanding - I have recently had 5 perfect crowns completed in one day. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him. I have had many years of routine treatment and am delighted to have found this practice, particularly as the dentist is my worst nightmare!

I was recommended to MKD by a family member. My dentist, Mathew McPhee, created and fitted a new crown for me within an hour. No painful impressions were taken, Mathew using a laser camera scanned my mouth and the crown was made in their onsite lab. The crown fitted perfectly first time. I was diagnosed with a temporal mandibular joint problem (TMJ) thirty years ago and suffered lots of of pain. But the new crown improved my bite and within a few days my TMJ was cured. It’s been over a year now and no recurrence of the TMJ. As you can imagine I’m delighted with the care I have received.

I first visited a few years ago to have my first implant, which is why I went back when I wanted to replace the bridge I had and when my veneer needed replaced. I have my smile back they look so natural and Michael and his team put you at ease and really look after you. I wouldn't go anywhere else for cosmetic dentistry.

I came to Mr Kelly following a long, frustrating (and expensive) experience with another dentist which had left me reluctant to smile as the denture provided by them was of poor quality, did not actually suit me and had left me unable to say the letter S! Mr Kelly listened to my concerns and worked with me to produce a new implanted denture, within a given time guideline, which, aesthetically, suits my face, and is a better fit, so that I no longer spit over people when I talk to them! In the few weeks since my treatment has finished I have received two compliments from complete strangers on my 'beautiful smile', first time from a lady at a wedding here in Scotland and the second occasion, on holiday in Tenerife last week, when a Spanish lady crossed a restaurant floor to say the same thing! I was a bit embarrassed, but delighted at the same time...... I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Mr Kelly and his practice. I am a very happy customer (and I smile a lot!)

Again no problem and Michael guided me through every step. The process took longer than normal due to illness. Now I have teeth to be proud of and are a perfect match. For years I have been terrified to go to the dentist but Michael Kelly dentistry solved that for me. I had been to other dentists but none can compare. Only one word can describe Michael...he is a genius. A professional service accompanied by a host of great staff I couldn't ask for anything more. Before I attended Michael Kelly's dentistry I was ashamed to smile due to my discoloured and uneven teeth, the top 4 teeth were de-calcified so it meant that bleaching wasn't having the desired affect. I was also suffering from receding gums on my lower gums due to smoking for several years. Michael kelly was very friendly and professional and assured me that these problems would be addressed. He performed a gum graft on my lower gums so now my gums look a lot healthier and don't bleed when brushing anymore. I also received an inman liner brace which straightened my teeth in a matter of weeks and then I received a beautiful set of crowns for my top 4 front teeth. My teeth are beautiful and I'm always smiling now and recieving compliments on them. I would highly recommend Michael kelly, he is very friendly and approachable and you can tell he takes pride in his work.

I recently in My Early Forties found Myself in the unenviable situation where I was to have All My Upper teeth extracted in Part due to Lifestyle and an Injury to My Face in Adolescence causing me to lose Part of One of My Front Teeth. Since My Thirties I have had few posterior Molars and All Crowns up top Premolar to Premolar and a bleak prognosis for the future. I Visited several Orthodontist/Dental Surgeons specialising in Full Mouth Restorations (Including locally renowned Mr Kevin Jennings - Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer @ Glasgow Dental School whom My then Dentist had recommended), all offered "All on Four" Hybrid Bridge Solutions for similar Cost. I then visited Michael taking advantage of the Free First Consultation after continually hearing his advert on local radio (Initially only for the purpose of another opinion) and for reasons I cant fully explain other than I felt more comfortable in his Surgery and reassured of him and his Manner (which is extremely Friendly and reassuring), and the fact he offered an "All on Six" Solution for the same Ball Park Figure helped seal the deal. Michael explained that there was a long road ahead, never giving an exact timeframe so as not to disappoint (after all no two cases are identical, and complications can and do arise in a small number of cases). I had Six Implants placed around 5 weeks Post Extractions (Due to a Dry Socket in My Right Canine about a week or so later than planned) in the space of around 90Mins The first four were fairly painless with the last two being front and centre and deeper there was a little discomfort (Although had I requested more anesthetic I am sure Michael would have obliged me, In hindsight maybe I should have though as stepping out into a Mid December Evening seemed to trigger some pain, which soon calmed down when I got home and took some Ibuprofen and Paracetamol together). After 8-10 weeks and surgically exposing the Implants from under the healed gums Michael commenced the post surgical stage where Impressions were taken and several Mockups were prepared - Test Fitted - before being returned for minor adjustments/fettling. This part of the process unfortunately is quite time consuming - yet necessary to ensure a good fit and aesthetic appearance in the End Product. The final test fit immediately felt just right though and clearly justified the time taken. I was left feeling extremely happy during the wait for the Final Bridgework to be created and only at this point did allow myself to imagine eating all the things I had been unable to enjoy eating during the process. After the Bridgework was inserted and Tightened to the necessary Torque everything felt extremely secure and snug and looks extremely authentic. I left Kelly Dentists that day extremely pleased with the end result and Immediately went for a McDonalds Breakfast on the way home. It has been around 5 days now and I have been eating like a horse and testing the Bridge fully prior to making final payment (eating had become quite a chore during the final months of the Denture wearing period, resulting in around 20 lb's in Weight Loss). I would highly recommend this type of treatment for those who find themselves in a similar position and although the costs are high the alternative with it's long term negative effects both in Business and Personally in an emotional sense for me outweighed this in My mind. All things considered I am very happy and found My confidence returned in recent days. Thanks to All the staff at MKD for their assistance and welcoming manner - in Particular Michael and Sheila whom I have gotten to know very well in recent months.

MIchael signed me off today as another smiley lady in Netherlee. My first visit in January this year I was in terrible pain , so out it came . My Mum always said don't have anything rattle in you mouth . My situation was clear , I needed 2 implants and 2 crowns and a polish . The girls are so nice which gives you a relaxed feel . A bit of discomfort but fairly easy going , worth a few ouches and a few visits to the bank . Now an AWESOME ! Oh yes an AWESOME ! look .
