I have been a patient here for 25 years. Lynne Price has always gone over and above to be helpful, and has always fitted me in when I've had any problems. She is the most gentle and kind dentist, and I'm gutted that she is retiring, though obviously she deserves to. I am 56 years old and have a fear of the dentists, shamefully I only attend when there is a problem. Well where can I start I had a tooth extraction a very difficult pull as my roots curved into my jaw but the team I had were a absolutely amazing and acted professionally the whole way even when they were under pressure as it wasn’t an easy job from the word go ! Dr Z as I didn’t get the rest of her name and her assistant young lad with the blonde hair and ear pearcing were an outstanding team they worked really well together having a laugh and keeping me informed all the way through the painful process of getting a extraction, Can’t recommend enough! I have been at the dentists quite a lot within the last 2 years as I had many problems to take care of. 2 extractions, 3 crowns and an implant. the service was amazing, they have always done the best to accomodate my needs, always been clear with explanations of the different options and prices, and I have to say, I am a nervous patient, they have always been very understanding and professional. I have seen mainly Dr Ball, and also Dr Chetan for the crowns and would definitely recommend them.

Can't praise this dental practice highly enough - friendly , helpful reception staff who put you at ease both over the phone and on arrival. All the staff are friendly and helpful, those at reception are welcoming and efficient, whilst Dr Price is an incredibly skilled and dedicated dentist. She is perfect with children, calm, reassuring and funny. Our care has been outstanding over the many years of both routine appointments and emergencies - such as a front tooth being knocked out, which was resolved brilliantly. The waiting rooms are comfy and attractive, though appointments are prompt so I have never spent much time waiting. Definitely 10 out of 10.

After breaking a tooth one weekend, I called Ipswich Dental Surgery on a busy Monday morning, after having contacting other dentists that had been recommended by NHS111. I didn’t expect to get much help knowing how stretched all dentists currently are, however Amelia on reception showed such kindness managing to get not only get me an appointment but even making sure I would have time to sleep before my nighttime job as a key worker. Dr Price and her nurse were also both kind and professional and made me feel welcome, whilst being able to end my pain and fix the tooth, albeit temporarily. Visited my dentist today for a regular checkup. Everyone was very professional and friendly ensuring the appropriate covid precautions were in place. I was examined by a new dentist Dr Faizan Umar . What a perfect gentleman. Put me at ease immediately just by the way he spoke and pleasant manner. I initially visited as an emergency patient and was seen by Dr Umar but ended up having to see him three times. At every visit he was friendly, knowledgeable and put me at ease. He discussed treatment with me explaining as he went along. Unfortunately, my tooth couldn't be saved but to say he didnt try would be an understatement!

Had implant done which I was very pleased with the only criticism is that out of the 4 appointments to do the procedure 3 of the appointments were changed 6 times either by a week but mainly the time of the appointment. I also had a filling done after a few months it fell out. I had to phone twice as the promised phone call back didn't happen so after a week I phoned again and could only get an appointment with a different dentist in 6 weeks. This time rather than replace the filling it needs to be a crown. So within 6 months I've had to pay nearly £70 for a NHS filling and just under £300 for a NHS crown on the same tooth? I'm slightly concerned if I had an emergency I could be waiting days if not weeks before I could be seen.
