I cannot recommend The Lighthouse Dental Practice highly enough. Due to a broken bridge and other issues I was in dire need of treatment.Dr Mark Davis and the team fully explained the procedures and costings after an initial consultation,and with my agreement the work began. Several appointments later I now have an excellent partial denture and can smile again.The care given during, and after,each stage was first class. I would like to send a big thank you to all concerned.

I cannot believe I had treatment done by the hygienist Angela and nurse Lilli , I was so terrified and Angela came out and instantly made me feel not so scared, also Lilli kept talking to me to help my anxiety. I would recommend anyone to recieve dental treatment here who suffers with anxiety and absolutely terrified of dental work .Also Mr Tocca the dentist was also brilliant hence why I came back, I can't thank them enough.

I choose the Lighthouse Dental Practice after researching the options to refurbish some worn teeth with several dentists. I had an initial consultation with Dr Tokka, when the pros and cons of the different solutions were presented to me to consider. No pressure or encouragement to go down any particulate route, rather the review was objective and certainly a thorough appraisal of the treatment options. I elected to go with a composite ‘build up’ - I had the first treatment two days ago and I am delighted with the result. The care and attention to detail was outstanding. I felt privileged to have such a skilled technician undertaking the work. Thank you so much. I certainly recccommend the practice and I feel this testimony is well deserved. I little recognition for your care and great work hopefully goes a long way…

Had my first ever tooth extraction which I was very apprehensive about but Dr Kate Ranson put me at ease. She was very attentive and explained every step as it happened, always checking on me and how I was feeling. She was very reassuring and as I said when I left " I wouldn't say it was enjoyable but it was not a stressful or painful experience." I would highly recommend Kate and Lighthouse Dental Practice. They are very diligent and caring and every member of the practice are friendly and welcoming which is what you need when you're having treatment on your teeth. Not only does he have a reassuringly calm manner, he's the first dentist in 34 years to acknowledge the phyiscal jaw problems I have. The dentist I saw was Kate Ranson. she was friendly, explained everything clearly and in everyday terms. I had a filling today and I can honestly I barely felt anything, she was gentle and thorough with it and I had no sensitivity either, in the past with dentists. She has a professional , caring and gentle manner about her and as someone who suffers with anxiety issues I felt very relaxed having treatment today. She’s the best dentist I’ve had to date. Would recommend her . The receptionist is always friendly and professional too. Feel lucky and Very happy to be a patient at this practice.

I haven’t been to the dentist for a very long time and was very confused about what I needed and many places I called said they didn’t quite understand me or said they couldn’t accommodate me but I had a fantastic experience with the receptionist here called Donna, she asked me about the troubles I have been having and chatted with me about the best options I could take and the different treatments available and then even gave tips on how I can ease my pain until my appointment comes. I am an extremely nervous patient due to some past childhood experiences as well as a recent emergency dentist experience and unfortunately this has left me with a general fear of Dentists. I chose the Lighthouse dental practice as it mentioned specialising in treating nervous patience. I needed a tooth extraction due to previous childhood dentistry ineptitude and was not looking forward the the experience. Dr Tocca took great care of me during both my first consultation appointment and today when i had my extraction. I have to say thank you so much to Doctor Tocca for your incredible professionalism and skill and making me feel at ease at all times, i never felt any pain or discomfort and your treatment was superb. I would recommend the lighthouse dental practice to anyone who needs treatment, especially if you are like m and have a fear of dentists. My fear of dentists is now cured thanks to Dr Tocca, so a massive thank you! 5 stars does not do this Dentist justice!

I have been a patient at this practice for a number of years and I can’t see myself going anywhere else. This is by no means my local dental practice but certainly worth driving in from out of town. Who enjoys going to the dentist? No one of course but this team are so friendly, welcoming and professional, you will really feel at ease from the moment you step through the door to be greeted by the friendly receptionist to the moment you leave after your treatment. Dr. Codrin Tocca is a superb dentist, always happy to discuss concerns and explain things clearly. My visit today was to hygienist, Angela Leech and from her friendly welcome I was at ease immediately. I really liked that she took the time to explain every part of the treatment and why it was being done, she also offered lots of tips to help me and gave me a demonstration of how I should use my electric toothbrush and interdental brushes for best results. If you want a friendly, safe, professional dental practice , look no further.

Lighthouse Dental Practice is by far the best dental surgery I have ever been with. It is not only the quality of the technical dentistry that is outstanding, but also the personal quality of the service. As someone who can become very anxious about having dental work done and used to have to be sedated at my previous surgery, even for the smallest of fillings, at Lighthouse Dental Practice the sheer quality and high standard of personal service has taken me to the point where I’m having root canal work done without sedation. This is due to the trusting relationships that staff build up with patients, largely based on excellent communication and support. I would recommend this surgery to anyone, without reservation, especially if you are an anxious or nervous patient.

The best dental practice I've ever been to!!! Before signing up to the Lighthouse, I had only ever known NHS dentistry, and thus was amazed at the undeniable difference in level of care, patient information and attention to detail provided here. Furthermore, being a substantially nervous patient (due to horrible past dentist experiences) I feel confident that when I go in for an appointment I will be treated with respect and consideration for my anxieties during treatment. For example, I recently went in for a filling and scaling with Dr Tocca (which I was quite nervous about) and was assured that if I felt any pain I could halt the treatment and be given extra anaesthetic or even be sedated if I was too uncomfortable, making the whole experience easily bearable as I felt completely numb during the procedure. Yes, private dentistry is more expensive, however I personally would never go back to an NHS dentist after finding a place as exceptional as the Lighthouse; I would much rather pay the extra fees for the elimination of anxieties and being able to work together with the dental team to improve my dental health (of which has greatly improved since joining!!)

This is a very special dental practice! From my first phone call to my first visit, then my first lot of treatment the team made me realise that it is possible to have pain free treatment. I have a phobia, but this kind caring team are helping me get my smile back, little way to go still, but I'm going to do it with their kind, caring dedication. It was my first time to this practice and I was very impressed. There is a very convenient car park directly outside the front door and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The reception area is well thought out with a few toys for the kids, magazines, BBC news channel and fresh water available. I saw both the hygienist and Dr Tocca. They made me feel comfortable and explained in detail what they were doing and what they saw. This is a very professional outfit with an outstanding friendly service.

After doing research of dentists in Ipswich the lighthouse dental practice stood out for me due to the claim that they specialise in nervous patients. From the moment I made the phone call I was put at ease. On the day of my appointment I walked into the surgery and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist- just what you need when you have the nervous waiting room dread. Susie was friendly, chatty and really reassuring that most people are nervous! Dr Tocca is known for dealing with very nervous patients and the moment I met him I felt reassured he wouldn't pressure me or put me out of my comfort zone. Dr Tocca sat down next to me and asked me why I was so nervous.. with this in mind he could change the way in which he treated me. Dr Tocca took xrays and explained in details my teeth and the treatment I will need! Usually I dread having to book treatment appointments but I can listen to my music whilst Dr Tocca carries out his work and we will have signals if we need to have a break etc. I walked out of the surgery feeling confident that I will be heading back and getting the treatment I need without feeling ashamed or embarrassed. I thoroughly recommend Dr Tocca and his team especially for nervous patients!

After arriving at Lighthouse Dental Practice for an emergency appointment, I was relieved to hear from Dr Tocca that the extreme pain I was experiencing would subside with antibiotics, and there was hope for my decayed molar. Over three further appointments, he thankfully saved and restored my molar with root canal treatment.
