C. R.I'm a bit of a nervous patient and today's visit was great! I was dealt with patiently, with compassion and kept informed of the whole process along the way. The team are professional, friendly and I wasn't kept waiting (sometimes that can add to the build up of anxiety). Overall a successful visit!

A. D.I have experienced two inspection visits to this practice and have not required treatment so my comments only relate to inspection. The staff have on both occasions been very polite. The dentist on both occasions clearly explained and discussed all aspects giving advice where necessary, and explaining options and probable future treatment that should be kept under review.

L. L.I had a recent short notice appointment at the practice as I had chipped a tooth leaving a sharp edge which was catching my tongue. The issue was resolved very quickly by smoothing off the rough edge and the outcome was very satisfactory so pleased with service

I had lost a crown from my front teeth and the dentist explained what she was going to do at my further appointments and cemented my crown back on and through all my appointments I will not be without my crown. I left the dentist knowing I could smile again.

V. U.I avoided the dentist all my adult life up until a few years ago, because of heightened anxiety about dentistry and also needle phobia.
Since being a patient at Guildhall, I have finally been able to start fixing the few issues with my teeth (namely, multiple cavities) and although I struggle with anxiety every time I go (even to a checkup, let alone a treatment session!) the staff are friendly and easy to communicate with and this helps ease my worries. From the receptionists to the dentists and assistants, it’s a nice environment there.
It was always my crippling anxiety that held me back from getting dental care and treatment, and although none of us like actually going to the dentist, the staff acknowledge when you’re feeling anxious. Eg the dentist let’s you have breaks if it’s too much, and keeps asking if you’re ok.
This is the sign of a really good dentist, and the work I’ve had is also really good (I have NHS treatment, not private). I would rate and recommend them. Even though I don’t think they’re now currently accepting any new NHS patients.

B.On previous visits pre covid it felt friendlier but due to the backlog/workload its clear youre under pressure as the dentist herself was doing everything as quick as possible & it felt a little gruff. Front desk didnt seem to share the urgency of the dentist though & seemed more lackadaisical. Totally understandable considering how things are & appreciate you still being as good as can be.

Had a few issues with my teeth recently, mostly caused by my own poor care, the practice have been exceptional at fitting me, which has really meant I have not had to be in any pain longer than necessary. Even if it is hard to get through on the phone, they ALWAYS get back to me, the front of house staff are polite and friendly both on the phone and in person. My own dentist is exceptional, she does the most incredible finish on any work, she is friendly, but you know she wants to get on with treatment and I appreciate that. The practice is modern and bright, so handy for town, parking in the area isn't brilliant, but that cant be helped.

J. P.Guildhall Dental Care have always given me excellent caring dental treatment. Now that they have improved the attitude of the reception staff they are now a superb dental practice.

T. H.I couldn't recommend this place more they are super friendly and will happily give you plain simple advice on keeping your teeth in the best condition they can be. Dr Arej Elmangoush and her assistant really went out of her way to make me (someone that is terrified the dentist) feel comfortable and relaxed.
