Excellent professionalism. Have had root canal work and a wisdom tooth extracted on separate occasion. Both were a non issue. Painless, without drama and in case of the tooth extraction I was not even aware it had been completed. No complications after. They do a great job!

Bow Lane Dental Group is by far the best dental practice I’ve ever had the pleasure to attend. I just wish I’d discovered them years ago! Having always been a nervous dental patient, who dreaded every appointment with previous dentists and hygienists, I can’t believe that I now actually look forward to going to the dentist! This is due in no small part to James Goolnik, who I trust totally as he’s honest and doesn’t carry out unnecessary treatment (unlike my last dentist), and to my wonderful Hygienist, Sarah Urquhart. She is the most gentle and thorough Hygienist I’ve ever had and she does a fantastic job when she cleans my teeth. She also gives great advice on maintaining teeth and gum health. I cannot recommend this practice enough. My husband is also now a patient and he too is delighted with the care he gets.

You might be a nervous patient who finds lots of reasons not to attend the dentist. I typically am that patient however can I say this is the first practice that actually enjoy attending. Everyone at the practice has a kind word - whether it is a hygienist you are seeing or a dentist my experience is that they treat the patient with the same care as if the appointment was for their very best patient. Bow Lane Dental is the best Dental practice I've ever visited. As Americans new to London, my wife and I didn't know where to start when looking for a Dentist. We decided to give Bow Lane Dental a try after reading some expat community forums, and we couldn't be happier with the service. Bow Lane is professional, punctual (neither of us have ever experienced a delay past our appointment time), and extremely high quality in the dental care they provide. We had some significant work to be done between the two of us and found that the dentists and hygienists were very gentle and cognizant of pain management. More importantly, their recommended treatments have worked exceptionally well -- since starting my treatment regimen I no longer experience any bleeding when I brush my teeth each night! I could not recommend this practice more highly.

Highly recommend Stewart! I had peg lateral composite build-ups for my second two front teeth as they were naturally smaller than average with one being particularly tiny. I’m so happy with the results my teeth look lovely and straight and as symmetrical as possible with no damage to my natural healthy teeth! The treatment also has a 3 year warranty. If you don’t like the shape of your natural teeth do yourself a favour and book a consultation to see what they can do!

She is continuously reminding me to brush my teeth and ensure that I keep my gums healthy during treatment and to stick with those habits post-treatment. She has managed to get in contact on several occasions during the Coronavirus lockdown to check in with myself to see how I'm progressing and that my retainers are still fitting on correctly. I've always loved the modern technology they have used such as their impression scanner, which is a big improvement on having to bite into the material! Renate is an orthodontic therapist and kindly donated £10,000 worth of therapy to NHS staff! I'm an NHS nurse and wouldn't normally go to such a fancy location, so firstly I was really grateful to her for offering her services for free to me. Secondly, it was great to have a proper clean after a year of not being able to access my local hygienist. All that happiness aside, it was the most comfortable clean I'd ever had - almost painless throughout, none of the usual grimacing and waiting for it to be over. Renate pointed out some new decay I wasn't aware of and advised me about options for teeth straightening which I have been considering for while. I was lucky to recently be enrolled for the Smile for Life program which is a service offered by Bow Lane Dental, including an annual check-up, three hygienist appointments, teeth whitening and other goodies. A great package all in all. I was greeted warmly and professionally by Marcel and his team, with the COVID precautions I needed to follow explained to me clearly and calmly. I had my first hygienist appointment in over a year with Brooke who was jolly, informative and took very good care of me. A follow-up appointment was immediately booked in the following week to check up on my progress. This review is regarding Renate the dental Hyginist: Renate has been my dental Hyginist for quite a few years now and I would happily recommend her to anyone I know. She is constantly reminding me to brush properly and floss, and even got me addicted to flossing for the first time in my life. I’ve had gum disease for as long as I can remember and thanks to her treatment and guidance that is now long gone. She is very personable and sweet, and even made sure we found ways to keep the routine during lock down. She is always gentle and accurate and makes the treatment itself completely pain and discomfort free, while still reaching a great outcome. The equipment used also seems to be top of the range and some tools (like the scanner for example) I have not seen used in any other dental clinic. In short, couldn’t be happier with Renate, would highly recommend to anyone seeking a top notch hygienist.

I have been a client of the clinic for many years and have always been impressed with the quality of service I receive. The team is friendly and efficient, from receptionist, to hygienists and dentists. Each member knows what they are doing and has always been professional and passionate about their work. My current dentist Selvy has always been brilliant and really thinks for my needs when she gives me advice. When I was pregnant, she took extra precaution with checks and limited the use of X-rays. She always takes time to explain the pros and cons to me to help me make informed decisions and I felt comfortable asking questions. I have many tricky fillings that are deep or had been done badly before which she skilfully restored. She has a great sense of humour and carried out challenging restorative work with ease. The hygienist treatment carried out by Sarah is excellent as well and always left my teeth feeling refreshed without any discomfort after cleaning. Throughout lockdown James has personally took his time to provide online advise, then had root canal treatments with Sameena, hygiene treatments with Brooke that were all done to highest standard. They managed to get my dental phobia vanish. So sorry for everyone here but this is going to be a long review. I was in a bike accident 2 weeks ago with stitches on my lips, 2 broken teeth near gum level with pulp exposed and 2 chipped side teeth. And during lockdown, I was panic, I was concerned because I know that if the teeth got infected and got into my bones, then it's over. I was trying everywhere but the latest root canal appointment I got was way too late. Desperate, I came across Bow Lane Dental and James was super helpful, he did all the test to my teeth, check my gums and Xray my teeth real nice. However, the latest he can get for me was the week after. Of course I was sad but that's the earliest out of all the dental clinic I visited. However, just 30 minutes after I left the clinic, the reception called me that they can book me in IMMEDIATELY at 3.45PM on the same day!!! I was definitely going for it and my Endodontist Sameena was super helpful along the way. I was so nervous because it was my very first canal treatment. She put some anaesthesia onto my gum then injected some more onto my gum which honestly didn't hurt at all! Then afterwards the whole root canal treatment was a pleasure because she did it so accurately and efficiently, she asked if I want her to explain a long the way but I was too scared so I put my trust in her haha. Afterwards, she shaped my new temporary teeth and honestly, even though it's temporary, she made it as if they were my old teeth (in one piece of course). I could not be more grateful. Then she proceeded to make an appointment for me to check it again next month and if everything is fine, I'll get my new crown!!!! I cannot recommend them enough because they don't do it for the money, I can feel that they genuinely care for your teeth well-being. I have been doing researches on prices of dental practice around London, some might say they are a bit pricier but imagine this, would you pay £100 more for a job that will last for decades or would you pay £100 less for a job that will cost you more money along the way? Not to mention that my lips were super swollen so a big round of applause for James and Sameena for finding their way to my gums! Long story short, thanks the team so much! And I will see you soon for further treatment and hopefully will be one of your regular check up in further future!

I used teeth whitening gels from Bow Lane for about 10 applications over two weeks and the results were the best I had experienced from a teeth whitening product. My teeth are normally very stubborn when it comes to teeth whitening, and I previously had to apply the gels for 3-4 weeks to get results. However with the new gels I noticed progress almost daily. Also my teeth were more sensitive than normal during the day, which my dentist told me indicates that the gels are working. I am very happy with the gels compared to other products and would choose Bow Lane Dental next time.

I have wanted to have my teeth whitened and corrected for years, as I had two accidents when I was a child and chipped the front teeth, plus by the lottery of genetics they were also yellowish in colour! I Googled dentists who offer treatment, and stumbled across Bow Lane Dental, and in particular James Goolnik. I was very impressed by James's qualifications, and his position within UK dentistry, and decided to take the plunge and book a preliminary appointment. I'm now very pleased I did. At my first appointment I was completely reassured by James, and completely confident that I had found the right man for the job. I was very anxious about the treatment, and my main concern was that if I had veneers fitted would they be protruding? James assured me that they wouldn't, and that they would look perfectly natural. I was quite prepared to have up to 12 veneers fitted to achieve the look I would like, but James advised that I should start with just 2 front veneers to correct the damaged teeth, and then have a whitening programme to lift the colours of the other teeth. Excellent advice. I could have been talked into the 12 veneers at huge expense, but James was honest, offered me sound advice, and saved me a small fortune! Last Monday I went and had the temporaries fitted, and this Monday James removed them and replaced them with the actual Durathin porcelain veneers. They look fantastic, and I am completely delighted. The whitening has transformed the yellow teeth, and the matched up front veneers have given me a perfect bright white smile. If you are considering having treatment then I would highly recommend James Goolnik at Bow Lane - honest, professional advice, and a superb caring dentist. Then I met Zaki at Bow Lane. Zaki was the first dentist that believed that removable retainers could work in my case. He combined different straightening treatments (including the Inman Aligner and the Invisalign) and less than 2 years after our first meeting my teeth are now straight - both the upper and lower set. Around 18 months ago I developed facial pain, that was diagnosed as being a blocked sinus. I underwent sinus surgery, only for the pain to remain. Having lost faith in the NHS, I carried out my own research and that led me to see James at Bow Lane Dental, as I suspected I may have problems with my TMJ joints. James confirmed there were signs in my mouth of jaw clenching and grinding during the night. He skilfully made a mouthguard for me to wear during sleep. That mouthguard has made a HUGE difference to my life. It limits the tension build up in my face during the night from teeth clenching. Subsequently I've had MRIs carried out, which have shown that both my TMJs are damaged, practically dislocated during jaw movement. But thanks to James I've got something that helps mitigate the impact of that damage. A very skilled dentist, and the practice staff are lovely, as are the surroundings.
