S. P.I was referred to this dental surgery by my usual dentist for treatment on a damaged tooth, after a very thorough consultation I decided to go with the whitening treatment offered. Dr Patel was absolutely fantastic, each visit throughout the treatment she was very informative and talked me through what to expect. I am so delighted with the results! I wouldn’t have thought it was possible for such a dramatic improvement on the appearance of my teeth. I would highly recommend this dental surgery

My dentist Yasmeen is reassuring and explains everything so clearly and I feel I am in safe hands and a big thanks to Sade the hygienist who provides a truly professional experience. I would highly recommend this practice!

ALEX at reception is always keeping me updated with any cancellations, is very efficient and always greets me with a smile and banter when I come. She's a an asset to that team.
DR. Shivani Patel and Folasade have provided 10/10 treatment for me and have gone out of their way to ensure I have a good experience.

S. A.After a while I got around to making an appointment at my dental surgery, Bupa Dental Surgery South Woodford. Firstly I was met at the door by a lovely lady who asked me to sanitise & gave me a couple of forms to fill in to update their systems. I took a seat in the waiting room & by the time I wrote my name I was called to room 2 (very quick service indeed). I was greeted by the assistant & the Dr, her name was Dr Sana Rahim, she is new to this Surgery. I cannot tell you how at ease I felt with the descriptive information & advise she gave me on her examination. It was absolutely amazing to the point I was so relaxed & comfortable. I have not had dental service like this for about 5 years now. I would highly recommend you think about changing your dental services if you are not happy or are looking for a new dental surgery that’s just amazing. Not forgetting the two lovely ladies at reception, they were bubbly, chirpy & very helpful. Also their etiquette on the phone to clients were what you would expect from a Harley St dental surgery. It’s feels so good to be able to write such feedback. Just amazing all around. Bupa Dental Team I applaud you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

R.Was in a lot of pain earlier I found the dentist to be extremely sufficient and very gentle and the receptionist who booked me in liaised with me all day from morning when I called up to booking me in when there was a cancellation; I’m a very nervous patient who avoids the dentist like the plague but just want to stress I had such a great experience! From the receptionists chit chatting with me while I was twiddling my thumbs nervously to the dentist and her nurse being very patient and explaining everything to me calmly; I just don’t believe some of the reviews below people seem to forget we are still in a pandemic and things haven’t quite gone back to normal if you respect their protocol then there shouldn’t be any issues. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family!
S. M.I have been to this dental surgery for the past 11 years for annual check ups and frequent treatments for various issues. Yasmin has always been extremely efficient and clear in her treatments and as I told her, she is the best dentist I have had in my 40 odd years of dental treatment. I’m sorry to be moving away but would recommend her to anyone needing NHS or private treatment in the Woodford area.
T. S.I have nothing but good things to say about this surgery. I HATE going to the dentist and had avoided it literally for years, but I knew I needed a couple of fillings and wanted to get them sorted out. This review is based on a visit for a checkup, and another for fillings in May 2021.
The staff on reception were great, I had to fill in some forms on my first visit but they made it clear which parts I had to complete and assured me that everything was covid safe. Very friendly and professional.
I'm a very nervous patient and I tense up a lot in the chair and can be quite jumpy, but the dentist I saw (I didn't catch her name unfortunately) was amazing. She explained everything that she was going to do before she did it so that I knew what to expect. I was never shamed or belittled for how my teeth were, which I have been in the past at other practices.
When it came to the fillings, I was given options between silver and white and all the prices were laid out before hand - they are also available on the website. I am an NHS patient but was given the option of private white fillings should I want them. I was at no point under any pressure to be up-sold to pay more. All decisions made were clearly my own after being given ALL of the information. I decided to go with silver as the fillings were on back teeth.
I just don't believe some of the negative reviews I've seen. I received top class care, and would recommend this surgery to anyone and everyone. A massive thank you to everyone who helped me at Bupa Dental Care Woodford.

Her patient service skills should be highly commended and acknowledged. Similarly my dentist, Shivani was brilliant. She keep me at ease throughout and explained things really well.

Alex at the front desk she is so sweet very polite and friendly always smiling (bless her) so are all the other staff members and Doctors. Dr Shivani treated Me in January I was in so much pain. She took care of all my dental issues with such firm hands pain free. Doc Bolly she really helped Me get rid of my pain she is so sweet so polite so friendly. She treats you as one of her own. I can not thank Bupa dental care enough for always accommodating my needs at a professional level of service. I never have to wait to be seen. Appointments are always available considering they are so busy.

T. E.Wanted to leave a review as I have been here twice now and had a completely different, and hugely positive, experience of Bupa in S.Woodford.
My dentist was amazing at explaining exactly what she was doing at every step.
Very warm and considerate to the discomfort the proceedures can cause, she kept making sure that I was OK and to let her know if not. I felt very well looked after and at ease. A model professional example I thought.
Two fillings later this morning, which in my case were painless, I have now recovered and love the work I am left with.
I'm booked in for a check up in 6 months and recommending my partner to sign up too.
Experiences can vary and we all have our opinions due to these, but wanted to give my experience and it far surpassed my expectations after reading these reviews. Oh, and being a NHS patient, I was given clear information about the costs and pro/cons for each option and was not pressured into any over the next. So money was not a driving factor as someone else mentioned.

I had an appointment with hygienist Mahak and i really impress with her politeness and professional expertise. She did cleaning very gently without causing any discomfort to my mouth and final results were amazing .
My overall experience was great and i highly recommend bupa dental .
T. L.Havnt had an official appointment yet but on a Saturday was worried really needed an appointment fast. All other dentists were either closed/not taking onboard NHS patients/ had a 3 months appointment wait or waiting list to even register but this dentist got me registered over the phone and got me an appointment winthin the following week. The receptionist was very understanding, swift and extremely lovely.

E.First visit since takeover was a total shambles, the receptionist was useless the follow up visit was better and dentist was good, hopefully future visits will improve. I have revised my stars much improved and an excellent dentist has treated me, I still don't like going though!

R. F.I attended a hygienist appointment with Sade and I was very impressed. Sade is clearly experienced and highly skilled. She made short work of the clean despite me having some problem areas that needed extra attention. I also did not experience any pain and minimal discomfort which is a first in 19 years of hygienist appointments. She then gave me practical and pragmatic advice without going into too much detail and mirrored things my dentist had said without the benefit of X-Rays. I would highly recommend Sade. Appointment booking with the practice was also smooth and there was good communication and reminders sent.
