I have been visiting this dentist for over 3 years now and I can honestly say its by far the greatest dentist I've been to. My dentist is so informative of my care and needs and gives me great advice on my treatment and she's generally a lovely human being. I would highly recommend Damira to all friends and family

Generally a nice practice however my 7 year old was turned away because we were nearly 10 minutes late. After having rushed home from work to bring my very anxious child for her appointment where she waited 6 months, she was in tears when we left! But they always make us wait sometimes over 20 minutes over our appointment time so i think this was very unfair. Not happy at all about this.

My family use this dentist, I live outside of London, I was in pain with my left bottom wisdom tooth for over a month couldn’t find any appointments with dentist where I live and my family told me why don’t you come to London and try this Damira dentist they are really good we been using them for long time and we are very pleased with their service. So I decided to come to London and when I call them I got an emergency appointment straight away. When I went there everyone was so friendly from the receptionist to the dentist. The dentist who did my wisdom tooth extraction was so friendly, experienced, confident straight away I felt I was in a right place. She got rid off my fear of going to dentist because I had a bad experiences from my past dentist. After I been to Damira I could tell the dentist I have been in the past wasn’t experienced at all. I can’t thank enough the dentist who had done my tooth extraction, after been with the pain over a month I felt I was going to die, people who go through tooth pain they know exactly what I’m talking about. Couldn’t eat properly because it was hurting so badly i had to keep taking painkillers to control the pain. Thank you to everyone who helped me at the Damira dentist I’m even so grateful to you. In the future if I need any dental treatments I will come straight to you I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

As someone that is petrified of dentists I cannot fault Damira one bit! During Covid, the health and safety measurements have been amazing. I felt totally safe in their practise. Deepti is really helpful and understands some patients don't find being at the dentist a very comfortable experience, but she makes you feel really calm and relaxed. Constantly making sure you're okay, keeping you informed of what they are doing etc. Thank you so much for my root canal - I would never have imagined getting it done awake before!

I've been a patient at the Damira Dental Practice in Highams Park for a couple of years now and, as far as Dentists go, it's always been a good experience. Apart from a mix up with a payment last year, I've never had any issues. Nice helpful staff - everyone from whoever is on reception to the hygienists to my dentist (Deepti Vara), who is friendly, knowledgable and very thorough, it’s everything I can ask for. Admittedly, I had been nervous about visiting since the Covid pandemic started but I need not have worried, they have good protocols in place - I felt very safe.

I am giving 4 star for the dentist, in terms of the practice, policies and customer service of the practice is poor. One new receptionist is absolutely dogmatic and have no existence pragmatism. It's a shame they have changed the receptionists and hired this non existence customer service receptionist. It has been a difficult year for everyone and people need to be empathetic.

I do think dentists should be employed by the practice not be made to work on a self employed basis though.Liability is pushed onto self employed dentists themselves I expect which in turn tells me any such practice is either worried about this liability or wants to reduce risks by pushing it onto the very people that make all the profit for the practice. Brilliant all round service though.

I simply went to this practice for an OPG scan, as referred by my local practice, and the dentist, Dr Sam Khan, who was doing the scans on the day was more than a breath of fresh air she was beyond informative and so encouraging. I was close to wanting her to take over my care, she was fantastic.

Both the dentist and dental nurse were also very friendly, discussing the work I needed and explaining the procedure and cost (I am an NHS patient) putting me at ease throughout my visit. I highly recommend this dental practice and am exceptionally pleased that I found it after many attempts to book an appointment with other dentists only to be told they couldn't see me for 6 months due to being an NHS patient. I always feel cheated when the dentist never gives me a scale and polish which is included in the NHS check. They always want me to see the Hygienist and pay extra ...... also I had my appointment during Covid and they contacted me 4 times to make sure I would arrive and how the new regime would work, considering I’ve never ever been late or missed an appointment I thought 4 messages was insulting my intelligence rather !

We took our girls (3 and 4 years old) for their first dental check-up. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman with a friendly smile at the reception. While we were filling out the reg forms, he kept our girls busy as they were very excited and were talking to him the whole time. Few mins later, a dentist arrived and introduced herself to us with a big smile on her face! (I have to say, I have seen many miserable people in other NHS practices so this was a lovely sight for a change). Girls went to her ready to be taken upstairs! It was a great start. In the room, the dentist explained to them everything she was doing and both girls had a little 'ride' on the chair! They found it very cool. At the end of the check-up they both got a Frozen sticker each! I have to say, I was a bit worried before we arrived, but it was the best experience we had and a very professional approach to a patient. Very pleased overall and we'll be back in 6 months for another check-up! Thank you.
