I suffered a traumatic dental experience elsewhere, and this lead me to ignore my dental health which subsequently declined... Even when I went back to the dentist who caused my trauma to give them a second chance, they refused to see me and told me that my dental health is my own responsibility. However, I will not go into great detail here, since this review is for Gentle Dental... Sheena from Gentle Dental saw me right away and did not shy away from what needed to be done. She most definitely lives up to the business name Gentle Dental. With the first treatment, not only did she stabilise my dental health, but she also single-handedly obliterated my fear of dentists. I cannot speak more highly of Sheena. She is a true professional with a genuine sense of duty and provides an amazing service with impartial advice. To boot, she is a lovely person whom I very much look forward to meeting each time!

I used to suffered from severe gum disease for over a decade. My dentist in New Cross referred me to Gentle Dental Care Group for Advanced Gum Care (“periodontal” treatment) and dental implants. I had my first appointment with Dr Mish, he suggested we sort the gum disease out first and then consider implant care for the really bad teeth. I ended up having gum treatment, 3 dental implants, expert bone grafting and 6 implant teeth with a full lower front bridge. The whole procedure took about 6 months and it was carried out with great professionalism, care and attention to detail. Everyone was very kind and nice and the aftercare has been outstanding. Dr Mish is so good at explaining everything at each stage so well, he really guided me through the process. As my case was advanced I needed to go with someone that was qualified (look at the letters after his name) and after seeing his cases and just meeting his passion and enthusiasm just blew me away. My treatment is now completed and I am very happy with my implants, my confident is back, I don’t have to worry about biting an apple or gum pains anymore. The results are absolutely brilliant and I have fixed teeth and continue to maintain my gum hygiene with the hygienist. My whole life is just simply better, as I can be myself again! I very much recommend the Team and Experts and Specialists at 391 Gentle Dental Care. Anyone thinking of having treatment, just do it with them it's your health and smile - and they are the best and I felt it was worth it!

Last year I was referred to Gentle Dental Care for an extraction and implant for a tooth as it was hypodontia. I can wholeheartedly say Dr Bomfim is an excellent consultant dental surgeon with a gentle manner but firm when necessary as she wants you to have the best possible outcome. Dr Bomfim was very indepth during the consultation with a very clear follow up email with an outline of the full treatment and clear pricing of what I would and wouldn't need. There was no pressure of what I should have, but tailored to what the viable options were for me. Even during the treatment phase, she was very considerate, explained every step of the process and answered all of my questions. My treatment overall took approximately 9 months. Implant surgery is not an overnight process! Dr Bomfim wanted my gum health to be up to scratch in advance. Then we had the surgery day; extraction plus placement of the abutement. Thankfully I didn't need a graft. After that I was off for a few months to heal and to ensure I wore my guard every day to prevent movement of the teeth which would make placement of the crown difficult. I then returned for the crown. There was nearly a delay in the making of the crown but Dr Bomfim and Dr Lalani ensured it was delivered to the clinic in time for me. The crown is now fixed and in place with Dr Bomfim having completed a check afterwards and providing me with detailed aftercare advice for the rest of the life of the implant. Everyone around me asked why I wasn't going abroad for a cheaper option but to be honest with the amount of pre-, during and post-surgery appointments you have when having an implant, I don't see how it would be feasible to travel back and forth which would mostly cost you the same amount as receiving treatment here! From my initial referral by Dr Lalani, booking via the reception team to the dental nurses and Dr Bomfim's care, I cannot recommend this place enough. If you choose to go with treatment with Dr Bomfim, you will be treated by a highly knowledgeable, caring and brilliant dental consultant. You will be in great hands!

The reception and service lives up to the name GENTLE CARE is what you get ! Just had one hour session of treatment - only praises for quality work I received - and I'm a easily critical and nervous person in a dental chair! Easy five stars and plus .
