Lost a filling in June 2020 during the first COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown. Following the lifting of restrictions, my dentist of >15 yrs declined to see me, reporting I hadn't visited in 2 years. Called several dentists in 2021 and all declined. Went Private which was expensive and the service, a great disappointment. Months later, I was really grateful when Greenwich Dental Practice accepted the referral from 111. COVID guidelines implemented at the surgery and all forms completed on-line prior to visiting. The receptionist and front desk staff were all professional and very polite, particularly Val. The dentist Dr Adebiyi was highly knowledgeable giving me extensive advice on the cost of saving the tooth vs having it extracted to save further imminent distress. He was patient and allowed me to make choices without duress and I am pleased I took on board his advice as I am no longer in distress. Thank you Greenwich Dental for an exceptional service.

The staff were friendly and professional the treatment faultless however I developed a cold sore on the side of my mouth which I had the procedure. I know cold sores reoccur but I have not had one before. I think equipment which was used might not have been cleaned/ sterilised properly hence the three stars. It is my hope that closer attention will be paid to the cleaning to avoid clients suffering afflictions like this.

I rarely write reviews, but I would like to share my experience. I was sent there by 111 as my tooth broke and I was in a lot of pain. They managed to accommodate me quickly and I paid for my appt over the phone. I am an extremely anxious patient. I have a childhood trauma related to dentist so I avoid it as much as I can. I saw a female dentist called PJ and she was absolutely amazing. She was kind, caring, professional, she listened to me and explained everything that she was going to do. Im so grateful, it was a quick procedure and eventually pain free. I would love to come back and see if I can possibly have a further treatment there under sedation. Thank you PJ for being the best. I recently had a dental emergency. Which i was seen by Olawale Adebiyi I did not have a great experience on this occasion I waited an hour to be seen. When i was seen the dentist was very preoccupied with the air-conditioning not working. Also telling me I was no longer an NHS patient ( I am) He put in a temporary filling without actually telling me what he was doing until after it was in and sent me to make another appointment. Thankfully at my next appointment I was seen by Anira and she was brilliant she did such a good job repairing my tooth, talking me through it all and making sure it was comfortable. Reception staff were busy but still efficient and polite. I'm disappointed that this practice isnt seeing people for routine NHS check ups yet. I felt for a while there was an issue with my tooth and wanted a check up but I wasnt seen as it wasnt an emergency. I understand the wish to protect staff during this pandemic but many staff had masks below their nose or off completely in communal areas (this was in communal areas not in treatment rooms). Also there was a few people without masks in the waiting room . I understand it is very difficult to police all of the time but with such strict rules on who can be seen when, I expected the practice itself to be very strict on this matter. I have still given 4 stars as Covid is difficult to navigate and at the end of the day my tooth was looked after during a pandemic and I feel lucky to have it repaired really well in the end.

She then did a superb job with composite bonding to create a totally natural look and I am really happy with the results. The practice is efficient, modern and welcoming. All the staff are great.

My dentist, Poonam Jagatiya, is amazing - she puts me at incredible ease and has really improved my dental/gum health over my time here. My 60+ parents and I have all recently been to Greenwich Dental Practice for our routine check-ups and some dental treatment, and we can all confidently say this was probably the most positive experience we have ever had with any dentist. We felt that Dr Poonam's calming nature made us all feel at ease on the chair (which is usually a daunting experience for me personally). I had to have a lot of work done on my teeth, including multiple extractions, and I have endured many unpleasant experiences at other dental practices in the past. This practice, however, is completely different from those, all the way through. The receptionists actually pick up the phone quickly and are helpful, friendly, and accommodating, and my dentist - Ana Luisa De Souza - is without doubt the best dentist I have ever encountered, privately or on the NHS. I am normally very nervous at the dentist, and had come to get treatment for a broken molar and crown. Dr. Poonam Jagatiya has a natural ability to put you at ease. My crown replacement I needed was complex due to colouring, and shape. She advised on material, colour, and ensured the lab provided me with the perfect crown. She also put a temporary filling in my molar, and historically I had horrific experiences of where the dentists didn’t ensure I was numb. She ensured I was comfortable through all of my treatment, and relaxed. I am very thankful for her treatment, and would highly recommend her.

Hi, I am so grateful and appreciate the care that I have received during this pandemic from this clinic. Firstly, Dr.Mehrdadad Semeskandehi is one of the brilliant dentists ever, he was polite and gentle.I just came from their clinic and he removed my teeth without me knowing, l have no other words to praise him, he was the best and helped me with my pain that i had for about 2 weeks. I have been to many different dentists but none of them are better than him not even 50 % as good . l would give him 10 stars if i could based on the appointments l had with him. had a horrendous toothache that had kept me from sleeping from sunday 12.00am till 3.00pn monday 5th oct 2020. rang my dentist whom wanted 40 pounds to see me but no procedural treatment to cure my tooth ache. i had a large hole in one my lower molars, i knew it would to a root canal to fix it. i almost gave in to my dentist due to the unbearable pain i was in. Bu t i refused to pay that money and not get the situation sorted. i rang the nhs emergency line and the got the Greenwich Dental Practice to contact me. i asked if i could get an appointment that day and was informed they were fully booked. so i agreed to an appointment for the next day. as soon as i put the phone down my toothache went through the roof. i knew i couldnt take the pain any longer so i rang back the GDP and pleaded for them to allow me to come to the offices on the off chance that someone might cancel and maybe i could get seen. i turned up they were really nice and empathetic but no one had cancelled. fortunately one appointment did not take long and i was able to be seen. i had a root canal which didnt take long and completely sorted my problem. thank god for this practice and these lovely people gotta say Chelsea was extra special! oh and it only cost 22 quid.

I tried to get appointments in local dental practices which was disappointing as they couldn't take new patient either they don't have NHS appointments. Having been an NHS Commissioner for ten years I can recognise excellence when I see it. Greenwich Dental Practice is excellent. All the staff I’ve met have been consistently both caring and highly professional and represent a wide and diverse ethnic range of people. Yes, there’s even a white make receptionist, one who also is extremely competent! The Practice have met all my family’s dental needs for over three decades. Their premises (adjacent to Greenwich Station) have benefited from a large renovation project, including a disabled toilet and a lift. I am disabled myself and certainly appreciate the investment. Every dentist is highly skilled and none more so than my regular dental surgeon Mr .. I’d supply his name but don’t want him to become even more booked up! The Practice is imo far and away the best in the local area, both in NHS and private work. Don’t settle for second best!

Having previously had emergency work done elsewhere in Greenwich, I stumbled on this dentists completely by chance. So my regular dentist (CK) started working here earlier on in the year and so i moved dental surgery with her, because she is the most absolutely loveliest, most kindest, most gentle dentist I've ever had (& trust me I've had some horrible dentists!), who makes me feel comfortable & she listens to what i want and tells me exactly what she's doing step by step, she always helps me & does what's best for me & i feel Genuinely cared for, so i totally trust her, she really is the best! I've had to use the other specialist branch a few doors away for some extra work i needed done and at first i was a little apprehensive because someone else would be treating me but i tell you what, the lady that did my treatment yesterday (MR) was so nice & patient with me throughout the surgery even when i got really nervous, i couldn't have asked for a better experience. Also all of the assistants at both sites are super nice aswell.
