I recently completed Invisalign with Max - he made the whole experience easy and stress free. Is he openly contactable to answer any questions you may have. Max always ensures to fit your appointment in, regardless of how busy he is. For anyone looking for a dental practice in the local area or looking to start Invisalign, I couldn’t recommend Max enough.

I cannot recommend Pura Dental Care enough! Max Pura has been superb! I have had Invisalign, Whitening & Composite Bonding. The results speak for itself. Throughout the 8 month process there was never a time I felt uncomfortable or unable to ask questions. When I wanted to pursue a further course of Invisalign for some minor changes Max's response was always "I want you to be 100% happy". There is a fantastic environment in the practice and for the first time ever I looked forward going to the dentist. Thank you Max & Pura Dental Care!

Wow what service. I walked in with a dodgy tooth that needed a crown. One hour later I walked out with a new crown. New 3D laser technology created a perfectly fitting crown, thanks to Max and the team. The team are wonderful. Covid-19 precautions well and truly in place. Great customer service. Felt totally safe. I have been with this dental practice for many years, since before they moved to New Eltham, I have always found them extremely professional and wouldn't want to go anywhere else, even though, for me, the journey I have now is not as easy as their previous location! Laura the dentist is very thorough, and gives advice on cleaning etc. if she thinks I am not doing it quite correctly! All the staff are very friendly and chatty and make you feel very welcome.

Their high tech and quality same day dental crown treatment is amazing which saves lots of time. I had an excellent experience being treated by Dr Laura Lim and her dental Nurse Ann. I arrived with multiple issues with my teeth. Dr Lim helpfully informed me of my treatment options and most time and cost effective way to resolve them. Her dental work was thorough with great attention to detail. I would not have even known she was giving me an injection had it not been for her informing me of the process. I found Ann to be very warm and reassuring and a real comfort as well as doing her job effectively. I would highly recommend them. Even my 5yr daughter asks to come to the dentist to see them.

When I've used other Dental Practices in the past, I've been left feeling very anxious and unsure about having dental treatment. Unfortunately this combination put me off attending on a regular basis even though I knew this wasn't good for me. Everything changed after it was recommended that I visit Laura and the team at Avant Garde in New Eltham. Laura (Dentist), Annie (Nurse) and Jilly (Reception) are wonderful at helping me to feel relaxed and well cared for during my visits. Any treatment that is needed is always well explained and has never made me feel remotely uncomfortable but it has certainly made a huge difference to the overall health of my teeth and gums. The improvement has made me feel much happier in myself (I think I actually smile more now) and I can't thank the three of them enough. Things have changed so much that I no longer feel anxious about going to the Dentist and I'll be attending on a regular basis from now on. Rob

Unfortunately I'm not born with the best of teeth so am very picky with my dentists. Laura was introduced when my existing dentist became unavailable and I'm very happy. She is very nice, gentle, easy to talk and explains everything clearly. Anne (assistant) and Gill (receptionist) transferred from my old dentist and they are both great. Always smiling and to have a good chat with. Going to the dentists is never fun but I'm happy to keep going back.

Fabulous Dental Practice and very well equipped with all the latest technology. Laura (dentist) and Ann (Dental Nurse) work very well together as a team and are very gentle and patient. They explain treatment options in a clear and concise manner. Laura and Ann are very welcoming and never rush you. Receptionist Jill is very helpful,and does her best to accommodate appointment requests and is always cheerful and friendly., parking outside is restricted until 11am but Jill will provide a parking permit if requested. Also the Surgery is on many bus routes and just a few minutes walk from New Eltham Station so travelling here is very easy by any method.

In my view dentistry is convergence of science, art and communication skills and Max is master in all three. In regard to skill, Max is second to none and makes the difficult look extremely easy. When I saw Max few months back to have my wisdom tooth extracted, I had painful memory of extracting another tooth by another dentist few years back but Max done it so skilfully that the whole process looked very easy. I recently had my 6 teeth filled with the highest standards you can expect. Max communicates every step clearly that put me at ease. I had a dental implant completed for one of my front teeth by the implant specialist Dariush. He has done an amazing job in both placing a strong and stable implant, and straightening and whitening my teeth. Throughout the dental work he was thorough and meticulous in his work, to ensure that he produced the best outcome possible. The team at Pura / Avant Garde Dental Care is customer focused and personable. Both nurses and receptionist services denoted flexibility when required, as well as a high degree of professionalism in various circumstances. In my experience, if and when possible, a relationship with any physician has to be based on mutual trust and, like all relationships, there has to be an element of personal synergy. Therefore, if meeting a new physician sets off instinctive alarm bells, it may be wise to shop around! Dariush Hoshyar's provided me with dental care for a number of years. Dariush is a high integrity professional with excellent interpersonal skills. These attributes enable him to translate sometimes complex, jargon - laden procedures into layperson's terms and lighten up the whole experience of sitting in the dentist’s chair. This approach also means that the patient will always have clarity on the available options as well as on a recommended course of action. Although Dariush specialised in cosmetic aspects of dentistry, such as implants and reconstruction, his knowledge covers all necessary elements of dental care and he’d always refer the patient to a colleague or an external specialist when required. This means that the patient will always be in safe hands and receiving the best available care. Having recently experienced some fairly intensive procedures, I am exceedingly pleased with the results and I would not hesitate to recommend his services. Keep up the good work!
