I have been using Salisbury House Dental Practice for a number of years and Ian has been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and professional throughout this time. For the last few months I have been using the Inman Aligner to correct alignment of front teeth, as recommended by Ian after a thorough consultation. I have just finished the treatment and the results are in my view excellent. Ian was always clear about setting expectations and keen to discuss the different options. He was great at discussing with me throughout to ensure I knew exactly what was happening and what the progress was. All in all a top dentist and thoroughly recommended.

I have known Ian for many years both as a friend and a client of Salisbury House Dental Practice. When I decided to look into an implant supported denture last year I approached Ian, who advised having 4 implants to support the denture and after careful consideration I decided to go ahead. Ian introduced me to Professor Francesco D'Aiuto who would be performing the surgical implant work, and he advised me regarding the different options that were possible. In June 2018 we agreed to go ahead with the surgery, which went very smoothly and was largely painless. Following completion of the surgery Ian started work on preparing the denture. There followed appointments for the measurement and fitting of the denture. All the work has now been completed and I have received a wonderful denture that fits perfectly, I can only describe the result as magnificent. I would describe Ian as a perfectionist who provides a very professional service. I see Ian on a regular basis for check-ups and his hygienist every 3 months. I cannot praise Salisbury House Dental Practice highly enough for their services and I must also mention all the staff, who are an asset to Ian’s surgery, together they make an extremely trustworthy team.

Dr Greenwood is a great dentist: very thorough and caring. He listens well to concerns and gives useful, practical advice for continued dental health. He and his assistants were always gentle whenever I went there for cleanings, which is very much appreciated as a rough cleaning is never pleasant! Dr Greenwood also remembers his patients, which does wonders for having a positive, personal experience. Finally, you can't beat the location of Salisbury House Dental, which is just a stone's through from Hammersmith tube station. I would definitely recommend this dentist!

Ian is a really nice person,interesting, listens to you, friendly, does not rush you and explains things. The practice is modern, clean, spacious and an excellent location for my work. I avoided going to the dentist for years until it was absolutely necessary. To be honest I would still rather avoid all dentist but thats not an option. I trust Ian. I'd recommend him.

I contacted the team at Salisbury House in reference to teeth straightening, I got a quick response for the first appointment and immeidaetly felt comfortable, and for someone who feared dentists for years that was hugely important for me. The professionalism and friendliness of Ian, Diego & Marta from the initial consultation to the final appointment can not be faulted. I went for the Inman aligner treatment and although to begin with I struggled they were constantly supportive and now I am exceptionally happy with the results! I throughly recommend both the Inman Aligner treatment and the dental practice with its wonderful team.

I've been using Salisbury House Dental for three years now with 6 month check ups including hygienist and I think the service is excellent. I initially found Salisbury Dental due to tooth ache which turned out to be severe tooth decay leading to root canal. Not something anyone looks forward to but I can honestly say there was no pain at all, always felt the service was highly professional throughout including quartz crown finish. A year later a best friend also need a root canal... an easy referral. My friend also found the service to be skillful and professional.

I've been meaning to write this review for ages now. I cannot recommend Ian Greenwood highly enough - the man is a genius. I've avoided dentists for too long (I blame childhood trauma but I think I'm just a bit wimpy) but when a small stone in a sandwich took out an old crown, my fears had to be confronted. Without any pain at all, Ian sorted the whole thing out and I ended up with a far better result - two much stronger crowns and a way better aesthetic as well. The whole process was about as much pleasure you can get from a trip to the dentists and I'm so pleased to have "discovered" Salisbury House. I recommend them all the time and people always tell me they have had equally great experiences. dw

I went in for an emergency appointment for an infected wisdom tooth and was not only seen straight away, but given an appointment later that day to have an extraction. Dr Greenwood explained everything in detail - I don't think I've ever enjoyed a visit to the dentist, but this was an absolute pleasure! The follow-up call after the weekend to check if everything was okay just topped it off, my own mother didn't call to check up on me, but Dr Greenwood did!

Salisbury House is an exceptional dental practice. Led by the talented Ian Greenwood - a dentist with the gift of sensitivity and profound skill. Ian has long experience in the more complex aspects of dentistry including for example reconstruction. The team is augmented by other huge talents - Salisbury House are able to conjure expert specialists in every field depending on patient need - a Professor of Peridontics at UCL came to my aid for example. And then there's Marta. A gifted Dental Nurse - Marta is vital to the experience of the surgery. Attentive, hugely skilled and constantly trying to make the process comfortable. Above all other dental nurses she has two exceptional skills - always letting the patient know where we are in the process (always hard to assess from 'the chair') and always bantering with Ian and making the experience as light hearted as possible. And the whole thing runs on rails thanks to the background work of Diego on reception - a man capable of arm twisting a lab to deliver caps and plates in hours not days. Sure enough Ian sets the tone but the team produce the melody. I broke four teeth in an accident last summer and have spent rather a lot of time with them all. These things always take time but every step of the way has been a pleasure. Thank you Ian, Marta, Francesco and Diego - you were fantastic. wx

I can’t recommend Ian and the gang at Salisbury House highly enough. They are so knowledgeable, kind and straight-forward, my Inman aligner process felt like a breeze. Ian made every effort to see me at times that worked for my schedule, and put me straight at ease every time. The results have been incredible, and took very little time to achieve. It really was worth it!

Very gentle and very skilled. My husband and I have been coming to Ian for years (twelve?). We used to live much closer, but still come even though we live a full hour away, in Greenwich. Wild horses wouldn't drag me away from this dentist, and I've really put him to the test with crowns and a root canal. Thank you Ian. : D

Probably the best dentist I've been to. Did cleaning, filling, whitening. Everything that needed to be done was explained clearly at the start. Great dentistry work. Quotes where accurate and there were no unexpected charges even if the whitening process required a lot of appointments due to a de-vitalized tooth.
