Best dentist ever, I remember I came in for a check up and told the dentist I was getting married in a week or so and he was annoyed that I didn’t tell him in advance so he could add more time to my appointment. He gave me the best deepest clean ever to make sure I had a Colgate smile on my big day, I’ve never seen him work so hard with so much limited time I was amazed by his work. The best dentist ever and he is always positive and happy when I see him.

I attended the Practice on Friday 7th January 2022 for a filling. I came to the Practice extremely anxious as I am a very anxious patient and was on the verge of having a panic attack. I just want to say now that Dr. Sergio was absolutely phenominal and an absolute credit to the Practice. I came in and explained as a new patient to him that I was a very anxious patient and was very nervous due to previous bad experiences with other dental practices. Dr. Sergio was very understanding, calm and reassuring telling me not to worry and allowed me to put headphones in and listen to music and it was honestly the most smoothest filling I have ever had. Thank you so so much to Dr. Sergio as well as the whole of the Stockwell Dental Practice team. I shall continue to come to your practice and shall recommend your practice to my friends in London.

Diane was great at advising me and reassuring me after a nasty accident meant I needed 2 specialist root canal treatments. Both procedures went smoothly and 6months after the first and 1 week after the second all seems in good order!

I had a very good experience at Stockwell Dental Practice. All the staff was very friendly. When booking via phone and also in person. The dentist and the dental assistant were very professional, knew their stuff, and were super pleasant! Also felt very safe as good measures for covid safety: + I was asked to fill in all the required forms beforehand online (less interacting in person) + Everyone wore PPE, the whole place looked super clean and the room had been clearly sanitized before I entered for my checkup Would definitely recommend them and will be using them again!

I hadn't been to the dentist for a long time, I had some worries about it all. But the treatment I got at the practice was excellent. Dr Nisha was thorough with me and I felt in great hands. I had a hydrosonic clean and two fillings. It was quick and smooth.

I was referred to the Stockwell practice by their sister practice in Clapham South for Root Canal work. Wasn’t looking forward to it! I wish I knew the name of the dentist I saw because I can’t recommend him enough. The initial consultation was not rushed and he was incredibly open about the work he was going to carry out, explaining it well and giving me options to consider. The work was painless and by lunchtime, the anaesthetic had worn off and I was back to normal without any pain. The surgery felt well managed, welcoming and their Covid processes were consistent with each patient that walked in the door.

I have the best dentist ever, he’s funny and engaging, that takes the edge of the possible pain one might feel! The staff overall are amazing, professional and always helpful, the premises are near a station therefore commutable, hygiene is paramount and having attended during the pandemic I must add that is safe and very organised.

I was happy with my appointment the other day. Although when I was leaving I booked a private hygienist and I was asked if I would like appointment a card with the appointment on it or if I would rather the text. I chose the text as it would be easier for me to add to my calendar. So I waited a couple days for the text and email but did not receive anything. So of course I called to ask because I had forgotten the details since I was expecting an instant reminder to be sent to me after leaving. I was told that I had not been sent the reminder because I had not paid my deposit yet which I didn't know I needed to. I paid the full amount because I had the money to do so and and received the notification instantly. I would just recommend this info about needing to pay before receiving the reminder is made clear before a patient leaves.

Very nice dental pratice. Clean and tidy. I was well received by the nurses at the reception desk, they started my new patience form and did it very quick. Didn't wait long to be called up to my dentist. My dentist was very helpful and gave me good tips regarding my issue. Will be back soon.

Thiago isn’t only in my opinion the nicest dentist but as a person he’s so kind n caring and very dedicated to his patients.... I have recommended others to him and to this practice. The practice itself is one of the nicest dental clinics I have ever very been too.. I feel that this dental practise cares more about their patients than the patients money....I’m so so glad I am a patient here.

I have been a patient at the Stockwell Dental Practice for maybe 10 or 11 years. My dentist, I believe his name is Diogo, the Portugese dentist, I would highly recommend. He is very polite, attentive and gentle when I had a cavity. We have built up a good relationship over the years, where he remembers me and we have a good understanding if I feel pain, then I wave my hand. So I feel relaxed and comfortable. Which is what you need to feel when going to the dentists. Diogo pays close attention to your dental health needs, gives sound advice, answers my questions and concerns, as well as providing outstanding customer service. Definitely the best dentist I have ever had. I have read some comments about the reception staff. However I have never had any issues with any of the staff in all the years I have been attending appointments. I have always been seen to on time and I do not have to wait that long for an appointment. I am a polite person myself and I am respectful of others, so in a way I have always got on well with the receptionists. As there is a significant Portuguese community, as well as Portuguese speaking nationalities such as Brazilians in the area, no doubt you may be asked what language you speak, if you need assistance with translation. Yes the building is a little cramped. But it is based in an old building. I believe to be a converted house. This is an NHS dentists after all. You will not expect to have plush surroundings, unless you pay to go private. I never find the reception that busy, but I normally try to book a morning appointment, where the dentists are not so busy and the staff are more alert. But the staff are lovely, the place is always clean and tidy, customer service from the receptionists, dental nurses and my dentist I would give 5 stars :)

I’m very happy with the treatment I’ve received from Stockwell dental practice. What I’m not happy about is being constantly asked from everywhere I go for feedback. If I wasn’t happy I wouldn’t come back, having to spend time constantly writing reviews is a pain that annoys me no end. Especially as I’ve ignored requests but keep getting reminders that I really don’t need. Looks like I’m going to have to opt out of this process in the future!

Fantastic covid precautions, organized and I felt very looked after. Just went for a lookup but it was very efficient and professional. Apparently they do struggle with people not showing up for their appointments, make sure to cancel if you can’t show up! Otherwise you’ll others wait forever to get an appointment for nothing.

I hate going to the dentist, avoided going for years, and only started going properly regularly about 3 years ago. Alexa, at the Stockwell Practice, is efficient and thoughtful and gave me great brushing advice. Highly recommend for any nervous dentist-goers.

The quality of service here is good and I’ve never had any issues. What is frustrating is the fact that they only have a hygienist available on Saturdays. I’ve had to start using another local surgery for this as it doesn’t suit my working hours and also having only one hygienist session per week means you have to book many weeks in advance to get an appointment.
