Toni, Chris, Sally and the team have been amazing over the many years our family has been with the practice. They helped me get back on track with taking care of my teeth but also made sure i was set up to have a positive association with making regular visits to the practice. I would say they're no nonsense but in a caring way so you understand the options and outcomes available to you. Sally always works hard to squeeze you in to appointments or work out the best payment plan if it's required. Chris actually made me look forward to going to a hygienist for the first time ever and you can tell she loves her job. It's clear Toni expects the best service and experience for her patients which explains why the core team have been together for so long. It really is like a family there.

The Gentle Dentist is our family dentist and we cannot fault it. The atmosphere as you enter is incredibly friendly and relaxed thanks to the wonderful Sally. Toni is unbelievably professional and we all feel totally safe in her hands. My youngest child had a tooth removed and it was dealt with such sensitivity, any anxieties disappeared and since, loves visiting for her check-ups. Keep up the fantastic work all 👏👏

The Gentle Dentist team are amazing. Very good with nervous patients through their encouragement and consistency with the dental approach. Our mission was to save my teeth. It’s a scary realisation to be faced with no teeth and no option for implants before the age of 50. Now, many many years since I walked through the GD door, I’m happy to say I still have the majority of my teeth and last year, for the first time in over a decade, I was able to bite into an apple. If dentists are scary to you too or you just want to feel more confident with your smile then The Gentle Dentist is the place to go.

Excellent professional care and attention covering fillings to crowns and implants. Dental work of 20 years remains as good as new. As an anxious patient the best place to be. Having avoided seeing a dentist for a decade due to past experiences and sheer terror, I had nearly written off getting my teeth fixed. This place was a revelation and experience here was incredibly positive. Everybody at the gentle dentist was so understanding of a fully grown adult behaving like a child as soon as I sat in the chair and they could not have made me feel more comfortable or at ease. Having had a fair amount done, I am chuffed with the results of their work, and the use of a monthly payment plan made it affordable, even for a hospitality worker in the middle of a pandemic. I won't say I'm looking forward to going back but the thought seeing the dentist here no longer keeps me up at night.

I came in for a routine check up & Dr Tony found i needed a couple of fillings, he ensured that i was pain free and comfortable, giving me options of what type of filling i would like. I first came to Gentle Dentist around 2015 as a terrified patient who needed many root canals and other work. The team were very caring and helped me get through the extensive treatment needed. As a person who has extreme discomfort when confined to the chair and having tools etc in my mouth, I cannot believe I got through the treatments that had to be done. It's all thanks to the brilliant team at GD. Today is April 2018 and I have just come back for a check up. Although still nervous, the team once again put me at ease. For any person with any kind of dentist phobia, I definitely recommend this place!

I have been a long standing patient of the Gentle Dentist. I initially went to see Toni on a recommendation from a colleague who waxed lyrical about Toni and her practice! And I never looked back! Since then I've had significant orthodontic work and have been wonderfully looked after by David. The welcoming committee aka Sally is a breath of fresh air. Not only warm, friendly and inviting but helpful & concientious. Everyone at TGD is brilliantly thorough, diligent, kind and caring. Someone will always see you - if you're in pain or something's happened to a retainer, fixed brace - you will always get an appointment! A great team of professionals. I'd not go anywhere else!

Myself, wife and 2 children (now adults) have been treated superbly by Toni and her team for over the last 30 years. I cannot fault any of the treatments prescribed suffering no after effects. There are other more expensive dentists around not necessarily practising in London.

In the past I've had very bad experiences with dentists. So when I was having severe dental problems brought on by years of neglect, I researched dental practices very carefully and decided on The Gentle Dentist. I'm very glad I did. Went in January in agony with migrane-level headache that lasted seven weeks. Turns out I had three abcesses (under crushed teeth), eight further teeth that were infected under old fillings and loads of gum disease. Spent eight hours in the chair under sedation while all the work was done. Was cared for very well when I came around from the sedation, felt only moderate discomfort when the anaesthesia wore off, handled by (somewhat large) doses of ibuprofin. That eased up in a couple of days and a 49-day headache was gone. In 50 years of visiting dentists, I've never had such good dental care.

I had the miss fortune to fall and break (smash) 14 teeth, I cannot begin to describe the pain and complications that followed. What I can tell you after experiencing a large number of dentists the only one who was gentle and carried out work which is still in place today is The Gentle Dentist. You will find cheaper, you wont find better.

I can definitely recommend “The Gentle Dentist” for the simple to the most complex procedures. All the experts are there under one roof. They come to you rather than you have to chase all around London to different consultants and hospitals. Yes the fees are a little on the high side, but you just simply have to pay for quality.
