I don't write reviews very often but feel the urge to on this occasion. I am a very nervous patient as I've had bad experiences with dentists in the past. I have to say though that from day one Kanita has made me feel very relaxed and at ease every time I go and is by far the best dentists I have ever been to. I've been a patient at this practice for over 25 years now and have always been happy with my treatment there, but particularly since Aneeta has been my dentist and Suraj, my hygienist. Suraj especially is amazing. I have an issue with my jaw that can make appointments stressful and painful for me, but he is a very calming presence, and very patient with me when I need to take a short break mid-clean. His care and advice is excellent too.

Woodhouse Dentist Team are the golden standard of dentistry. I have been going there for just over 4 years now. My teeth and gums are much better than before. My hygienist Suraj, has improved my gum and teeth health dramatically and gives me great tips and advice on cleaning my teeth and gums. He is friendly and professional at the same time and you do not need to hide, on how often you clean your teeth. He will tell you the consequences (in a positive way) and you will change your attitude on cleaning for the better. Also my dentist Dr Khan is very professional and friendly as well and has advance skills as a dentist. He get's referrals from other Dentists to do more complex surgery. On my teeth I had 2 front crowns which my underlying teeth needed fixing first and my new crowns are 1000 times much better to the ones I had from a previous dentist. I would strongly recommend to take your children to Dr Khan and Suraj from a younger age. They will look after them and they would never want to leave the practice, even if you lived 100 miles away, as many people travel to Dr Khan's practice as they are that good. I have been attending this practice for the past 16 years. I cannot think Dr Khan and his team enough. From reception staff to the dentists, Dental nurses and hygienist all very caring and professional. My children had a great experience with the hygienist. Both were quite apprehensive about attending, but Suraj was very reassuring and patient with them. Suraj has explained the technique of brushing and which areas to focus on, in addition he has shown them how to floss. Both really enjoyed the experience, and said they would focus on brushing and flossing.They both have mild gum disease which they were quite surprised at. I am confident this will make the kids more aware of looking after your teeth. Thank you Suraj, Dr Khan and team:)

The staff at Woodhouse are all so friendly. I had a fantastic service today and last week from my hygienist Suraj Bhatt. I was very nervous at what I thought would be a traumatic experience at first but Suraj was very fun, friendly and put me a lot at ease. He did a fantastic job at giving my gum & teeth a good clean and gave me very clear instructions on what to use and did little tutorials on how I can keep my gums & teeth healthy from home. Guys, I can’t recommend this service enough, the state of my teeth & gums were getting out of hand and now my teeth & gums are on the road to recovery!

Dr Khan has been a god send. I visited him in early February about a painful wisdom tooth, a temporary filling was put in and an appointment for an extraction was made but then lockdown happened, delaying the removal indefinitely. Over the subsequent months, I experienced multiple infections and frequent bouts of discomfort, throughout these Dr. Khan was ready on the phone with advice and reassurance. As soon as restrictions were lifted, he saw me promptly and removed the bad tooth, reassuring and calming me through the procedure, amidst the added anxiety of the pandemic both for him and his team and for me as a patient. Dr Khan is a consummate and compassionate professional and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. He is a true credit to the profession of dentistry.

When the practice was relatively newer, Dr Khan was available to NHS customers and he never disappointed. However as the practice flourished owing to his skill, he dropped NHS patients in favour of private patients which wasn't very nice. Even so, he'd make an exception once in a while to see the older clients. However what irks me, is that they are constantly pushing clients to make appointments with the hygienist which aren't covered. You'd go in with a specific problem and they'll ensure that you make an appointment with the hygienist before the doctor saw you again. Also, unfortunately as there isn't a step free access, I had to look for a new practice. I do wish Dr. Khan the very best as he is an exceptional doctor.
