Amazing!!! I cannot thank Carisbrook Dental enough. I was terrified of the dentist after previous bad experiences, I kept putting off going to the dentist, hated my teeth and lacked confidence. After reading the reviews on this practice, I took the courage to contact them and haven't looked back. From the moment I made contact to visiting the practice, everyone has made me feel welcome, they are all kind, caring professional staff. I felt in very safe hands everything was explained and treatments were not rushed. My dentist Rhys, his nurses Harry and Pam have all been fantastic. Angela the hygienist has done an amazing job cleaning my teeth. After various fillings and extractions which I may add were pain free, my teeth are now healthy and can finally smile with confidence. I no longer feel the fear of going to the dentist, all round it's been a great experience and educated that visiting the dentist isn't a bad experience. I hope this review helps anyone who feels like I did, don't suffer in silence, make that call and get the help you need. Thank you so much to you all.

Everyone at Carisbrook is extremely helpful and kind, making me and my husband feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. My dentist Rhys Gwyn and his nurse Harry have both been incredible. Both kind, caring and you can tell that they love the work that they do. Everything was done with passion. I have been a patient of Carisbrook Dental now since 2008. I was originally quite embarrassed when I joined as my teeth were in a poor state having neglected them for years and researched a dentist for a long period of time. From day 1, Tariq and Robina put me totally at ease and worked on a plan for me to get my teeth stable and healthy again. I have been a patient ever since and I am no longer embarrassed nor nervous when I visit the dentist and this is down to the professionalism of Tariq and Robina whom I would 100% recommend to anybody looking for a caring, friendly dentist. I have also been visiting the hygienist and again, Angela is superb, very patient and puts me totally at ease. A truly brilliant team.

My experience at Carisbrooke dental was professional and friendly.Tariq was my Dental Consultant for my implants and Angela for my hygiene, lots of time was taken to thoroughly explain everything at every appointment, I'm very happy with my results and my implants are amazing and just as I had wanted. Angela the hygienist is so lovely and very caring, she is happy to provide advice and answer any questions. I never felt under pressure to make any decisions and was encouraged to consider all options before deciding on a course of treatment. The move from a good NHS set up to Carisbrook has been well worth it. I’m not the best of patients as I am quite nervous at the dentist but the kind care of Dr Tariq Idrees has been excellent. Always patient and informative at every stage, I would rate my treatment as outstanding. All options and processes are carefully explained, with even technical aspects clearly outlined and there is a strong sense that you are receiving the latest dental techniques in a modern facility. And I would like to give a special mention to the assistant dental technician and specialist anaesthetist for their gentle care. And many thanks to Tariq who continues to deliver his expert, calm, patient and reassuring care, this time for an implant and associated work. 12 October 18 Just had a bone graft and implant and am highly pleased with the outcome. I found, as always, the treatment from Tariq friendly, gentle, expert and professional. I am delighted with my new dentist Jamie Bird. This was my second appointment with him. On the first appointment he did a front tooth filling which is excellent. You can't tell it is a filling! This appointment was just a check up but he did my clean and polish at the same time. Elaine, the dental assistant is great too and as always very welcoming. I would recommend them to anyone.

A recent visit to see Dr Idrees, highlighted a number of issues with my teeth, not picked up by my own dentist (the practice agreed to see me even though I am not registered with them as I have experienced issues with the temporary fillings provided by my own dentist) and, thankfully, I am due to start some permanent treatment with them soon. The practice is very busy but the appointments are not rushed and they are even open on a Saturday. My husband has also received exceptional treatment. I would recommend this practice, without hesitation, for their care and friendliness but also the level of professionalism demonstrated by the whole team.

I was recommended this practice by a friend so I felt very confident that I would get a good experience out of it. The staff was very welcoming especially the reception team. The clinic is 10/10 clean and felt like safe environment to be in as they followed the COVID guidelines. However, when it comes to their whitening treatment that’s where the points drop. I was VERY specific about the shade I wanted when it came to teeth whitening.. there’s your most wanted Hollywood smile which I said I wasn’t aiming for so perhaps one or two shades below. granted my teeth weren’t the most perfect and when I first started out my teeth were 2/3 shade above the darkest shade (based on pictures taken on my phone from the dentist) I’m not a smoker and don’t drink either (occasional cup of tea.. but who doesn’t). After speaking to both the hygienist and dentist, booked several appointments (and I mean several) just so I could ask questions about whitening as I wasn’t sure which would be best for me to try either the £350 or £650 enlighten package they both insisted and recommended I go for the £650, which is the typical option to offer. As I work in sales so I completely understand the need to offer the more expensive package deal - I didn’t mind paying that amount as I had saved a bit of money so no complaint there. After weeks of following the given instructions to a T. I purchased the whole entire oral b whitening range (no joke including an electric toothbrush with whitening heads) basically everything the hygienist and dentist recommended I bought. Finally started my treatment, 2wk in came in to see the dentist to get a final round of whitening and gave it a week and started to notice a lot patching which I showed the dentist and said just needs another month to settle. A week after my teeth started getting darker so I went back in again and was told repeatedly of this product “guarantees a B1 result” “it is 100% guaranteed to give the result you want” etc .. that’s all I kept hearing yet wasn’t seeing the results when I went in for my final appointment the dentist I was seeing changed his tune after I told him I wasn’t happy with the results and said “I don’t think we can give you the result you want” and that my teeth were on the darkest end of the spectrum (which as I said before I have pictures and weren’t at the darkest) and then proceed to book me an appointment to fit me in for braces (when I said from the very beginning it was not what I wanted as I opted for bonding once the whitening treatment was done ) I would’ve preferred if I wasn’t sold dreams and told to purchase the more expensive treatment. If you knew you couldn’t do it please don’t take advantage of people from the start. I’m now out £650 with nothing to actually show for it.

My wife recently had an appointment at Carisbrook Dental Practitioners in Whitefield, as she was told she would require specialist root canal treatment. Her usual dentist was unable to perform the root canal surgery as a specialist surgeon would need to perform the treatment. The appointment was in February 2021 during the Covid-19 lockdown so extra personal protective care had to be taken before, during and after the appointment. She is a nervous patient at the best of times but the staff put her at ease with their friendly and professional manner. She was really impressed with the level of care taken by the team at Carisbrook considering the circumstances. In the end it was discovered that treatment was not necessary, and the appointment was finished more quickly than anticipated. The cost was also much lower than estimated and it was reassuring to know that the practice has the integrity to be honest with their customers. Would she go back, 100% without a doubt. I was referred to Carrisbrook dental to have root canal treatment on a tooth, as my own dental practice don't carry out this type of dentistry. The practice is easy to get to by car, and has a secure car park to the rear. After signing in with reception, I only had a short wait before I was called through to the surgery. Dr Daniel Turner, carried out the procedure on my tooth, and I was put at ease from the start right through to the end of the treatment. The process lasted around an hour and a half, but thanks to the local anaesthetic, was pain free throughout. All-round, excellent service from beginning till end. Thanks Neil

Having been patients at the practice for 43 years, and seen various dentists through their careers, there has always been a smile and welcoming person on reception to greet you. The service provided by the various dentists has been gentle and exceptional. The hygienists have all been sure you leave with a pearly smile and the current hygienist Angela is lovely. Glen was our longest serving dentist for 25 years, a gentle man, smiley, and really down to earth, but has recently retired, replaced by Jamie who we met for the first time recently, and on first impression will be a great replacement for Glen. We hope to remain not just patients but friends of the practice for many years to come.

Quality of care at Carisbrook is excellent. I normally see Dr Usman who is incredibly knowledgeable and is an expert in his field. His bedside manner puts you at ease and he always takes the time to ensure you are happy with everything before proceeding. On the odd occasion I have had to see other dentists, they have always been extremely friendly and nothing has ever been too much trouble. I hadn't been to the dentist for years and was really nervous about finding out the state of my teeth as I was having some pain, I called Carisbrook to enquire about their services and the lady was really polite and talked me through having a consultation with them. I signed up the next day and had a new patient consultation a few days later; on both visits every member of staff were friendly, and my dentist Patel really put me at ease, he was very friendly, talked me through what was happening, and by the end of it I felt well informed about what treatment I needed to have. I would highly recommend this practice i have had 5 implants done Tarriq and James did the work on my teeth, and they both took care to ensure the finished treatment was perfect. Absolutely Brilliant Dental Centre. I was referred to them by my own dentist for implant work, I had suffered and industrial injury at work and lost one of my teeth completely. Carisbrook quickly gave me a rough estimate of the fees and I passed these onto my employer who was happy to pay for work. I had Incognito lingual braces (on the backs of your teeth) followed by whitening, and finally composite bonding to lengthen some of my teeth which had worn down over the years. After years of orthodontic treatment elsewhere and being unhappy with my smile I finally feel confident again. Initially I came to Carisbrook for a dental implant after hearing a good review from a friend who had dental implants done there and I am so pleased with the final result. Dr Robert Adams skillfully carried out my bone graft prior to my implant and Tariq completed the aesthetic side to my treatment. I then had teeth whitening and white filling composites which have changed my smile massively. Tariq is highly skilled and he and nurse Robina have been brilliant throughout my treatment. They are always professional and helpful offering the best advice. The staff are always really helpful and have always managed to fit me in when I have needed an appointment urgently. I have been a patient at Carisbrook for the past 29 years in that time I have seen the practice change from being a "generally good dentist" to the outstanding centre of excellence it is today. I have had lots of dental problems due to an accident as a child and poor dental treatment by other practitioners. During my time with Carisbrook I have had the usual fillings, extractions etc but also root canal work, bridgework, bone grafts and implants. I cannot praise enough the quality of work which has made a massive difference to my confidence and quality of life. But what has been even more important for me is the fantastic standard of care provided by all the staff particularly during some of the more extreme treatments. Robina has held my hand through bone grafts and implants.Tariq has had to put up with my leg acrobatics when taking my bridge off. I always felt very very safe and very very well cared for. They have endless patience, warmth and humour. All the staff at Carisbrook have great empathy for their patients from receptionists and administrators to the dentists, nurses and hygienists. Angela provides the most gentle yet thorough teeth cleaning I've ever experienced, no sore mouths here!! Unfortunately I am moving on and moving south so I will have to find a new dentist. My final appointments with Angela, Robina and Tariq were tinged with sadness I felt as though I was saying goodbye to old friends who have seen me through some tough times. I don't think many people feel like that about their dentist!!

Consultation and Root Canal treatment. The reception staff at Carisbrook are friendly people, which makes for a welcoming environment, also, the place is clean and comfortable. Just as a side note in terms of access, there were several cars outside the building that blocked the entrance on all three occasions I visited the practice. No parking available. Strictly speaking to the root canal treatment I received from Endodontist Daniel Turner. Absolutely fantastic care, it was a complicated procedure, 3 hours long, his attention to my wellbeing was totally consistent and on top of that, he did a brilliant job!!! Two other private dentists I previously visited advised I had to lose the tooth. Short version: Carisbrook Dental is the best dental practice I have been to by far. Their prices are higher than the competition but definitely worth it. Long version: I originally joined Carisbrook Dental as my wire retainer had been damaged and I needed an urgent replacement to avoid tooth movement. They were able to accommodate an appointment the following day (a Friday), where they took a mould and then by the Saturday morning I was able to collect a plastic retainer. After this, I decided to go for a new patient checkup. During the check-up, the dentist Tariq noticed one of my teeth was dead. He took an x-ray which confirmed this, so he recommended root canal treatment at a cost of around £500. Since this had been the first time I had been at this practice, I wanted to get a second opinion, as none of my previous dentists noticed this before. I went back to my previous dentist with the X-ray taken and after several tests, they confirmed to me that root canal treatment would be recommended. My old dentist told me they hadn't detected this because their X-ray system is old-school, which doesn't have as high a resolution as the digital X-ray system available at Carisbrook. My old dentist was willing to do the root canal at NHS prices (£50). So I decided to go for it with my old dentist and save myself some money. I had never had a root canal done, but it felt like my old dentist had done it quite rushed, just to finish it off, leaving a bit of a rough finish on the back of my tooth. I wasn't feeling very happy with this and I wanted to check what had been done, so i returned to Carisbrook Dental and requested an X-ray of that tooth. The X-ray clearly showed that the root canal hadn't been filled correctly - with several gaps along the root. This could have lead to further infection in the future. After seeing the X-ray I decided to go for the more expensive root canal treatment available at Carisbrook Dental. I was really pleased with the session and the final outcome which clearly showed a much better filling than my previous dentist had done. From this experience, even though it is expensive, I have decided to use Carisbrook Dental as my main dentist and will never look back! Roberto.

As someone who has never found a dentist who didn't cause me quite a bit of pain, I have spent years avoiding dentists, to the point where I needed some serious work doing. Research came up with Carisbrook, and from the first visit I felt comfortable putting my treatment in Tariq's capable hands. My front tooth snapped off, to say I was devastated would be an understatement. I went to my own dentist three times for him to fix it and for it to come off. I had had enough I did a google search and this dentist comes up in the top three dentists in Manchester. I made a call and managed to get an appointment the next day. The whole experience was amazing from the initial call where the receptionist put me at ease to the dentist Bhavish and his assistant examining the tooth and alleviating my stress levels. I recently visited carisbrook dental practice after being impressed with on line reviews, i myself hadn't been to the dentist for many years due to quiet a few bad experiences over the years, so it took a lot for me to pluck up the courage to even book the initial appointment, but what a pleasant surprise, the staff and DrTariq couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. Dr Tariq idrees went through everything step by step as my teeth are so poor i am looking for full mouth dental implants as over the years my teeth have started failing to the point there getting me down. I had an initial x-ray and discussed my options and at no point felt nervous or under pressure to make a decision there and then.
