No one likes going to the dentist, right. However, we all appreciate that oral hygiene and maintenance of your teeth and gums is very important and so is finding the right dental practice. I think I’ve just found myself a great dentist on my doorstep, that is the very friendly and professional Mr Khan at Meridian Dental Clinic in Worsley. From the moment I walked in I knew I was in the right place. He has plenty of time for you and has a refreshing approach to dentistry. It’s one of conservation without unnecessary or invasive work where it can be avoided. It’s fair to say that I’ve visited a fair few dentists in my time, some good, some not so good any others excellent and I feel that Mr Khan is going to be another of the excellent ones! I visited for the first time, to register and to get a second opinion regarding a suspect hairline fracture to a rear tooth cusp. Mr Khan carried a thorough check-up, look some X Rays and showed and explained to me the extent of damage and a number of options regarding what could be done to rectify the problem. I really liked the fact that he didn’t push me into one treatment or another but instead advised how durable and/or invasive each treatment would be and was happy to provide the associated prices for different treatment options. He gave me reassurance that nothing was required imminently and suggested doing nothing straight away if my tooth wasn’t too uncomfortable and to give each of the options some thought before deciding. The practice is tucked away in Penny Black behind George’s bar and restaurant in the heart of Worsley village. I have no reservations in recommending Meridian Dental Clinic and Mr Khan in particular to anyone looking friendly, professional dentist with an refreshing and healthy approach to dentistry.

I have been to a good few dentists through the years but Dr Khan and Pennyblack dental practise is the best one I have visited by far. From stepping into the reception area the staff are friendly, welcoming and polite. Dr Khan himself puts you at your ease, talks through the various options for you and the prices. No pressure is put on you to decide straight away. I have been going to Pennyblack dental practise for a couple of years now and I am so glad I found this practise and cannot recommend it enough. I certainly won’t be changing, ever.

Had an appointment here this afternoon after I was directed here by the Urgent Dental Service, having experienced pain and not being able to see my regular dentist around the corner due to having not been since before the pandemic. I can only echo the other comments here, praising the first-class service received. Although I live several miles away (M7 postcode), I may well end up choosing to register here permanently.

I have just been to this dentist for the first time. It definitely lives upto its amazing reputation. I have never had such a calming, caring dentist. All the staff were lovely. So happy I am now a patient here. Worlds apart from my previous dentist. Just taken 2 of my children to their first appointment here. So impressed. Outstanding care. Mr Khan really takes his time and explains everything. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Wonderful dental practice.

The dentist Mr Khan and all his staff are amazing, I was experiencing really bad tooth pain, after contacting them they managed to see me in an emergency, from arrival to the end of my procedure all the staff were caring, compassionate and understood my fear of the dentist, Mr Khan was very professional and informative throughout, he talked in a caring and reassuring manner, he explained step by step of each stage of the procedure, before I knew it and I’m talking minutes here he managed to abstract my tooth without me feeling anything, I couldn’t believe it was over so quick, and I for someone who hadn’t had a tooth out in 40 years due to my fears was ecstatic. As a result of my experience I would highly recommend this practice, trust me you won’t be disappointed.

Cannot recommend Dr Khan and his clinic enough. What a lovely experience myself and my children had here. Dr Khan is professional, kind and so patient, explaining everything to the children helping them understand and feel relaxed. We felt at ease from the moment we entered the clinic. I was a patient of Mr Khan for a number of years at his previous practice in Boothstown. Going to the dentist is no-one's favourite trip but I have to say Mr Khan is by far the best dentist I have seen in my72 years.He is very patient and explains exactly what he will be doing and why. If anyone is looking for a new dentist can I recommend Mr Khan at Meridian Dental, Pennyblack Court which is just behind George’s restaurant, Worsley. What a difference compared to the experience we had at our last dentist. Dr Khan’s surgery was immaculate and most welcoming. The treatment my wife and I received could not have been bettered. We cannot recomend Dr Khan enough. His manner and professionalism with patients is second to none. Dr Khan and his wife are so calming with people in what can be quite nerve wracking visiting a dentist. Both myself and my wife have never felt this way when visiting his surgery. We have never been pressured into have extra treatments and his advise is well sort after. We are going to stay with Dr Khan for a long time.

Brilliant dentist, probably the best around the area. Dentist is really great, informative, talks you through the treatment plan, and is just a really pleasant guy. Us as a family used to go to limes dental practice in boothstown years ago, and back then I regret leaving the practice. So I’m glad he’s opened his own practice because I don’t feel comfortable anywhere else but here. Pain free treatment, and the best around!!

The new name may sound like a mystery from a Sherlock Holmes movie but the only mystery is why I didn't move to this dentist sooner! Dr Khan and his wife are absolutely fantastic.
