I was seen the following day after my initial inquiry and was met by a cheerful helpful member of staff on arrival and was delighted to note the cleanliness of the premises. The actual dentist talked me through a tailored plan which was a very reasonable cost. They were reassuring as I am nervous about dental treatment. I would. Definitely recommend this practice.

He was kind and understanding and gave me all my different options. I am very confident he gives me all the info needed and them sorted the issue out. This practice has definitely gone up in standard since Uma has had it, in my opinion Mr Jones before him was absolutely shocking and his communication skills were terrible. I also found that he would be patronising and he put me off attending.

J. F.Best dentist apt ever! And I never thought I would ever say that! I would only go to the dentist if there is a problem. Today I can honestly say my fear of dentists is no more! Not only was the check thorough, everything was explained to me and my fear was understood and not judged. What I thought was my teeth is in fact my gums…and with regular hygienist apts this will get sorted. I will now be seeing the dentist every 6 months as advised to catch anything in advance especially now I have built trust with the dentist! Don’t put it off!
B. 5.My first visit for two years due to Covid but still friendly staff and good service with. Dentist gave a full explanation on X-Rays taken and agreed treatment to repair damaged tooth.

Y. S.Dr Sharif ( the lady) makes me feel very relaxed when I am in her chair and I always feel I am in safe hands. She always offers me advice and options on any treatment which may need to be done. She is always very gentle and thoughtful whilst I am having a check up or dental work. I am normally a very anxious patient when I go to the dentist but Dr Sharif is the best! My kids love her too!! I would highly recommend you try the practice.

M.I just tried to book with Dr Jones and learned he has retired. I am devastated, I have a fear of the dentist and been a patient of his since he joined the surgery way back in the 90's. He was a fantastic dentist whom had patience with those of us that say there trembling in his chair. He will be missed

I rang Portway Dental Practice and spoke to Karen who went above and beyond to get me seen as an emergency, this is where I met the lovey Cerri Lyndsay (Dentist) after a couple of visits I have today been and had the work needed done and I can’t thank Cerri and Karen enough you two are my shining stars and I truly have every faith and trust in you both. Cerri listened to me about my fears and how anxious I was and I left the practice a very happy bunny. Thank you both so much and i’ll See you both in 6 months 😊
