I am so pleased to have chosen Dovetail to give me my 'dream' smile. Rob and his team provided a first class service from start to finish. Even with the challenges of COVID they kept in touch and always made me feel safe and at ease when I attended appointments. The 'buddy' system - Kelly was my 'go to' - is a really good idea and you definitely feel like you're very much a part of your own process - something which I feel is lost with other dental practitioners. If you are considering getting something done for yourself then I highly recommend you check them out.

After an accident and breaking several of my existing veneers, Rob did a fantastic job of replacing and updating them. I'm a very nervous patient and needed sedation which was handled really well. Absolutely 1st class service from Rob and Helen throughout my treatment. I had an implant fitted by Dovetail after years and years of problems with other procedures i had had and now I finally feel like i've got to a perfect and permanent solution. Ive found with other dentists in the past that longer waits between appointments can be quite tedious and then the procedures were often given without a lot of reassurance whereas with Dovetail i've felt comfortable and happy throughout, the appointments were always within a few weeks or sometimes even days of each other and the staff always had time to answer any questions and queries i had. Seeing the initial price was quite daunting but with the split payment plan option it made the payment so much easier and more managable. I would recomend Dovetail to anyone, they've been excellent throughout and made quite a difficult problem for me feel like a walk in the park. Thanks again to all the team 😊

Having just finished a course of treatment to have an implanted bridge fitted, as well as some tweaks to improve my smile, I am absolutely delighted with the results. About a year ago I decided to embark on a revamp of my teeth after years of mis-matched dental work which I was very unhappy with. Following an assessment by a well known dentistry in Newcastle I visited Dovetail for a 2nd opinion - and I’m really pleased I did. I found that Rob and the team at Dovetail weren’t just interested in the aesthetics of my teeth but we’re keen to discuss the technical aspects of my bite and how it could be improved. Up until my consultation with Rob I’d only thought about the looks of my teeth so to discuss other aspects was a pleasant surprise. Throughout my treatment Rob has made sure I was involved at every stage and that I understood and agreed with the treatment plan. Trust is important... My dentist of many years moved to Dovetail to concentrate on implants last year so I joined a new practice for my routine dental work. After a very bad experience with my new dentist, I was worried for one of the teeth they’d been working on and needed to turn to someone I could trust for advice on a way forward. It was so badly damaged I felt the only option was to have it removed and replace it with an implant! I contacted my old dentist at Dovetail who explained all the options in detail, seeing another solution in fitting an onlay. This was made in the lab for me and fitted 2 weeks later. For over 10 years I attempted with a series of Dentists to rectify a problem with my Teeth dating back to dentures in my teenage years as the result of an accident. I had so many problems with my teeth for years. The final straw being the dental hospital informing me that I would need at least a partial denture. This was so upsetting that I started to research my options. To cut a long story short I ended up with a full overhaul from Dovetail, including an upper all-on-4 implant. I am verging on dental-phobic but Rob and all the team did their utmost to make my journey as trauma free as possible, they have been great all the way through my treatments. I cannot overemphasize how happy I am with the final result, so much better than I had even hoped. I work for the NHS and have lost count how many people have complemented me on my lovely teeth (sometimes I do tell them the truth !! ). I used to smile a lot and had a very broad smile, gradually over the years I had learned to become far more careful how I smiled because I was so self conscious about my teeth. I have been to few dentists in the past but this place is like no other it deserves 6* from service to treatment and overall. Rob and Allanah are best people I met they are both friendly, explains things clearly and advice you what's best, from the moment I walk in I was treated with so much care, proffesional friendly and welcoming manner, it doesn't feel like dentist place but more of second home, very relaxing and nice atmosphere.
