I had an emergency appointment and have to say it was the most positive experience I've had at a dentist. I had a tooth extraction and I was dreading it however Alex and the dental nurse (sorry i didn't get her name) were really calming and lovely. I would highly recommend this practice.

Visited the Village Dental Practice this morning and was greeted by the most pleasant receptionist, Sarah who made me feel very welcome and at ease. Sarah is most certainly a credit to this Dental Practice. The dentist I was seen by was Marc and his dental nurse Megan who were also very welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

I have a dental phobia so could never say I enjoy going to the dentist, but Tom helped me get to a point where I no longer felt terrified and could get stuff done without sedation. I never had problems getting an appointment, the reception staff are friendly, and the place its self is spotless. I don't think I appreciated it enough until I moved away and am now stuck without a dentist, having to rely on 111. So I highly recommend, especially if you are nervous.

I have just finished my Invisalign treatment with Katie and I am so so pleased with the results. Katie is amazing at what she does and always makes sure you are happy and comfortable throughout the treatment. I would definitely recommend her to anyone considering Invisalign or any other cosmetic treatments.

Got an emergency appointment straight away due to awful toothache yesterday. Was seen within a few hours. Was given an appointment for an extraction at a later date. I was told to ring straight away if the pain was unbearable--and it was !!! Phoned straight away this morning after a sleepless night and the team managed to squeeze me in this morning for an extraction. Can't thank them enough. Feeling so much better now. 😌. Micky Postie 👍

I recently moved to Whickham Village Dental Practice and have not been disappointed . Definitely 5* service from start to finish. I’ve just had some cosmetic dental work done and am over the moon with the result!!!!! Can’t thank Akash Ghai and his dental nurse Sarah enough! To say I was nervous is an understatement, they went above and beyond to reassure me and make me feel at ease anyone thinking of having work done I would 100% recommend them 😁

So happy to return to this fabulous dental practice today! I made the mistake of changing dentists when I moved away and have had a few problems elsewhere. Village dental were able to provide me with an emergency appointment and get me back on their records. I’ve signed up for the dental plan and now feel like I’m back in safe hands. The attention to detail in the dental work carried out, and the care and consideration provided by all the staff is so noticeable and makes all the difference.

Apparently, I'm a grinder. I had an appointment with Katie (dentist) and Kathryn (nurse) to fill three broken/chipped teeth. They did a fantastic job. I came out feeling good with a smile on my face. Katie's communication and attention were very reassuring. Thank you.

Another great experience at Village dental. After many bad experiences at other dental practices, I really wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff are very friendly and their patient care is fabulous. I am in the middle of my Invisalign treatment and, as soon as it was safe do so, they had me straight back in, continuing my treatment. Well done to the entire team for doing such a grand job, at what is a rather difficult time.

I have been coming to his dental practice for years, and without fail they always go above and beyond during this pandemic they have called my mother and father who are also registered at this practice several times and even dropped easypicks off which they use regularly as they were shielding and could not get their. from the moment I call up the ladies cant do enough to entering the lovely practice which i must add is always spotlessly clean and i noticed the ladies spot checking and cleaning several times whilst visiting. Mr Guy is great even though i hate the dentist, with my parents also they cant be seen upstairs due to their age so he changes surgery and i know this seems minor but it means so much so thank you to everyone, even at the height of this pandemic you have once again thought of all your patients and are doing an amazing job.

Incredible service from start to finish. I recently had a fall and knocked out two front teeth and chipped another. I chose this dentist as they were able to fit me in an emergency appointment on the same day and am so glad I did. I was fitted with crowns by Mr Ghai and the results are absolutely amazing!! They also have the option to pay for treatment 3 years interest free making the costs very manageable. I never write reviews but felt I needed to in this instance as I really cant recommend enough!!

I have been a patient at this practice for years and despite moving away I wont change dentists and today proves why. I have had many people telling me not to get root canal treatment as it horrendous and so painful. Today Tom did my root canal and I did not feel any pain or nerve pain despite waiting waiting for it the whole time. I thought I may have pain after and again nothing. I am totally over the moon that only was there no pain but also the fact got the root canal done in 1 sitting. Thanks Tom you are a true professional. Highly recommend

Great Dentist came with my kids and as you can imagine my 2year old was very unhappy and the lovely receptionist calmed him down and even put YouTube on the iPad for him i mean if that isn't amazing service i don't know what is! they laughed about it and didn't complain once.
