Margaret the receptionist was excellent - friendly and explained where I had to go I was dealt with professionally and courteously at all times by Rob who always explained in advance what he was going to do so that I understood what has happening. Potential solutions/future courses of treatment explained if needed. X-rays were taken and he came to tell me within minutes that all was ok. I have seen Caroline the hygienist for many years. She is excellent and also explains what she is doing. She has a great manner and as a result of her guidance I feel that my regular daily cleaning actions have improved over the years which in turn means that my teeth are maintained correctly I have been a patient at this practice now for over 35 years and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Met my new dentist Kerry today following the retirement of Mr Davidson. She introduced herself, explained everything she was doing and put me completely at ease. Made a point of asking if I had any problems or questions and supplied information and advice accordingly. Very happy with my new dentist.

Been with this practice for many years now and can’t recommend them highly enough. They discuss all aspects of your oral health and provide a plan and costing of any treatment. The practice is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and put you at ease. Calm and gentle dentistry at it’s finest.

Went with my daughter for her appointment. Dentist Robert gair was fab with her. Got told to rebook a 6month check up for her and the receptionist said we will notify you as their is people in the building with a snotty attitude towards me. Never been so embarrassed and belittled in front of my own daughter.she even had an attitude when we went in and to the lady in front of us. I get their is Covid 19 but be a little nicer.

Practice was closed for the weekend, and I called the emergency out of hours number at 8:06 on a Saturday morning and left a message alluding to my problem asking for help. I had a call back by 8:45 and was in the dentist’s chair at 10:15. Absolutely fantastic - how can you beat that?

The staff are always extremely polite, professional, well presented and above all 'Calm and Gentle'! Like most I hate going to the dentists and over the years have moved around quite a lot. However, I can safely say that I wont go to any other dentist and now travel quite a way because I feel so comfortable at this practice. Great work guys :-)

Out of all the dental practices I've been registered to this one is the best. All the staff are polite and helpful, and my dentist is always gentle especially when I get injections, as I'm frightened of needles the experience maybe uncomfortable but it's relatively pain free.

This is a truly lovely dental practice detached from the trauma of dental fears it promotes a positive dentistry experience and is totally patient centred. From the staff to the dentists themselves this is a fantastic dental practice and I am its biggest fan. Whether you want cosmetic work or just wish to keep your dental health at a high standard this has to be the best in the North East. It is also wonderful for children..no more dentist visit nightmares here you can trust in a family centred practice that will take care of all of your dental needs whatever your age.

Had on and off tooth pain.needed attention as soon as possible.Rang Whickham Dental Practice for appointment and they where very accommodating arranged an appointment for the next day. The dentist was really efficient and new what he needed to do to find which tooth was giving me pain.He did some test and advised me too come back next day as I needed a longer appointment.Next day it was decided for me to have a tooth extracted.The extraction was done with out any problems. Have being a patient at this practice for more than 20 years and would not dream of going to any other.
