Extremely happy with all our family dental care with Justin, we have been with Justin for many many years now. He is extra sensitive to our sons needs explaining everything so he is comfortable. Justin and his excellent staff have been successfully looking after the dental care of myself and my family for more years than I can remember. The surgery itself is modern, well-equipped and offers the very latest in dental technology. However it is service that counts and the service from all of the staff at Isca Dental is superb; you are always made to feel like a valued customer. I have been seeing Justin for around a year after many years of not visiting the dentist due to a fear of them. Since my first visit, everybody has been very understanding and patient with me. Treatment that has been needed has been talked through with me beforehand so I've known exactly what to expect and what would be done. I saw the hygienist this week and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Not only Anita did an excellent and thorough job, but she was also very good at explaining everything she was doing, making sure I wasn't experiencing any discomfort. Despite me showing up late due to traffic, the appointment was not at all rushed: Anita really took the time to talk with me and to give me some good cleaning tips and advice. I would highly recommend her and Isca Dental!

This is an amazingly good practice! After suffering decades of misunderstanding around a rare, previously unrecognised, condition of my lower jaw bone I eventually found in Justin a dentist who understood the psychological effects of such a condition and arranged prompt referral to a specialist. Equally, his support staff are really pleasant to deal with: helpful and personable. I know my daughter-in-law rates this practice really highly for the expert way in which deal with young children and my daughter was delighted when they pulled out all the stops to provide her with teeth whitening just in time for her wedding.

Unfortunately I am a very nervous patient when it comes to seeing the dentist. On my most recent visit I discovered that my usual dentist had left and also the hygienist that I was seeing was off. This didn’t help ease my nerves but I can’t praise the members of staff enough with how they treated me. From arriving at the clinic and chatting with the receptionist to seeing the hygienist/dentist everyone was very professional and reassuring and did there upmost to ease my nerves. I went from questioning whether to rebook and walk out to staying and finding another person I am happy to let work on my teeth/oral hygiene. I’ve always taken after my dad with really brittle horrible yellow teeth that snap and chip and it really affected my confidence in both eating certain foods and as a person. Justin has wanted to work on my teeth for the last two years since I entered his practice, he’s been very patient with me and really understanding. I’ve gotten used to smiling with my mouth closed for years. Justin has given me crowns and a whole smile makeover as far as I’m concerned which came with a new found confidence. The receptionist is extremely nice and helpful. My new patient appointment was awful. I waited for 30/40 minutes with no one updating me on the timing, as everyone was rushing around after another patient so first impressions weren’t good and felt I was spoken to like a child when I was finally seen. People walk in and out of the room whilst you getting seen which I wasn’t comfortable with but they didn’t seem to care or knock. However I’ve since had a hygiene appointment and it turned my feelings around slightly. She couldn’t of been more helpful and friendly during the actual procedure

Before I came to ISCA I'd gone through many years of extreme anxiety visiting any dentist, usually in tears at check ups, teeth chattering in fear at treatments and terrified to be layed flat. All of the ISCA team are amazing and make me feel calm prior to sitting in the chair and Justin has worked miracles, he has taken me from quivering wreck to having confidence in any treatment required. My front teeth were crooked and very worn down but now they're not only strong, I can smile for the first time in 20 years. I can't recommend them enough.

Last week what I thought was a filling had fallen out of my tooth so I rang the surgery approximately at 11.30 to be greeted by a very helpful assistant who was sympathetic to my plight - having consulted the Dentist(Justin) I was asked if I could be there in 15 mins. I have been with ISCA Dental Practice for a number of years now and it’s like a family. They take such great care of you and everything is tailored to each individual patient. My hygienist and dentist know my history and each visit is tailored around that and advice and support is given each time around maintaining good dental health care. I’m 47 and don’t have any fillings so that tells you how amazing they are!!! I also have all my own teeth lol. Joking aside, Even on a personal level they remember everything about you and chat to you on that level. I always feel at ease. I have never felt nervous, on edge or Uncomfortable. It’s like popping into see friends. They are caring, compassionate and clearly dedicated to the work they do. They have been on many journeys with me from losing my parents who were also patients there to me recently getting married and have commiserated and celebrated with me. Justin and his team are simply excellent. I’ve just had an implant fitted. It all sounds quite frightening when its explained to you. Let’s be honest, the thought of somebody drilling into your bone isn’t one that fills most people with anything other than trepidation. I was no different but can honestly promise that there was not a single twinge of pain or even discomfort at any time during the procedure. Each step of the work was explained and only when I was happy, did the work continue. Highly skilled, professional and patient friendly. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend this dental practice enough, I first attended for Invisalign treatment in 2016. I was so happy with the atmosphere, care and the way I was listened to by Justin and his team I decided to continue as a regular patient for all my dental needs. My Invisalign journey has been catered to suit me and am extremely happy with the results I smile a lot more. I have also required other dental treatment and find this affordable under Denplan offered at this practice, otherwise I would not have been be able to maintain and look after my dental health. After having traumatic dental treatments as a youngster under other dentists I feel Justin and his team understand this wholeheartedly and go above and beyond to ensure this is overcome at every visit. Amy listens to my concerns we even have a good chit chat at each visit, I leave feeling at ease. So much so I also recommended this practice to my partner and friend for their Invisalign treatment. Through Covid-19 this practice kept up to date with all government advice; I still felt cared for as a patient during this time, the staff endeavored to be committed to their work wearing all necessary PPE. I cannot believe it has taken me this long to sit down and write a review but at least its an honest one from many years of differing treatment :) Thanks Isca Dental

He explains what he is doing and how it be done giving me total confidence in him. When I’ve had an emergency, Justin has seen me on the same day which is amazing and shows how much the team at Isca dental care and put the patients first. Thanks to Justin I’ve also been able to improve my smile though dental veneers. I had put it off for years thinking it would be painful and involve significant work, but I couldn’t have been more wrong and since having the veneers done I’ve had loads of compliments on my smile. The difference is night and day giving me a smile I never thought that was possible and proud of. The process wasn’t painful and done in two visits. As an extremely nervous patient the team at Isca Dental couldn’t have been any more supportive, caring and helpful. From my initial consultation it was clear that I needed an extraction. The last time I had an extraction was in 2017 and I hadn’t been back to the dentist since… The extraction was painless and quick, Amy and her dental nurse were fantastic with me through this process, keeping me calm and holding my hand through the treatment. I’m 28 years old and have probably been to the dentist 10 times in my life. Extreme fear has lead to some minor problems with my teeth but, bit by bit the team at Isca Dental have helped me in getting back to good dental health. Amy is my dentist and she’s brilliant with me. She understands I’m nervous and explains and walks me though the entire process. Talking to a nervous patient through the step by step process definitely helps keep me calm. I’m not quite skipping in through the door just yet but each appointment becomes easier for me to deal with and I’m more accepting of dental work. Having recently undergone a course of treatment with Justin, I was truly mesmerized by their cutting edge technology he implemented. I have been a patient there for several years and I am always made to feel relaxed and comfortable, whatever the procedure. I recently had a raging toothache and I phoned the practice at 9.30am, had a callback from one of the dentists at 10.15 asking me to come straight to the surgery, I was seen, xrayed and tooth extracted and I was back home by 11.15. Justine has looked after all my family since Jeff retired . Recently during lockdown I needed a back tooth extracted I was seen very quickly and it was expertly sorted. After years of ‘umming and ahhing’ about whether to get my teeth straightened, I took the plunge and booked in for a consultation with ISCA having been recommended to them by various people who have had successful treatments. I opted for the Invisalign upon Justin’s advice and now 18 months later, the results are everything I imagined. The service has been superb. The front of house team are helpful and welcoming, the Invisalign trained dental nurses are always available offering advice, and both Justin and Amy made me feel at complete ease and have guided me through the process to great end results. Despite the process taking longer due to the COVID pandemic, I never felt like I was missing out even though the practice was closed for a period of time. Justin was on hand for advice, and even dropped off some new retainers for me at home when I needed them through lockdown. Having had a 30 year phobia of dentists I recently had to confront one of my biggest fears and have a tooth extraction. I have been going to ISCA dental for around 10 years, my family originally changed to ISCA dental when my brother required implants and I've never looked back. Before the damage my teeth weren't straight but I smiled on photos and they looked ok but after suffering pretty bad trauma to my front teeth where they fell out and needed putting back in (as pictured) I decided to have braces as an adult, as I never had them as a child and crowns to cover the damage. I needed EXTENSIVE dental treatment, including braces, six teeth out, two root canals, internal whitening, full external whitening and two crowns. Its been eight weeks since completing my treatment and I can honestly say Justin and his team have changed my life! I never thought my smile could be as good as it is, the treatment has honestly exceeded all of my expectations and I haven't stopped smiling since. Justin has given me the smile I've always wanted and even though I have two crowns on my front teeth, no one knows they aren't my own looking at them. Justin is down to earth, easy to talk to and an all round great guy, if you are nervous about having dental treatment Justin and his team are patient and will make sure you are relaxed, you are their number one priority and it shows in their work! I cant thank them enough.
