Havent been to a dentist in years was absolutely terrified until I met Dr Parm who is incredibly talented and talks you through every process to put you at ease. I love my new smile already! I now have confidence to show my teeth! 110% would recommend!

I had been putting up with mild toothache for a while but couldn’t get a normal appointment for some time. The pain got worse and kept me awake, so I rang to see about an emergency appointment. I was so surprised and grateful when the receptionist said if I could get to the surgery within 40 minutes, then JT would be able to see me. I live 19 miles away but just managed to get to the appointment on time. JT, turned out to be a lovely young lady dentist by the title of Dr Jennifer Turner and my god she had some patience with me. I am not afraid of the dentist, but have this fear of choking when trying to swallow, as I have some thyroid trouble. I need to close my mouth and tip my head forward to swallow and so being tipped nearly horizontal causes me problems, and the more I think about it, the worse the fear of choking becomes. She tried moving the back of the seat forward a little and then a little more and more, until I was sitting more or less vertically. She decided on a temporary filling for my problem tooth, which she would do for me then and there. My next problem was with the water extraction from my mouth when drilling, as this is normally with that “suction tube” which I cannot stand. So, she then proceeded to attach a special small rubber sheet to my tooth to stop the water going into my mouth, instead flowing down into a catcher of some sort. Because of my position in the chair the whole procedure was backbreaking for the poor dentist and wasn’t helped by having to stop every minute for me to swallow. She seemed so understanding and sympathetic and finished the job in what took ages or felt like it. This dentist has the patience of a saint and I would like to thank her for putting up with such an awkward customer and for doing such a fantastic job. Pain free again! 10 out of 10 for customer care and service Dr Turner, you are an absolute credit to your profession, so thank you again.

I was a very, very scared patient! I hate going to the dentist and had put it off until the pain was unbearable. I was so nervous I didn't eat or sleep for 4 days before the appointment! BUT i needn't have worried Parmdip was fantastic! She talked through each step and really put my mind at rest and I didn't feel a thing. Every member of staff I have encountered at this practice have been amazing and made me feel really at ease. I cannot recommend Harlestone Road Dental Practice enough.

I’m a nervous patient and had not seen a dentist in four years. Parmdip was lovely, reassuring me and talking me through two huge fillings and a clean. EVERYTHING was pain free. Hygiene first class,full PPE. Tanya the assistant and Parmdip did their best to put me at ease. I’m not a fan of dentists generally but definitely a fan of Harlestone Road Dental Practice. After being in a lot of pain consisting of constant pain in the jaw, I rang Harlestone Road Practice and spoke to Emma, the receptionist, who booked me in straight away, which was amazing. Once in the practice Emma, was very polite and calming and was there for if any problems with filling in the paperwork. She listened to the pain I was describing and helped reassure me. It was refreshing to go into a practice and the receptionist go above and beyond to help and provide a friendly atmosphere for when you arrive. As this can be a very frightening time for patients. Once all booked in, Emma told me which dentist I was seeing that day, it was Rameen, who was very calming and once in the chair talked me through the process I was about to undertake and said at any point I needed a break just to let him know. I didnt feel any of the procedure and it really was nothing to worry about. Rameen explained everything and if I had any further pain to call and make an appointment, this made me feel at ease as I felt that they cared. After the injection wore off I was pain free and was able to sleep again and no longer needed painkillers. The dental nurse with Rameen was very professional and friendly and they worked great together. Highly reccomend the practice as all the staff are friendly and smile or say hello when they see you. Amazing service. Polite, helpful and friendly staff. Couldn’t ask for any more from the practice.
